      I repaired a thumbstick on my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. The piece is great and I appreciated iFixit's repair instructions - they were realistic about the difficulty, which made me feel really accomplished after completing the project myself.

      Battery replacement took about 15 minutes. Battery calibration took several hours. This was a 2011-2015 MacBook Air. When the battery failed, it bent the keyboard part of the case. I removed the battery and the bend in the case disappeared. With the new battery in place, everything is back to normal.

      Looks like a professional repair kit with genuine Motorola battery and parts. Tools look to be high quality as well. Very impressed.

      Replaced an old tired battery on an Apple Watch Series 4 with 40mm face. Replacement was challenging but having all the tools needed in the kit it went fairly well. Glad they included the Force Touch gasket as I broke the old one getting the case apart. Directions on line were informative but a video to along with them would be nice. They included a couple screen savers which was a nice touch. The only thing missing was some glue to seal it waterproof again. Will be ordering from ifixit for my next project.

      I have used the iFixit website for various items. They most always seem to have what I am looking for no matter how niche the console/PC/Laptop/phone etc. Prices tend to be on the higher side when ordering through their website, but they do supply you with the know-how for most repairs. Everything is convenient and quick.

      My Mid-2015 MacBook battery was in poor condition, with health below 51% and frequent alerts. Although it functioned when connected to power, it eventually entered a loop of reboots and restarts, indicating hardware issues. I realized the battery needed replacement.
      I turned to iFixit for guidance, following their detailed instructions and YouTube video. I was apprehensive about the difficulty of removing the glued-in battery, and indeed, it was the most challenging battery replacement I had ever performed on a Mac. Previous replacements had been straightforward, but this one was notably difficult due to Apple's design choice to use glue rather than sockets.
      My battery was so swollen that I feared it might leak or catch fire, so I proceeded with extra caution. It took about two hours to carefully unglue and clean the area, but only 15 minutes to install the iFixit replacement battery. Despite successfully completing the task, I still dislike the use of glue, even in the replacement battery, as it may pose difficulties in future replacements. A socket-attached battery would have been a much better design choice, making the process simpler and safer.
