My manager and I connected with BrightEdge through my employer for a quote on services. I am not able to approve purchase of services; I attended the presentation as a stakeholder. We were not interested in their product. Big mistake: I've been harassed for years, and there's no end in sight. For the following 2 years, BrightEdge would not stop contacting me via my work phone number. I expressly and clearly indicated that my employer was not interested, would never be interested, and to stop contacting me. (And even if my employer WAS interested, I was the wrong contact!) During COVID, they contacted me on my PERSONAL cellphone number for the first time. This number is not published anywhere online, and is not connected with my employment, so I don't know how or where they got the number. Since then, I have been harassed multiple times a year by "***" from BrightEdge. He calls from different numbers (presumably VOIP numbers) so there is no way to block the call. Every time he calls I explicitly tell him to stop contacting me. "***" sometimes pretends that he's surprised, like he's hearing this for the first time, or changes his name and pretends to be someone else. It's always clearly the same guy. I sent a message to BrightEdge on ******** requesting that this person stop harassing me on my personal phone number, and received no response. I would NEVER do business with this company on principle, at this point, I don't even understand why these calls are continuing, except because "***" thinks it's funny. (Note: my phone number is on ******** National Do Not Call list)
