      Hi there!

      Domain name subscriptions can be refunded within 96hour of their purchase, as explained in our guide here:

      * https://wordpress.com/support/refunds/

      To move a domain name to another domain provider, canceling it is the least recommended approach given that domain names go through a relatively lengthy process before being available on the market again, as explained here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/

      Instead, you can follow this guide to move your domain name:

      For additional questions regarding your domain name subscriptions, you can reach out to us directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact and we will be happy to assist!

      Best,

      Hello again ****

      > I am rejecting this response because: The platform is not what is says it is and I want a full refund. and since they are going to be difficult I want to cancel the domain purchase now also and want a full refund for that too

      Thank you for your feedback. As we explained in our initial response, we can only issue a refund for a domain within 96 hours of a purchase. This would also require us to cancel the domain. There is a real risk that you could lose the domain if it is cancelled.

      Instead, you can point the domain to your new hosting service using this guide: https://wordpress.com/en/support/domains/custom-dns/

      New domains can't be transferred for 60 days. This time period expires at the end of September. After that, you can transfer the domain by following this guide: https://wordpress.com/en/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/

      You also mentioned that you want to move your content too. You can export your site content and migrate it to another hosting service by following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/export/
