    Shortly after my family and I moved into our residence (9/2021) we spotted a cockroach. We alerted our mgmt company PMI Golden State and they arranged for an exterminator to come out on 12/9/21. We alerted them again in January that the problem had not gone away and and at the behest of the owner of the unit we put down household roach traps. When we informed them on 6/2/22 that the problem had escalated and we were spotting roaches at a rate of 1-2 a day over a 4 day span. On 6/2 my wife called and spoke with *** regarding the issue and then filed a maintenance ticket and started a "conversation" via their resident portal but were never informed of when they would be sending an exterminator. The matter was then passed of to ************ who did not take accountability for the issue and instead chose evade our questions and repeated requests to speak with someone regarding our lease. I then tried to use twitter to DM PMI Golden State about the issue and was lied to by *******, a maintenance coordinator, when she told me she would create a ticket after I informed her that I had already done so. The next day she said that the issue was back in the hands of ***. I then tried to schedule a conversation with ************** on 6/10 and was never contacted. I have since reached out and schedule another time to speak. It took them 12 days of consistent pestering for them to figure out whether or not to they want will send an exterminator. Then I discovered that during a text conversation with my wife the owner of the unit admitted to spotting roaches when she lived here, prior to us moving in, thus the infestation predates our tenancy and thus the management company did not rent us a habitable space to live in. We have asked to break our lease three months early and now the company is ignoring us en masse. We have filed a complaint with the Los Angeles County Health Department to have them come and inspect the unit due to their negligent handling of a health hazard.

    Like the other complaint, I received no service from PMI Golden State as outlined in my agreement. After two months on the market they had not one applicant for my unit. On their advice, I had lowered the price $1000 from their initial comps. They are a sham, do not work with them. They have separated from PMI because of their bad service.
