The companys policy sucksI only finished 2 out of 13 units before changing from **** to a plumbing career and wanted to transfer my credits to a plumbing course. Even though it costs 1200 less I said the excess money would be fine to keep, as long as I get something out of the 3000 Im spending total. I just dont need **** training at all and made a mistake. Since it passed 60 out of the 365 days to complete the course they wouldnt do anything at all for me. Obviously no refund, but no credit transfer between programs.nothing. So now I owe 250 a month for a year, and will be getting nothing out of it, so I cant afford to educate myself in plumbing, and the **** course is useless to me.Business Response

Ed2go is a fraud. I have an A in the *** course and I was told to do 1 assignment over. I did it over 4 times which made no sense. I tried getting an extension on my time in the course, because all I needed to take was the final exam , but no one would get back with me. Now my course has closed, an A in the course and couldn't take the exam over 1 assignment that I never saw the final grade for. Ed2go needs a class action lawsuit against them. I have recently read alot of bad things about Ed2go. If I had known in the beginning how they were, i would have never dealt with them and gone a different ******** make matters worse, I later found out that the *** course is no longer accredited and they are not giving out the voucher that is included with the course. I will take this issue to the highest. A waste of time and money that I refuse to continue to pay for something I don't have and in the end I found out the course from ed2go is useless.Business Response

Hello Jenn,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. I reviewed the account on file and found one with the same phone number, but a different name and email address than what was listed in the complaint. If you could please provide the name associated with the account so I can confirm it is yours, that would be very helpful.
Once confirmed, I will be happy to look into this further for you.Initial Complaint

I was tricked and I want a partial refund. Ed2go is a scam and I dont appreciate their trickery and false advertisement. I sincerely sacrificed and signed up for one of their courses believing what I read that I would become certified. Especially given that they overcharged me. $1,895 for a course that does not even certify me. They misled me and its flat out wrong.Business Response

Hello *****,
Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience with the course did not meet your expectations. We understand how important certification and career clarity are, and we regret any frustration this has caused.
As outlined in our catalog, the course provides a Certificate of Completion, eligibility to pursue certification through the ********************************************************** (*****), and continuing education units (CEUs). Because certification requirements are determined at the state level, we encourage students to confirm eligibility with their state board prior to enrolling.
That said, we value your feedback and want to provide a resolution. Based on your enrollment date and in response to your BBB complaint, we have approved a partial refund as a goodwill gesture. Our team will begin processing this refund, and you will be notified once it has been issued.
We hope this helps bring closure, and we sincerely appreciate your patience throughout this process. Please dont hesitate to reach out if you have additional questionsCustomer Answer

Hello,I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the Paralegal Program that I purchased through Ed2Go via the ***************************************** website. While the course materials were provided, I was disappointed to find that the program was largely reading-based and lacked depth..More concerning, however, is the fact that I later discovered the program is not accredited, and therefore does not meet the necessary requirements for employment as a paralegal in most jurisdictions. I was under the impression, based on the course description, that this was a certified and accredited program, which would prep me to enter the paralegal workforce. However, the course does not offer any formal certification that is recognized by most employers, and the information about its lack of accreditation was not clearly disclosed at the time of enrollment.Specifically, the course description on your website states:"The Paralegal course will help you gain the skills you need to enter the paralegal workforce."This statement is misleading as the course is not accredited, and therefore does not provide the necessary credentials for many employers.Given the lack of transparency about the programs accreditation status and the fact that the course does not provide the career-entry support promised, I request a full refund of the amount paid for the course. I would appreciate it if you could process this refund as soon as possible.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.Business Response

Dear ******,
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding the Paralegal Program .We take all student feedback seriously and are committed to providing clear and accurate course information to support informed enrollment decisions.
Wed like to clarify a few important points in response to your complaint:
The course catalog and enrollment page clearly explain the eligibility requirements for the **** Certified Paralegal (**) exam, including the fact that this course alone does not meet the educational requirements to sit for the exam unless additional qualifications are held. Specifically, it states that in order to be eligible for the ** exam, students must meet one of the following:
Have 60 semester hours, including 15 hours (or 225 clock hours) of paralegal studies,
Hold a degree (associate's, bachelors, or post-baccalaureate certificate in paralegal studies),
Or have relevant work experience (7 years as a legal assistant or 5 years with CLEs).
In addition, the course description explicitly notes that it prepares students to sit for the exam upon eligibility and that certification and employment are not guaranteed. The course does not claim to be accredited, nor does it state that completing the course alone qualifies someone for employment as a paralegal or for national certification.
That said, we understand that your expectations for the course experience and outcomes were not met, and we regret any frustration this has caused. While the course content aligns with what was described at the time of enrollment and materials were delivered in full, we also strive to ensure students feel satisfied with their investment.
As a gesture of goodwill and in the interest of resolving this matter amicably, Our team will be reaching out to you to offer a partial refund. Please be on the lookout for that email and respond accordingly.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.Customer Answer

Id prefer a full refund. I feel as if the course is designed to look like an accredited program. Can you please refund me my money?Business Response
Date: 07/21/2025
Hello,
While I understand your frustration, a full refund cannot be accommodated, as both the course catalog and classroom clearly outline the course prerequisites. It is the students responsibility to review these details and ensure they meet the necessary requirements before enrolling.
You may review the course catalog details here: *******************************************************************************************
That said, we understand the situation and, as a one-time gesture of goodwill,we are offering a partial refund.Customer Answer

On April 30, I enrolled in Ed2Gos Data Analytics and Visualization Boot Camp through the ******************************************************** (UTEP) P3 Program and financed tuition through Affirm. After completing just one module, I realized the program was not a good fit and requested to transfer to their CCBA Prep course. Ed2Go initially withheld $2,137.50 of my $4,275 tuition as "nonrefundable fees." When I asked for an itemized breakdown of these costs, none was provided. After I escalated the issue, Ed2Go reduced the withheld amount to $1,068.75, stating they would update my Affirm loan balance accordingly. While I appreciated the adjustment, they have yet to follow through with Affirm. My loan still reflects the original full amount. I am now paying interest on tuition that Ed2Go agrees I no longer owe. Additionally, Ed2Go continues to refuse to itemize what the $1,068.75 represents. Their student agreement mentions nonrefundable fees, but it does not exempt them from disclosing or justifying the amount charged, especially when no physical materials or proprietary tools were used.I am asking the BBB to help ensure Ed2Go honors its revised commitment by updating Affirm and also providing a transparent accounting of the fees withheld. This lack of follow-through feels unfair and predatory toward students trying to transition into new careers through continuing education.Business Response

Hi ******,
Thank you for your patience as we worked through your request.
We want to sincerely apologize for the delay in processing your refund/adjustment through Affirm. There was a glitch in our accounting system that initially prevented the adjustment from going through as expected. Weve since resolved the issue, and the adjustment has now been processed. You should see the updated balance reflected in your Affirm account within the next week or so. Our escalated support team will also be reaching out shortly with a receipt for your records.
As a reminder, the amount retained reflects standard nonrefundable fees outlined in the Student Agreement, which cover administrative and operational costs incurred at the time of enrollment. While these fees are not itemized individually, please know that we made every effort to review your situation thoroughly and apply a fair resolution.
If you have any additional questions, please dont hesitate to reach outwere here to help.Initial Complaint

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with your company's handling of my recent enrollment in the medical and billing course. Due to unforeseen and urgent family medical circumstances requiring my full attention as a sole caregiver, I requested to withdraw from the course and sought a partial refund. While I understand your policy regarding a 10-day withdrawal period, I believe this timeframe is insufficient to adequately assess the suitability of a program, especially given the extenuating circumstances I presented. The inflexibility of your policy, coupled with the unsympathetic response from your representatives, is deeply concerning.I am disappointed that my request for a partial refund, given the significant personal challenges I am facing, has been denied. The inability to both participate in the course and fulfill my caregiving responsibilities has resulted in considerable financial and emotional distress.I urge you to reconsider your position and review your refund policy to ensure it is more accommodating to students experiencing unexpected life events. Your current approach seems unnecessarily rigid and lacks compassion.Business Response

Hello ********,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. Were very sorry to hear about the personal challenges you've been facing and appreciate you taking the time to explain your situation.
While our standard policy allows for withdrawal and a refund within the first 10 days of a course, we understand that unexpected life events can arise. In light of the circumstances you shared, we made an exception and are pleased to confirm that a partial refund has been approved and processed.
We hope this resolution provides some relief during this difficult time. Please know that our goal is always to support our students with empathy and fairness, and we appreciate your feedback as we continue working to improve the experience for all learners.
If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please dont hesitate to reach out.Customer Answer

Hello *******,
Thank you for your message. I want to take a moment to address your concerns and clarify the support weve provided so far.
Originally, you expressed dissatisfaction with delays related to the ***** certification process. To help resolve the issue, we made an exception and issued a CPC exam voucher through **** so you could pursue an alternative certification path. This was done outside the standard scope of our program as a courtesy.
According to ****, you utilized both exam attempts included in the voucher. We understand the exam process can be challenging; however, weve already extended support beyond what is typically offered through our program. As such, were unable to issue an additional voucher at this time.
Our program is designed to provide a set number of resources to help students succeed, and while we do our best to be flexible and accommodating, we are unable to provide unlimited exam vouchers or reattempts.
We truly wish you the best in your continued efforts toward certification.Initial Complaint

****: ********** Agents:Back in 2019 I was unemployed, so I decided to find an online study program to become a Medical Assistant with **************************. Hello ***,
Thank you for your patience as we reviewed your concerns about the Medical Assistant program you enrolled in through ed2go in 2019.
After thoroughly reviewing your account and correspondence history, wed like to address the main points:
Loan Responsibility: Your financing was handled through ******** (now Launch Servicing), a third-party loan servicer. This agreement is separate from ed2go, and repayment remains your responsibility. We have referred you to Launch Servicing several times to help resolve concerns.
No Job Guarantee: While our programs aim to support career goals, employment is not guaranteed. Our records show you were informed in writing in October 2019 that we do not provide job placement assistance.
Program Validity in **: There is no indication that this program is invalid in *************. Since 2019, over 200 MA-based students have completed the program without similar concerns.
Externship and Certificate of Completion (CoC): To qualify for externship support and a CoC, students must be in good financial standing. At the time of your request, your account was delinquent, which was communicated clearly by our team.
Certification Resources: You were provided with exam prep materials and a voucher to take the national certification exam, which remains a valid pathway to employment.
We recognize this has been a difficult experience. While we are unable to offer a refund or loan forgiveness, we encourage you to work directly with Launch Servicing to explore repayment or settlement options.
We appreciate your time and wish you the best in your future goals.Initial Complaint

I bought my cybersecurity boot camp course on November 20th 2024, on the course description it said that they will provide a voucher for the comptia course. Well first problem I did not have access to my labs until december 11th, a full 21 days after paying, second they did not grade any of my assignments in a timely manner. My projects were graded after the course closed on 5/20/25 so I could no longer view anything. Third when I did get done they tried to tell me the policy had changed right after I bought it. This was after calling Kennesaw state to check with them. They informed me I was entitled to the voucher because that is what the course description said when I bought it. ********* **** was the women I had the displeasure of talking too when I finally got an email back. This company is 100% not worth it, stay far away they will try to steal your money. I have all the emails to prove it.Business Response

Hi *****,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns.
Ive reviewed your enrollment and the timeline of events, and I want to acknowledge the frustration youve experienced. You purchased the Cybersecurity Boot Camp on November 20, 2024. At the time of your enrollment, the program did not include a CompTIA exam voucher. That addition was made to the program in January 2025, which is why it wasnt listed in your course description at the time of purchase.
That said, I also understand your concern around lab access delays and assignment grading timelines. While the course content and grading windows are managed by our instructional team, I recognize how those delays may have impacted your experience, and Im sorry for the inconvenience that caused.
Although you were not eligible for a voucher based on the original purchase terms, weve gone ahead and issued the CompTIA exam voucher as a one-time exception.
I truly hope this helps as you continue your career journey, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please dont hesitate to reach out directly.
