3/30/23 This fabric store charges higher prices than the posted and labeled prices on the fabric. The management says this is how they do business. No refunds. I have found on-line other complaints of the same bait and switch practices (Yelp). The cashier ordered me to pay almost the double price verbally stated or leave the store. The store is not following ********** law on pricing in retail selling. By the law the store is required to charge you the lowest posted or advertised price.Pricing printed on the bolt of material was $3.84 per yard and the cashier called out it was $5.00 a yard. When I requested her to read the bolt pricing she said pay the $5.00 per yard or leave the store. When I refused the $5.00 per yard, she then rang up the yardage as $4.00 a yard. I have the receipt of proof charged $4.00/yard and the bolt label of pricing at $3.84/yard. I purchased eight yards of the material. I called the manager the following day to explain the wrong pricing and treatment of his cashier, he claimed that it is justified because he has the pricing reasonable and that is how he does business. I even told him it is against the law to charge higher pricing than posted or labels.I will not purchase here again and have told others of their illegal pricing practices and poor customer service.
