    USA v. Brody et al - Ruthia He

    On June 13, 2024, Ruthia He, Founder and CEO of Done Health along with the Clinical President David Brody were arrested (Case3:24-cr-00329CRB) based on allegations that they conspired to commit health care fraud.

    According to the indictment between 2020 and 2023, He and Brody distributed and dispensed controlled substances, including Adderall to Done members in exchange for a monthly subscription fee. It is alleged that they generated over $100 million in revenue by arranging for the prescription of over 40 million pills. Charges listed on the indictment include conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, distribution of controlled substances, conspiracy to commit health care fraud and conspiracy to obstruct justice.  

    In response to the pending action, the business provided the following statement:

    Done Global disagrees with the criminal charges filed last week against its founder, Ruthia He, and Dr. David Brody, which are based on events that principally occurred between February 2020 and January 2023.  Both are presumed innocent.  Since its founding, Done Global has worked to make mental health care accessible for tens of thousands of Americans trapped in a spiraling national crisis.  Done Global will continue to operate – and do everything in our power to ensure that the more than tens of thousands Americans that rely on us do not lose access to their mental health care.  At the same time, we will continue to support our clinicians as they exercise independent clinical judgment, practice evidence-based medicine, and provide best-in-class health care.

    Done remains committed to its mission of providing “PATIENT FIRST” care to those seeking treatment for potential ADHD symptoms, and giving them the ability to reach their fullest potential in life.
