      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally report Reddit, Inc. for hosting and encouraging misinformation and defamatory content about my company, PlaylistSupply, on their platform.A post on Reddits r/musicmarketing subreddit falsely claims that PlaylistSupply is a scam, which is entirely untrue and harmful to our business reputation. Despite the post containing blatant misinformation, Reddit has refused to take appropriate action to remove or moderate it, thereby allowing the spread of defamatory statements that can mislead potential customers and damage our credibility. This user claims our business is a "scam" which would imply we are committing a crime. Our business has done so such think and this customer is lying in order to spread misinformation.*********************************************************************************************************************************** Reddits platform policies claim to prohibit misinformation and defamation, yet their lack of enforcement in this case demonstrates negligence in handling harmful false claims against legitimate businesses. As a result, our company has suffered reputational harm and potential financial losses.I request that the Better Business Bureau investigate Reddits role in enabling defamation and take appropriate action to hold them accountable. Additionally, I urge Reddit to enforce their own content policies and ensure that misinformation about businesses is not encouraged or left unmoderated.Please let me know the next steps regarding this complaint.       In late December, I reported several comments in a subreddit that were making light of, downplaying and justifying Child Sexual Assault against LGBT youth. According to my understanding of the Reddit Content Policy, I reported those comments in good faith as discriminatory, however within less than 24 hours I received a permanent suspension on my account for reporting those comments I found, under the claim that I was "abusing the report feature".Despite going through the official appeals channel right away and despite submitting multiple support tickets asking for updates, I have received complete radio silence from Reddit and absolutely no explanation about why my interpretation of the Reddit Content Policy warranted a permanent ban and why reporting comments downplaying CSA against LGBT youth is against the rules.I would like an explanation from Reddit and a possible overturn of my ban.(The following is unrelated, but this has been bothering me: I would also like a way to get my old username "gueina" back, which was under the same email address as my current username "ammaaya", however I cannot find a way to go back to my old username in the settings.)

My Reddit account, [***************], was suspended without clear explanation, and despite multiple appeal attempts, Reddit has failed to provide any meaningful response.Reddit's terms claim that users can appeal suspensions, yet their appeal process is entirely opaque and dismissive. I submitted multiple inquiries, yet I received either automated responses or no response at all. I have asked for clarification on the specific violations Reddit claims I committed, but I have received no direct answers.Additionally, I have requested a full data report on my account under GDPR/CCPA (as applicable), and Reddit has not complied with this request within the legally required timeframe. This lack of accountability and refusal to engage in proper customer service violates fair digital business practices.Reddit also engages in unfair banning practices that disproportionately target certain users, and they offer no meaningful due process.       Reddit erroneously banned me for "harrassment" and "violating terms"for an email chain that I didn't even initiate and my views that transgenderism is not an identity. In return, they stole money I had remaining on my account in the form of awards that one can purchase from the company.

      Hello, I was incorrectly banned when creating a reddit account/community. I've contacted about 5-10 times now trying to get an answer and also have submitted numerous appeals regarding this issue.Not a single response regarding it, nor has there been any acknowledgement regarding the matter.All I did was create a post and enter a link (which I didn't know was wrong) on my own community and my account was instantly banned or shadow banned. I've sent numerous messages expression that I will work with the appeal process and try to understand the wrong doings, but regardless of what information I give I'm not at all allowed to use my reddit account / community that was banned.Please review my appeal, and give me an opportunity to fix my account that was (shawdow banned or suspended) so I can continue on without this issue.

      Reddit has unjustifiably suspended my account, for no apparent reason. I was not issued a reason as to why my account was suspended by Reddit, and Reddit does not even acknowledge to my account that I am suspended. I am only aware that my account is suspended by viewing it from a different account. I demand that Reddit restore my account to full status, and provide a reason as to why my account was unjustifiably suspended in the first place.
