1 starDo not, and I mean, do not hire these people to do any kind of work on your house! Have gone above and beyond to resolve this issue without suing. I have called since two weeks after installation of my solar panels about roofing nails being in my front yard. Backyard driveway ended up getting nails in my tires and a couple months later ended up having a leak which has caused ceiling damage and have called at least once or twice a week for 8 1/2 months and they are refusing to do anything blaming it on muddying of the ceiling. They refuse to call back after multiple calls left voicemails asked to speak to a higher up person, and nobody has returned. My call. Spoke to four different people within a year of having solar panels put on and still does not want to do anything about it.Review fromRobert W

1 starI would not do business with Freedom Forever again. I am paying over $200 to the electric company as well as paying for these panels. I am now paying more for electricity than I was before the installation.Review fromJim N

1 starI'll give them one star for getting the install done as planned, however, since then the system has failed to produce the contracted amount of energy for 3 of the 5 years i've had the system. Everytime it's the inverter that is the issue. After 7 months and multiple follow ups, submitting multiple documents, etc, Freedom Forever finally responded and noted a clause in the contract that they are not responsible if the inverter doesn't work. What?... I bought a solar SYSTEM from Freedom Forever and that included the inverter. I didn't get to chose which one or have any say in this, so how do I know it's not a cheap, undersized device? I can see it breaking once in that timeframe... but not three times! ... and it take months for anyone to notice and fix it. I paid for a solar SYSTEM to produce at least X amount of energy per year... and because part of that SYSTEM breaks Freedom Forever won't make it right. I would not work with this company ever again or reccomend to anyone.Review fromJason M

1 starI would not recommend Freedom Forever to anyone. The installation process took several months longer than they said it would. He also promised he would have an electrician install a plug and transfer switch on the side of my house for my generator to plug into during emergencies. (That never happened.) Anyway, they tried to install an inferior system to what we agreed on and what I was paying for. I ended up agreeing to slightly less efficient panels since they said they would install an extra panel to make up the difference. When they finally installed the system, it didn't include the extra panel they said it would. It took several complaints and phone calls and several weeks to get the additional panel added. One of their installation contractors fell through our ceiling while installing the system wiring in the attic. They patched the hole, but it took at least 10 phone calls on my part and around 8 months for them to finally finish repairing the ceiling. Once the system was up and running it worked great for about 8 months. Now the inverter is out and all they tell me is it may take up to 30 days for the new inverter to come in. Then they'll schedule a service appointment with me. In the meantime, I'm stuck paying a high rate for electricity that should have been offset with my solar production and a loan payment for a system that doesn't work. Don't wait for a status update from Freedom, they will never call you back. You have to reach out to them over and over and they just give you the standard...it may take up to 30 days reply. I'm pretty sure they knew there were issues with the inverters they were installing to begin with; yet they still installed them. My parents had most of these same issues with Freedom and their system was up and running for about three weeks before their inverter failed. The repair technician alluded to the faulty inverters when fixing theirs. Luckily, their system was repaired within a few weeks of failure.Review fromEvan W

1 starIt started with our interactions with, Payton G*******. He’s a very nice individual but experiencing the painful process and misinformation we received after; I believe he was just looking for the sale. As any customer would do we put together a list of questions. As someone in sales myself, it’s okay not knowing every single answer, that’s why there’s follow up. Payton on the other hand had every answer no matter how specific the questions were. At the time, we were unaware if the information was accurate or not. Being new buyers, we trusted him figuring he represents the company; so, we assumed the answers were in fact true. One of our biggest questions (and the one that pushed us over the fence to buy) was the burning question I’m sure we all have when going solar; “How long does the battery last?” Well the answer we received was “Oh with your consumption it would last about a week as long as you don’t run the A/C.” Well, experiencing the storm (Idalia) yesterday, the battery lasted about 7 hours with 3 fans and a fridge running. After calling Freedom Forever to ask why it would only last 7 hours when it was promised it would last a week, the answer was “oh we don’t have access to view the batteries, you need to call Tesla.” This comment confirmed Freedom is just looking for the sale. The answer during the sales process should've been "We use the Tesla Powerwall (or LG) and we actually don't monitor the use therefore can't determine how long it will last as it depends on usage." I’m not even mentioning the issues we’ve had with instillation. No one walked us through the process after signing, the workers showed up and did a half-assed job and left my property a mess, Freedom never took our system out of standby even though it had PTO for a month (they never had an issue collecting first payment though). This is a HUGE investment for us. In hindsight, I would have never agreed to this and fully regret my decision in purchasing this product/service. Buy a generatorReview fromPam k

1 starThis company is a SCAM! As I read though all these comments, I now know why they make false promises or stop replying at all. I am not even a customer and they put holes in MY roof! My neighbor got solar and they used my roof to get onto her roof and apparently they admitted to using Anchor's in my roof for their safety. And...to top if off, we just had that tropical rain storm that dumped gallons of water into my bedroom right through my ceiling. Now my roof has holes in it and my attic got soaked and now going on 2 weeks with no resolution. Just false promises. I am sure my attic is now growing mold as this starts 24-48 hours of the wetness. I am also asthmatic and they have no regard or concern. Apparently someone needs to step in and shut them down! As you can see it looks like they have a macro for their response to poor comments which mean absolutely nothing! SOMEONE SHUT THEM DOWN!!! BTW if there was an option for a ZERO STAR RATING, THAT IS WHAT I WOULD USE.Review fromPedro K

5 starsI would like to give a review based on the experience I’ve had with the “***** ******” install crew in Orange County, California. Like any type of construction projects, speed bumps may arise, and it’s honestly expected. This crew has installed many projects for me, some that are an in and out smooth projects and others that require special attention to detail and sometimes scope of work that is not in the typical job requirements. This crew makes it happen, and for me that means everything because we are able to extend our reach to customers/homeowners that truly need Solar to help bring down the high cost for electricity here in California.Review fromCristine D

1 starI give this company a zero. No stars. Worst company ever. I’ve been in the process of trying to get this solar up and running for over a year and a half and still nothing has been done. I went to ****** ****** a guy sold me the deal. But both these companies are the worst. They say they will get things done and make me a priority but they say that just to stop you from complaining. It’s better to go thru an independent company and pay the panels up front you can even get a loan. Than to go thru ****** which is in contract with freedom forever. I have friends that went thru independent because they heard bad reviews with this company. And if you see below and the reviews are all bad. Freedom forever will take FORRREVERRR….!!!Review fromCarlos B

1 starThe customer service support is the worse. I have sent over 4 emails requesting information on my panels. All I’m requesting is to know how much energy my panels should be providing every day/ month. But all I get is a bunch of bull crap runaround. This is been going on for over a month.
My name is ****** *.Review fromWayne F

1 starThis is the worst company to work with. I was lied to about all the services just to get me to purchase the services. I was told that I would not have a bill after the solar panels were installed. That was not true. Not only did I have a bill but first my panels were installed for months before i was granted permission to operate. Meanwhile I was paying 2 bills for at least 6 months. Now I'm still paying 2 bills but now I'm paying a higher bill. I was also told that when the power was to go out that I would still have power. That was a lie as well, because after i was granted permission to operate and my power went out, I called freedom and was told that i needed to purchase a battery which was not told to me at the time of purchase. This battery is about 12 thousand dollars or more. Now, I'm being told that my bill may go up depending on the off peak times. I do not want this services at all. Please do not waste you time with Freedom Forever, hopefully other services treat there customers better.
