            Early January 2021 I began having overheating issues with my car (**** Cadillac Deville).01/12/21 Meineke recommended a variety of repairs. All were completed, including a new coolant recovery tank. But just recently, once again, the car alerted the temperature was too hot.07/10/21 I had to stop at a local shop for help. They found that the coolant recovery tank was cracked. They offered to replace it that day. I first contacted Meineke to ask if they could resolve the issue. The person on staff at the time said they could promise nothing until speaking with the manager on Monday 07/12/21. Their reluctant attitude suggested that the prospect of replacement was not a sure thing regardless.Faced with a wait of several days requiring a rental car, a towing fee, and possibly being told "no" anyway, I went ahead and had the local shop replace the coolant recovery tank that same day.I am requesting the cost of the failed repair be refunded - $289.49.
