As with other complaints about the company, the company does not show, UP FRONT, when you get the Starter account that it will not work with THEIR Matterport camera. I use it very casually for measurements on jobsites and cannot justify paying $80 per month for their service that I will use maybe once every three months. Beyond that, I bought their camera, $5,500.00, due to it being high end and was, again, never told UP FRONT that it cannot not be used on their servers unless you pay for a certain tier.No, this is not a camera that you can take the data from and process it yourself, you HAVE to use their service in order to get the results.I started my paid account on Wednesday and canceled it on Thursday without using any of their services (I could not) and there is NO refund. No grace ****** (24 hours) to cancel for full refund. I asked if I had paid the annual fee if I would have received a refund and the rep said no. BE FOREWARNED ABOUT THIS!!! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!Not exactly sure how this company gets away with this or how they are still in business. They have zero ethics. There is zero truth in their advertising. If I could have given it zero stars, I would have.Stay away, as far as you can from this company.
