    Dropped harddrive onto the linoleum kitchen floor from table on accident.  Then fan noise was gone.  I've done business in the past year or so I made   a call May 27, 21 and brought it into ** Electronics.  I did not sign any contract except a verbal agreement for a diagnostic for a determination of cost to repair.  May 31, ** texted me to let me know that the harddrive wasn't repairable even after they bypassed the enclosure he wanted to send it to the lab. Quoted $800-****. He stated they guarantee the recovery & if they can't recover you don't pay the lab.  June 1,  The lab reported back quoting that it would cost $**** to recover data. He wanted me to pay cash.  I told him I couldn't afford this but I had client voice recordings and my son's sports so he offered 10% discount but most importantly he said that they guaranteed a fill recover.  June 15 ** said successful recovery $***** Monday 21 I go there to drop off brand new $300 Orange SanDisk.  June 24 I pay $**** abs when I looked on the drive it was missing files not a full recovery. *** requested name of files, locations locations to connect with the lab to recovery. They were never able to recover all of my data.  They charged me $**** did not complete the data recovery I went back and they stated they will take a look and try to recover the data so they took back the new Sandisk Orange drive with The partial recovery. The next day I realize I felt duped. They only recovered a few files so I send a text while I'm driving over letting him know that I'm on my way but when I got there he refused to give me my sandisk orange slip drive. He expected me to leave there with NO DATA, NO DEFECTIVE HARDDRIVE, NO ORANGE SANDISK AND NO REFUND.  I ACTUALLY CALLED THE POLICE BECAUSE HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE DATA I PAID FOR, THE ORANGE SANDISK. I TOLD HIM HE HAD TO GIVE ME SOMETHING AFTER I JUST PAID ALMOST $****. He refuses to return my broken drive and won't give me the partial data that was recovered.

    Called and emailed the company before I came in to discuss the issue with my motherboard. Brought in high end Xeon cpu ZBook Workstation for repair to the motherboard, they said it was repairable/replaceable after discussing and was quoted for the replacement of the same motherboard. I was told to come in and pick up the item. When I arrived they didn't offer to show me that it worked. I checked the computer hardware settings before leaving and found that it was now a low end i7 cpu. I told them I wasn't taking it and also wasn't paying more than quoted for them to make right. When I came back the second time they didn't tell me the harddrive was not put back into the computer. Several weeks went by and I found out that the harddrive was missing, when I opened it because the fan made a scraping noise when it was running. I confronted the owner again about having my harddrive, another of his mistakes, and he just says sorry and acts like it's normal. I picked it up immediately and went home to install it.
    and found out the motherboard they installed doesn't have the connection soldered onto it for me to attach the secondary hard drive.(same harddrive they took and kept)

    I'm writing a review in hopes that people absolutely avoid this company as they scam people by repairing with lesser quality components or will steal their hardware! Highly regret taking my computer to this company as I feel they violated me by charging me a price for one thing and then changing the terms at their convenience. I paid for the laptop with the lesser quality because I had no option and they didn't offer any discount or correct the repair/replacement. On top of everything, I have no idea if they took any of my personal information and don't trust them if they said they didn't. They are scammers, should be investigated for further criminal activity. Have photos of the computer hardware before bringing into the store, and screenshots of the discussion between me and the manager/owner.
