If there was anything less than 1 star, I would use that. Yelp is a Huge FRAULAENT company. Do not ever trust them in anything. One of their reps *** ******* called me and said i could get leads for my real estate business for $15/month. How it works according to him is for every lead that reached out to me, about $3-$4 will be taken from that $15 bucket and once that is used up, then my account will be charged another $15.Guess what in less than 3 days, I got rental "leads" in ******* (which I didn't ask for rental leads, only buyer leads in ****). Needless to say, those "leads" were not lead and the next thing I knew, they started trying to charge my account $30, $50, ********** and ended up saying I owe them $172 for 3 days. HUGE SCAM. They will not be getting that money from me.

As a small business owner I am extrememly disappointed with Yelp and their customer service. I understand how important reviews are to a business, especially small local ones. I have had every single review "Hidden" by Yelp. I tried multiple times to speak with customer service to try and figure out a solution, however each time I've gotten someone who is short, fairly rude, and they basically explain they can't help me at all. I think they've gotten so many calls regarding their review algorithm that hides most reviews, that they are tired of answer the questions. Now, when customers want to leave a review, I tell them whatever they do, don't do it on yelp.

I am a new business owner and one of my regular customers decided to review me on ********************** and the review was removed because the software decided it was personal well when you have a regular customer that makes it personal. Hello. I am really disappointed on yelp it's becoming more of a business corporation than a website to honestly express your opinion. That's all it is..

If I could give zero stars, I ******** a small business owner trying to grow, I was approached by Yelp promising increased visibility and legitimate customer leads. Trusting their pitch was the biggest regret of my business journey. They overcharged me for services they claimed they would providebut never delivered.I never received a single credible customer inquiry. Instead, I was bombarded with spam calls, scam messages, and suspicious texts from fakeor possibly fraudulentsources pretending to be interested in cleaning services. It felt more like bait for scams than genuine business opportunities. When I canceled, Yelp attempted to charge me nearly $1,000 for a service I never benefited from. I reached out to their customer service, and the only advice I received was to dispute the charge with my bank. That was their idea of ********** a small business, I cant afford to throw away that kind of money for absolutely nothing in return. I strongly urge other business owners to think twice before signing up with Yelps advertising services. My experience was nothing short of a costly and frustrating disappointment.

Yelp caught my attention saying I would get a free yelp page. I went in and setup an account and wouldnt you guess it wasnt free. So I looked at the charges. Less than $100 a month. Not bad. So I kept it. THEN I got charged $321. Called and was told I had a budget for almost $400 and was I told I set it. NO I DID NOT. I didn't even know marketing wasnt included muchless I needed to set a marketing budget. When I called they refused to give me my money back. I looked it up and saw tons of complaints saying they experienced the EXACT same thing! DONT DO BUSINESS WITH YELP. They will scam you out of a lot of money!

As a small business owner, I'm extremely disappointed with the way Yelp filters reviews. Legitimate positive reviews from real customers keep getting removed or hidden, while false or damaging ones stay up. Their system is unfair and hurts honest businesses. Yelp should be more transparent and allow businesses to defend themselves properly. Their algorithm seems biased and inconsistent.

I used Yelp for my business in 2020 and ultimately found the experience frustrating and limiting. Yelp allows businesses to upload photos, but you have no control over which image gets featured unless you pay. In my case, they continue showcasing an outdated photo from a wedding service I no longer offer, even though *** ***eatedly tried to update it. I no longer provide wedding hair, makeup, or lash services, but these continue to be associated with my business. Ive searched extensively for ways to remove them from my page, to no avail. Yelp also discourages asking for reviews, but ironically, they filter and hide several of my most genuine ones. Out of 14 honest reviews (all from real clients), four were filtered without clear explanation. Meanwhile, irrelevant or outdated content remains visible. I paid over $300/month for advertising with promises of new business leads tailored to my specialty services (hair extensions and hair ***lacement). Instead, I received inquiries for cheap cuts and color, not my clientele. It wasnt worth the cost or the ongoing sales calls pressuring me to advertise again. Most frustrating of all, there is no way to remove your business from Yelp once its listed. They position themselves as a public directory, so even if your services change or you close down, your page remains, potentially misleading clients with outdated info or photos you cant control. I just spoke to yet another *** who cold called me and asked him to explain all of this and nothing has changed. If youre a small business owner considering Yelp, I recommend to save your money or at the very least proceed with extreme caution and do not spend money with them unless you are absolutely certain theyll bring value to your specific niche.

Have got 0 meaningful leads and when you try to cancel adds they will not respond. Even after cancelling everything via app they have continued to charge fees. This business is full of crooked scam artist. I recommend staying away from them at all cost.

Misleading Free Upgrades and Predatory Charges Yelp promoted their page upgrades to me as a free servicea way to "help me out" as a small business. Nowhere was it clearly disclosed that these so-called upgrades would result in a $180/month charge just to display a Yelp logo and unlock features that should be standard, like photo slides and page customization.I was led to believe this was complimentary support, not a hidden upsell. The only thing I got during this time was a single weak lead. No meaningful traffic increase, no ROI, just a surprise bill for over $300.This is not supportthis is corporate greed disguised as help. Charging businesses for basic page visibility and calling it advertising is a shady practice. If you're a small business owner, proceed with extreme caution. Yelps billing practices are anything but transparent.
