If I could give them 0 stars, I would. they claim to use a technology that TRIES to decipher real reviews, yet ALL OF MY REVIEWS are legitimate and have been placed in the Unrecommended section. 9 REVIEWS so far, and I'm a new start up trying to build my business. OF COURSE I ask people to leave reviews, WHAT BUSINESS DOESN'T!? I called and got an argumentative *** that talked over me and refused to accept that every business owner I've met HATES Yelp for this reason, not to mention others. I am using my free $300 advertising they gave me, then I'm cancelling any payments going to them. I wouldn't give them ANY money! I told him, I hate ****** too, but I'll be paying them to advertise, instead, since they don't remove reviews. Shady business practice. I been scam by Yelp Business ! When they say free trial - RUN ! These people take advantage of small businesses and scam people for their money. Now I have a bill to pay of $3600 on my credit card .Review from Cody M

They hide 5-star reviews and promote 1-star reviews. They only show a fraction of your reviews and say their algorithms check the reviews and post the most recommended. What a stupid system!!! We had three 5-star reviews in 2 days they ended up only post 1 of them and deleting the other 2. They told me to watch a video on their "trust" site to understand their review platform. They barely give you the chance to talk on the phone and constantly interrupt you. F*CK YELP!Review from Vernon H

Yelp allows businesses to delete honest reviews. They have deleted my review over 5 times and I called them with no explanation. Yelp is a paid service from the business and therefore allowing the business to pay for the reviews they want to keep. They allow businesses to delete reviews and this is actually against consumer protection! Im not sure why this business hasnt had a class action since many shoppers rely on the information!Review from Quantel C

I would strongly recommend never using this service. They claim to have a free account but charged my account for right around $1,000 before I caught them. I did not authorize any advertisement budget. Then they make it difficult to cancel the so called free account while still charging you for it.Please Beware Of Scams!!!Review from Daniel G

This Yelp corporation is very abusive and very controlling and a nuisance to other businesses and mine.Where do we go to put a Yelp rating for the Yelp company? Please guide us, please help us. They are very abusive. We don't ever want to spend money advertising with them. And they kept harassing us day in day out. Many phone calls from many different people who work at Yelp. Yelp doesn't work with our type of business and Yelp has a very bad reputation for the last ten years with business owners. We were successful before yelp, come along, and we believe in where the mouth referrals more than false advertising. We have been in the business for 30 years. Even way before Yelp has come along and we have made it this far. So whoever is with the Yelp corporation, please leave us alone and stop harassing us. You're not the only social media platform out there.Don't think you're that great.Review from Richard C

Had a employee call me from Yelp Inc. and bug me on several occations. She call from a ********************************************************** the mail and I notice two charges on my bill. One for $200.79 and one for $414.23 for a grand total of $615.02. So the credit card representative with *********** and i call the Yelp company and ask why the charges were on my account and the ********************** employee was so nasty from 1st word out of his mouth it was terrable. I did not authorize them to put anything on my credit card so I was asking for a credit to my account. Got no where and during the 1st minute the Yelp person we were talking too was trying to hang up and did not want to listen to me or the Capitl One representative. It's a scam company, charged me $282 and I can't control my account. On a phone saying it's a bug. WTF yelp.
