I have loan with redwood credit union for my vehicle. In December 2023 *** pulled the title from RCU and they have no information about it. I went to *** for renewal and *** refused to renew the registration as the vehicle was not under my name and RCU was not lien holder anymore. I contacted RCU and after the 6 months of transfer they came to know that their lien and my ownership has been been gone for the previous 6 months. They were deducting the payments from my checking account regularly. When I informed them in June 2024, then they started to looking out solutions. First solution, I should contact car seller dealer, which was funny and ridiculous as car dealer got money and handed over the vehicle to me. Second solution provided by the RCU, go to dmv and talk to them, and dmv refused to talk to me because I was not the owner in their system. Now it s march 2025, still vehicle is not under my name and I cant renew registration. I was using this vehicle for my business and due to renewal of registration I cant use the vehicle anymore and I have to buy another $40000 vehicle. I stopped paying them 2 months ago but they were insisting to keep paying so my relations with RCU dont get soar.

Redwood credit union is prejudicial against those recieving social security income. I tried to get a credit increase on my credit card with them for 3k so I can use my card to pay a lawyers retainer fee for a divorice. I have proof I have 30k in savings and a credit score of 806 and have always paid my 1k credit card bills with them ontime in full. They denied a credit increase because I am on social security and not making enough even though they approved me for a 30k dollar car loan I choose not to use reciently. It makes no since. Now I have to go open a credit card with another lender and will most likely be moving all my money out of Redwood Credit Union
