      My Mid-2015 MacBook battery was in poor condition, with health below 51% and frequent alerts. Although it functioned when connected to power, it eventually entered a loop of reboots and restarts, indicating hardware issues. I realized the battery needed replacement.
      I turned to iFixit for guidance, following their detailed instructions and YouTube video. I was apprehensive about the difficulty of removing the glued-in battery, and indeed, it was the most challenging battery replacement I had ever performed on a Mac. Previous replacements had been straightforward, but this one was notably difficult due to Apple's design choice to use glue rather than sockets.
      My battery was so swollen that I feared it might leak or catch fire, so I proceeded with extra caution. It took about two hours to carefully unglue and clean the area, but only 15 minutes to install the iFixit replacement battery. Despite successfully completing the task, I still dislike the use of glue, even in the replacement battery, as it may pose difficulties in future replacements. A socket-attached battery would have been a much better design choice, making the process simpler and safer.

      Love the iFixit concept, not pleased with the outcome on this one. I’ve used iFixit for other repairs with great success but the recent attempt to replace the battery on an Apple Watch (7) resulted in the purchase of a new Watch. The instruction repair guide was IMO seriously lacking in detail, leading me to separate the glass from the touch sensor pad, destroying the watch. The little heating bag did not effectively loosen the screen, and the Exacto knife wasn’t thin enough to remove the glass w/o scratching the black aluminum case. I would suggest the difficulty rating on this one be changed to Extreme.

      Absolutely great products,so I knew this one would work perfect! The adhesive is super strong and I'm sure will last for a very long time!

      The purchase was perfect and the install went well. However, the new part (screen) did not solve the problem, even though I paid for a diagnosis from a local company that said it needed a new screen (which is not returnable).

      Exceptional parts and know-how (videos). Fixing my MacBookPro (mid-2010) has been a breeze: so far several batteries, conversion to a 500G solid state drive, and recent (original) fan replacement. Great service, tools and communication. Keep up the good work!

      This is probably the best kit I’ve ever bought. When it came in I used it right away on my ps4. The screwdriver and bits were all in perfect condition and everything overall was amazing.
