The maintenance team (Thomss *********) we met with were awesome! Very upfront with what they were able to do and what we were able to change, they were very adamant about fixing deficiencies we noticed during the walk through. .

I have been trying since I first applied to add my checking account for payment and the system still does not work. Like many others when you try to call for assistance you are put on hold that never ends.

Renting a home that had a window leak that was incorrectly fixed in October of 2024. The leaking was no longer visible until a March monsoon. My dining room became an indoor waterfall and maintenance requests were submitted. Took a month for someone to come out and when they finally opened up the wall to assess the damage it turned out to be covered in mold and sopping wet. At this point it hadnt rained in a week. The contractors had to submit another maintenance bid because the repairs would be more expensive than expected. That night we realized we couldnt stay in the house with the exposed mold and left. Long story short Tricon guaranteed us $150 a night for our troubles. Ended up being out of the house for 8 nights because Tricon forgot to approve the contractors second bid (I was told this by a ***). When we got back into the house we submitted receipts to receive our $150 x 8 nights adjustment to our rent ledger. The adjustment was supposed to happen in June silence from Tricon. I finally contacted them in July to see what was happening and when a manger reached out over text I was expecting communication. Well after two texts the manager blocked me and is refusing to respond to my emails. All of this is extremely frustrating and a huge reason why this company should get zero stars if it was an option and a F rating.

There was no communication about the move out or lease termination process, they posed fraudulent financial transactions.

Utility failure to transfer fee pops up for July and August rent. We call and have been told we will get an email about this issue. Tricon took over from pathlight, we have been loyal on time tenants for years. At an extra $50 each month and as tight as money is, these fees add up quick. No notice was given to us to transfer anything let alone Utilities from tricon.

I am writing this review out of frustration and emotional exhaustion after an extremely difficult experience with Tricon Residential. A wrongful eviction was placed on my credit, which severely impacted my ability to secure housing. As a result, I was forced to rely on temporary lodginghotels, friends, and familyjust to avoid homelessness.Despite reaching out multiple times to my former manager, Tricon's call center, and other departments, I received little to no assistance. The only real progress was made after I took matters into my own hands: I contacted the law firm Tricon uses, made repeated calls, sent numerous emails, and even appeared in court. After three grueling weeks, the eviction was finally removednot by Tricon, but through my own persistence and personal efforts. Its disheartening that Tricon took credit for resolving the issue, despite having done nothing to fix it. After sending a demand letter, I finally heard back from someone in collectionsonly for them to confirm that the eviction had already been removed. Of course it had. I did all the ********** make matters worse, as a former employee, I was terminated for allegedly affecting someones credit. However, the same manager who made that claim allowed my own credit to be negatively impactedby placing this eviction. She remains employed, despite doing the very thing she accused me of.

*****************. I recently put in a 60 day notice as our lease is coming to an end and we are not renewing. I signed paperwork for the house to be vacant in September. A week later, an employee broke in the back window while I was at lunch. He showed that he had received information from his office to do a vacancy check. I assured him we had the house until September and there was a major mistake. Following that, I put in a work request to get the window fixed. and its still hasnt been fixed. The next day, I got an email from our power company that our service was being canceled, and I was also locked out of the Tricon residential app. After calling endlessly, emailing, and leaving voicemails, we have gotten a laughable response. Our window is still broken, Tricon has given conflicting information as to how to fix the power situation, and not one person can confirm that the information has been fixed to reflect signed paperwork. I am unsafe in this house with a broken window and the possibility of another vacancy check at any point. Ive been forced to find a new home immediately and am out months of rent. I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and accountability has been extremely frustrating. I cannot keep my family in an unsafe situation.

Unprofessional!!! I rented through this company ********* left the house in great move in condition even recieved my full deposit back even recieved compliments of how clean the house was.I transferred to another home 5/3/24 upon moving in house was ***** infested and red ants /wasnt cleaned and has water damage. I put in countlesss work orders after being there for a month black was discovered. 7/10/24 Restoration team came out & notified that theirs leaks through the home but Tricon only approved of the bathroom and kitchen. The ceiling and whole countertop was gutted out left exposed due to black mold. The next day 7/11/24 I recieved a email from ***** ****** stating my lease was being terminated upon Maintance request due too many complaints and I wont be able to rent through them anymore. So only living there two months my children and I were basically kicked out .WHAT HAPPEN TO TRICON BILL OF RIGHTS? My four kids and I had to move out no where to go . Two of my children have asthma , I now use a asthma pump. We were not offered a hotel or another home to move to during restoration .Mold testing was done in the house theirs more mold in the home than outside. If I could upload pictures and videos I would. Very unprofessional and leave you on hold for over a hour which their hoping you hang up. Going to their office they claim their unavailable to talk.

I would never recommend them as they have constantly gave us the ring around for transferring utilities, we have sent them all of the information they requested and no one bothers to respond to emails or answers the phone there. They just come after your money and nothing more, I have spent quite a lot of money to upkeep the property myself and will no longer do that. It is a constant battle/fight with them for them to reimburse fee's that are illegitimate and at this point I will be seeking legal action due to the pure fact we have had nothing but major issues with them including no running water for multiple days when we originally moved in and backed up sewage pipes from them not throughly inspecting the place before we moved in, its not our job to make sure each and every drain actually drains, never would I have though touring a place I should turn on all faucets to make sure there isn't black grime clogging them from draining properly. Awful awful awful company. I would rather go back to the original apartment I was living in instead at this point. Do not rent a home just go and purchase one, less hassle than dealing with incompetent greed slumlords that only want money instead of creating long-term clients. I will GLADLY end my lease at any time if they didn't allow repercussions.
