All I get for business replies which they call hits or leads are from scam callers or spam callers trying to solicit at me for money. They then want to charge me because these people who are calling me soliciting me got my number off of Yelp ad.

They promised I would get calls if I just ran an ad for three days. Said I could cancel and not owe anything. I ran the ad for two days and canceled on the third day. That was months ago, and they are still charging my credit card. They refuse to remove my card information from the site despite being asked to IN WRITING four different times. They are liars and scammers. Each time I talked to a sales *** they told me something different. When I bought the ad, they suppressed the ads of my competitors, which is also sketchy. I asked for a refund and they sent the reimburseform on a weekend when my business was closed and gave me a two day window to fill it out. There was no mention of a time limit when I talked to them over the phone. I had to cancel my credit card to keep them from charging on it.

Yelp is the worst group of worms to exist in this world of reviews and accountability. I don't want to waste my time typing here, so just boycott them because they cross the boundaries of ethics.

Weve had a very disappointing experience with Yelp as a business owner. Our company, ***************, received a negative review from someone we have never provided any service to and have no record of ever speaking with. The review contained no details, no dates, and no reference to any real interaction just vague, damaging statements like Not good and Expensive. We reported this review multiple times, explaining that it violates Yelps own Content Guidelines requiring reviews to reflect a genuine, first-hand consumer experience. Despite providing context and offering to share proof that this person was never our client, Yelp chose to leave the review up with the same generic response: that it had already been reviewed.Even more concerning, Yelp moved an authentic, verified positive review from a real client to the Not Recommended section, making it invisible to most visitors. That review came from a customer who clearly stated:I worked with Bo in developing my menu for my restaurant, and I was very pleased with the outcome. Bo offered solutions and ideas that improved the quality of my design, and one that met the needs for my business. It was great working with him and Yanbo team. ******** *.This legitimate review included real details about the project, client experience, and results exactly the kind of authentic feedback Yelp claims to value. Yet it was hidden, while a baseless review with no evidence remains public. This inconsistent moderation and lack of transparency make small business owners feel unprotected and question Yelps credibility. We value honest, constructive feedback from real clients but the platforms current system rewards vague negativity and penalizes verified experiences. Yelp needs to take greater responsibility for accuracy and fairness if it wants to be trusted by both consumers and businesses.

I did not start the page. It was up one day and I couldnt get rid of it. So, I put some info up and I get nice reviews. 14 reviews in 21 years. I wont give them money and they call to harass me. Reviews go up and come down after being accessed. I have one client Ive helped for 12 years. Lovely review. Yelp said it was fake. Stay away from yelp, if you can. Terrible business practices. They should be blocked as spam but the phone lets them through.

As a small business owner, I would never recommend any business to join Yelp. My experience has been nothing short of awful and catastrophic for my business that I have sacrificed so much for. My company does not use Yelp at all (and never has), however a competitor found our Yelp profile and wrote a 1-star fake review. After proving that the review was fake, and not written by a client, Yelp refuses to take it down. This 1-star review is now the first search result that shows up on a ****** search about our business. The harm is irreparable, and Yelp is complicit in this defamation.

As a business owner, my experience with Yelp has been extremely disappointing and harmful. I am leaving this review not only to warn others but to highlight critical failures in Yelp's content moderation and business ********* business profile was targeted with a highly defamatory review that contains total fabrications. The individual who posted it is a known agitator who has targeted other local businesses. I took the appropriate steps:I made several attempts to resolve the issue directly with the individual, who refused to listen and continued to accuse me of lying.I reported the review to Yelp twice, providing clear evidence that it was untrue.Despite all this, Yelp's moderation team determined the review would stand. They have effectively given a platform to proven defamation while ignoring the business owner's evidence and the impact on my livelihood. The situation is worsened by Yelp's policy regarding profile removal. When I requested my profile be deletedsince I do not use the platform to promote my businessI was informed that while my account would be closed, the business profile would remain public. This lack of autonomy is unacceptable. Yelp holds my business page hostage, allowing a defamatory review to remain public with no control or recourse for the actual owner. Until Yelp changes its policy to allow for the complete deletion of a business profile upon request or begins effectively addressing clear-cut cases of defamation, I urge all business owners to avoid this platform.

Don't advertise with them. They charge a ton for nothing. Spent hundreds and didnt get a single job. Then they send continuing bills even after canceling.
