    On 6/14/2022 i took out a loan/savings with Seedfi. According to them, once you pay off your loan, you can withdraw your savings within 10 day. The loan was for $8000, where I got $5000 at time of loan and the $3000 plus whatever interest it accrued after paying off the loan. We recently refinance our home and on 9/15/2022 I sent a check in the amount of $7963.99 (written by the title company) via certified mail (tracking#********************) to the address the customer service representative for ********************** gave me which was ****************************************************************************. Today I was informed by the ************** that this check had to be forwarded to *********, ****** as the previous address has had all their mail forwarded there for over 2yrs and the building was closed up. I also verified that the check was picked up at the postal facility in *********, ****** today, 9/20/2022 at 8:32am. This afternoon I called Seed fi to find out how long before they update my account and when can I request my funds. I was told it would be 3 weeks before the check is posted to the account and then another 2 weeks after that before I can request my $3000 (plus interest) from the so-called savings. Every other debt we paid through this process has had no issues at all. I feel I have been scammed and it is unacceptable for it to take 5 weeks before I can get the money that is mine. In addition, they are stating that my account is past due.

    I took out a loan thru seedfi and paid the loan off 9-15-22. It appears that their not truthful about their lending practices. I was told that my money would be available with **** business days which on their contract specifically states 7 business days. I would like them fined for not being honest. I requested to speak with a manager and their appears that their isn't a supervisor available where this business is.

    I spoke with "******" via phone and email on Aug. 9th, 2022 to get a payoff and an address to send a certified check to pay off the balance and unlock the savings account. This check was dated 8/24/22. I sent the certified check with tracking on 8/29. On 9/1, the **** tracking said it was delivered, but forwarded to another address. I called customer service and they said that they couldn't tell me why it was forwarded to a other address and they couldn't tell me the other address.I want to know we're my certified check is and I want it received a nd applied to the account immediately.I've asked to speak with a member of management only to be told that no one is available and that they will call me back in 1 to 2 business days.I will not pay another dime to this company. The certified check that I sent needs to be accounted for, applied to my account (makes the account paid in full), and the savings account funds need to be released to me by close of business on 9/9/22 or I will be contacting an attorney.

    I am rejecting this response because:  I have sent the tracking number 4 hours ago.  I will send it again.

    I'm not sure why SeedFi wants to continue playing games with people's money.  They know where the check is. The address they give is an empty building and the mail is forwarded to another address.

     

    If the check is not found, processed, and my savings account unlocked by the close of business on 9/9, SeedFi will here from my attorney.

    I was told multiple times and even on a BBB response that it would take 1 week to process  because it was a certified check from a Title Company.

     

    Lie after lie from this company.  ************ seems to be one big pyramid scam and I'm scared if I even have the $2,500 in the savings account that I signed up for and now have paid off.

    I took out a loan in Nov 2021. On 7/28/2022, I mailed a cashier's check, from my bank, in full payment of the remaining balance. On 8/10/22, I emailed customer service and requested to be contacted by a supervisor because I was concerned that they had not received my check. I received no type of response until 8/18/22, when I received an email from ***** in customer service, that confirmed they received my check on 8/18/22 (with the check date and amount) and telling me to allow up to 2 weeks for processing before it was posted to my account. As of today 8/31/22, the payment still isn't posted so, I called customer service and was told that tomorrow, 9/1/22, would be 14 days since my payment had been received and that it would be processed and posted at time. When I asked if my savings account would also be unlocked, to allow access to my remaining loan funds, I was told that would take an additional 5 days. After I received the 8/18/22 email confirmation that my payment check had been received, I cancelled the automatic loan payment that was due to be drafted from my checking account on 8/30/22 so, I asked the customer service rep if I would be assessed a late fee and if so, I expected that to be waived. At the end of the call, I asked to once again confirm that my payment would be posted on 9/1/22 and that I would have access to my remaining loan funds on 9/6/22. I was then told that the payment would process on 9/1/22 BUT, it could possibly take an additional 2 days to post to my account and then, 5 more days until my remaining funds were accessible. To say that I am beyond frustrated is an understatement. There is no possible way that it takes 6 weeks for a payment to be received and processed. Nowhere in the loan information did it say that mailed payments would take such an exorbitant amount of time to be processed. I will NEVER use Seedfi again and I discourage anyone who is considering a loan with this company to look elsewhere. RIDICULOUS!!

    I keep getting declined due to commercial address or po box and I'm using my house which I own and no commercial or po box. This needs to get fixed.

    Seedfi is a crooked company using deceptive practices for profit. They market themselves as a credit building tool through Credit Karma. What they dont tell you is, they take your money, they dont report every month like they claim they do and ultimately you will spend a year giving them your money, never see a boost in your score and then when you request to close your account because all you have done is give them money with nothing in return- theyll just impact your credit score and lower it by over 50 points! They dont tell you this and they are literally false advertising, not disclosing information and what to expect with actions taken with your account. Their customer service is horrible. I tried for months, emails and phone calls to get my log in information and they said they would reset my password and then they never would send me the password reset link. I tried a half a dozen times before saying s**** it, they do nothing for me but take my money. My score never went up and it was all a giant load of BS. Taking my free to them money because this isnt a loan. This is them going into my bank account and taking free to them money and holding it so they fan invest it and in return they report to credit agencies that I paid on time. They didnt do that, instead they jacked my credit score because I closed the account with them, thats discrimination and fraud. I received nothing from them but a lower credit score but was given promises of monthly reporting and increased credit score because of it. I have paid off so much debt and cleared off my credit for these con artists to ruin all that effort in one click. Its bs!

    Regarding your credit reporting question, I checked your Equifax report on 9/6/2022, and I can confirm we have been reporting you every month from February 2022 through July 2022. The payments activities happened February and March 2022, then no payments were made after. Hence, your account was closed in July 2022 due to inactivity.

    As for your password issue, I did see our system sending out a password reset on 7/4/2022 prior to your account being closed on 7/12/2022. I am sorry that this wasnt resolved sooner. If you would like any information on your account, please message us at ******************************** We can share the information in case you still have access issue with your account.

    Regarding your credit score, I checked your Transition score. It looks like. It went from 554 to over 600 shortly after your initial payments, and stayed around 598 through June. We are responsible for reporting payment activities, and account status. Transunion share d some factors that are holding your score down. This information is available in your account center.     Two weeks ago I sent in a check to payoff the loan. It was a bank check not a personal check. They refuse to unlock the $2000 they owe me. Please help. This company is a disgrace.

Their business practices are terrible in that they hold a bank guaranteed check for 2 weeks.  If this was a check written from a personal account it would make more sense. Be careful.

    I established a loan through Seedfi and Im currently in a position for a balance transfer with 0% interest, Ive emailed Seedfi at the address listed ********************************* for over a week with no reply, Ive also called **************)and sat well over 10 total hrs and cant get anyone on the line. Each day I wait and unable to transfer my loan to another bank will cost me a lot of money in interest.

    This loan company did not want to give me a $4,000.00 loan because for some reason they could not see the front of my ************** ID. That ************** ID is VALID and they should make other accommodations for me to give them a copy of my ID. I think there is something not right about them. I think law enforcement or forensic accounts should investigate their books. Based on other complaints Ive read, something doesnt seem right about them! You need to really investigate them!

    I sent a check to Seedfi on August 1, 2022 and on August 3, 2022 I received a delivery reciept from the United ********************** I called Seedfi on August 5, 2022 and was told that they had not recieved my payment. I asked to speak to a Manager. August 8, 2022 I called Seedfi with ************ and they indicated that payment was received and would not be posted to my account for 2 weeks. I received 2 emails from ***** at Seedfi on August 9, 2022 the 1st indicating that it would be posted in 1 week and the 2nd email indicating that it would be posted in 2 weeks. The payment is not posted in the portal at all. This was a certified check from a title company to pay off the balance and should be credited to my account immediately. I am demanding that this be credited to my account immediately. I requested a Manager from ***************** as every Employee I spoke to has been out of the country. I am also requesting that someone of Management level located in the ************* office call me immediately.
