I would like to file a complaint on Buffalo Solutions/Home Again *************************** (HACRC), movers who packed out our household. This is essential in airing and drying of the house. We own a two-story house, and the second floor was not affected. Removal of all our personal belongings in the entire first floor is essential, to expedite, and effectively dry all affected areas. It took them 7 days to complete wrapping, boxing and removal of all our household, for storage. During the reconstruction process our home insurance company, State Farm, was negotiating with HMRC (Packers) for the cost of service provided. Home Again Content ************************** initial estimate was $29,172.57. However, during the course of negotiation with State Farm, their cost escalated to over $91,206.33, which is really excessively inflated. And they are not willing to negotiate. Our insurance informed HACRC, that theyll get a comparable estimate from another packing company, for the same amount of work, and to get a price with a bigger square footage, than our house. Our insurance adjuster informed ** that the second estimate was only $26,000.00. After six months of reconstruction our house was finally completed, and were ready to move in. I called Buffalo Solutions, to ask when they will be making their delivery. However, they informed me I need to pay the remaining balance of $54,000.00, in order to get our household. Our insurance made a total payment to Buffalo Solutions/HACRC over $40,000.00. Our insurance is now refusing to pay the remaining balance of $54,000.00. They stated that since I was the one who hired this company, that they cant do anything anymore for me. For the meantime we have an empty home. We have been married for 46 years, and accumulated many wonderful things. We are retired, on a fixed income, and living paycheck to paycheck! Please help, and thank you.
