  Taylor Energy was a breath of fresh air compared to the other potential vendors we worked with. ***** could not provide any workable design, others promoted systems too small (because they focused on payback, which we repeatedly told them was not our motivation), and another high-touted local vendor was eliminated after their representative promoted his ability to get a doctor's prescription for a CPAP machine so we could get "free" batteries (nobody here needs a CPAP machine).The electrical system in our home involves a 400 amp service and two 200 amp sub-panels, which required what is basically two systems (none of the other vendors could figure this out and wanted their system to power only one of the sub-panels). **** Taylor personally surveyed the systems, crawled around under the house and on the roof in order to develop a workable plan that met our solar and backup needs.His crew and support staff were courteous, a pleasure to work with and did quality work. They also reconfigured one part of the system after installation at my request (no extra charge) and after **** Taylor's inspection, changed some aspect of the conduit to be more asthetically pleasing.From day one, they communicated well, were timely and we passed fire, City and PG&E inspections without a hitch. The City inspector made a comment to the effect that this was one of the most impressive residential systems he'd seen.Were they the cheapest? No. Were they the only organization that listened to our needs and developed a solution that worked? Absolutely. We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend Taylor Energy.

  Perfect service every step of the way. Everyone was so helpful in both setting up our solar system and managing it once installed. Looks like the estimate of energy generation will be on target too! Would highly recommend this company.

  The team at Taylor Energy was absolutely Amazing to work with! We interviewed a number of companies and the group at Taylor by far was the best. Every team member was very friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. They made the process extremely easy and the installation itself was unbelievably efficient and tidy. They even recommended not including things in the installation to save us money when they easily could have upsold us. We have loved our panels and would recommend the team at Taylor to anyone. Huge thank you to ****, ****, and ******* for all of their help in the process!

  Taylor Energy was recommended to ** by our builder and they did not disappoint. They communicate with you the whole time. I had many questions along the way and they were always responsive. Installation was quick and painless. I would highly recommend this local company over any corporate solar company.

  Taylor Energy was awesome from start to finish! In an attempt to squeeze into NEM2 I was referred by another solar company ( who said they couldnt guarantee to make it happen) to Taylor Energy. Tory at Taylor was in touch immediately and drove out to our house in ********** the very same day to check the roof. He said they could make it happen! No other company would guarantee it ( I contacted at least 10). I am a very good judge of character and from the start I knew I could trust Taylor Energy. ******* took over planning and scheduling with the same care and efficiency shown by ****. They were pleasant, efficient and prompt. Their communication was stellar. They were in touch throughout the entire process and quick to answer any questions. This was a very busy time for solar installers and they were on top of everything. If they are that good during the busiest times, I am sure they are always great. In spite of the busy time in the solar industry (and estimates of the final install being in September) our install was completed in June. Just over 3 months from our first contact (including the 45 day wait for PGE to respond). Many companies were stating nearly a year to install. Everything went through without a single glitch ! Our neighbors used another company and started the same process 2 months prior to us. They wont have their install done for ***** months ! In the meantime we are free of energy bills an additional 6 months. Also important to me was the quality of the products and the install. Our rooftop solar is neat, with no wiring or conduits visible. We are well versed in solar (owning another home with solar for 8 years). You wont find a more skilled , kind, trustworthy & efficient solar installer in Sonoma County. They are the best !

  The process from start to finish was outstanding. Profession, courteous, clean and flawless. The project was competed on time and we are now up and running on the sun! Highly recommend!

  The team at Taylor Energy surpassed our expectations when working with a solar panel company. From initial inquiry to post install, the team was straight-forward, honest, organized and incredibly personable. Taylor Energy has curated a knowledgeable team that works patiently and efficiently to make sure the entire process is understood and seamless. We highly recommend going local with the impressive team at Taylor Energy!

  If you are thinking of adding solar to your business or residence Taylor Energy should be your choice.My wife and made the mistake of hiring a different company in the fall of 2021 and long story short, after they completed the install we waited ************************************************************************************************************************************************* We ended our relationship with them and hired an attorney to help up get the equipment removed and our money refunded. We missed a year and a half of solar savings and were prepared to forget about having solar on our home. In February 2023 we decided to try again. We got bids from two local companies, both with good reputations and the best in equipment. Pricing was very similar but the reason we chose Taylor really came down to first impressions. From my first contact with ******, a call from Tory and a visit at our home with **** and **** (the owner) as well as later contacts with ******* and ******* (their electrical contractor) they were professional, courteous, very knowledgeable, compassionate about our situation and in Torys words we would love to be a part of the redemption story here.**** sealed the deal that first visit by explaining battery storage to me and helping me understand what went wrong with the first company and why it would not happen again. The best part is we started the conversation with Taylor in late February and had PTO with PG&E on June 23 and were up and running. This all happened while Taylor Energy was slammed with work due to PG&Es change from NEM 2 to NEM 3. If you want to add Solar and work with a company that does what they say, communicates each step of the way and are just plain good people to deal with then call Taylor Energy. You will not be disappointed. *******************
