      Sales tactics are shady. They spoof local phone numbers to get you to answer the phone, they harass you and hound you until you agree to a demo, they don't take no for an answer. They get your personal cell number and call repeatedly, multiple times a day until you answer.

      Potential clients beware! We took 1 cold call from them 3 years ago as we were in the process of looking for an ******* platform. They have been harassing ** ever since with calls even after telling them to remove our name/contact information from their CRM.They initially quoted us $40,000+ for ONE website - we found a much better, all-in-one ******* platform in ********** that ties in multiple websites/projects for one low price of ~$2k/year (we needed to track 7 websites for ******* purposes which would have been ~$280k in total with BrightEdge). If you like to waste company money and be constantly harassed - choose BrightEdge. If you like a better alternative and saving a ton of money - check out **********

      I received a sales email from a BrightEdge rep who claimed she had spoken to a colleague of mine. She used my coworker's first name. When I shared the email with my coworker, she said she never spoke to her. Nor had other marketing team members. I understand salespeople cold calling/emailing to an extent - though not being as persistent as they were in other reviews! That said, a flat-out deception such as this is more unprofessional than I've experienced - and I get lots of sales emails and calls.I was a customer of ******************** at my previous job - for a variety of reasons, including this sales practice, I would not recommend the company.

      I have asked Brightedge to stop calling my personal cell phone number SEVERAL (if not hundreds) times. The sales representative *************************** calls me from different local area phone numbers so I'm unable to block those calls from my phone. The sales rep even admitted that he had a note that "you asked us not to call you" but thought he would follow up with me anyways just in case. OMG. How do I get these calls to stop?As an SEO professional, I will NEVER recommend Brightedge again. They engage in very shady business practices and do not know when to stop.
