    I have had Chime for years and have had no issues with receiving money from others. Tonight I tried receiving $10 for a listing on ********. The sender has a business account and I have a personal account. ********************** would not approve the $10 unless the sender sent a total of $600 to me. They sent it to me, and I was told I could refund the other amount. However, the app had me link a different bank card due to the original 600 not depositing. When I tried to make the refund, Chime flagged the transaction and declined it. I called support and they were unhelpful. Lots of dead air and wouldn't get me a supervisor even though I asked over 4 times. So the sender is currently out 600 and I still have a 0 balance. Our issue was not resolved with customer support. Didn't help that the support person spoke broken English and could not enunciate.

    Dealing with their customer service when it comes to disputes is the WORSE. You can give them everything needed and they will still deny it. As if thats just their protocol to deny. I regret even using this account they give scam vibes. I got a email directly from **** verifying that I have been paying two **** accounts on two separate cards for a year. They created a ticket number that way Chime can contact them and reference that number and verify that this was true. I sent chime screenshots of that ENTIRE conversation and it still got denied lol. Like what?!! I was such an advocate to my family and friends to get an account for the credit building perks but not anymore I will promote another bank, a REAL bank!

    I experienced a serious issue with Chimes Pay Anyone feature when attempting to send money from a linked external bank debit card. Each time I tried, I received a vague error message saying uh oh something went wrong, and no funds ever left my account. I contacted *********************** support team expecting a resolution instead, the situation became worse.The support agent I spoke with gave incorrect information about how the Pay Anyone system works, repeatedly insisting that I had to add funds to Chime first. That is false Chimes own terms clearly state that this feature can be used with a linked external card. The agent also made inappropriate comments about my balance, which was irrelevant, and then shared my account information with another party without my permission, violating basic standards of customer privacy.When I requested a supervisor, the agent delayed the escalation for over 15 minutes before finally transferring me. The supervisor then told me the issue had been escalated to a higher-level team and would be resolved within one hour. That never happened. I tried again later that evening and the next morning same issue, no fix, and no further communication.Whats worse is that the entire chat history from this interaction including the conversation with the supervisor was completely removed from my account. No notes, no transcript, no case ID, and no record of what occurred. This is highly suspicious and appears to be a deliberate attempt to erase evidence of how the issue was handled.Chime is not a traditional bank, but it holds itself out as a financial institution and must be held to the same regulatory and ethical standards. The way this was handled raises serious concerns about data privacy, internal accountability, and customer service transparency. I have consulted legal counsel, and if this is not resolved immediately, I intend to file complaints with the ***** FTC, and additional oversight bodies.

    They closed my account on May 1, 2025
    I have a remaining balance that they was supposed to send out almost 30 days ago. Now they are playing. I want my money.

    Ive been a loyal and responsible Chime user for a long time, never had any issues until now and Im honestly disgusted by how I was treated.Recently, my paycheck from work was under $200 due to an issue completely out of my control. I understood that Chimes ****** feature would be paused because of that fine. But after I finally received a qualifying deposit, my pay says its activated yet still unavailable. It shows I qualify again, but I still cant access my money. It makes zero sense.When I reached out to customer service, I was shocked at how insensitive and unhelpful the representative was. They showed no empathy, offered no real solution, and basically told me I had to wait for another direct deposit over $200. I needed that money right now, and instead of helping, they hid behind a rigid, heartless policy.Ive always been responsible with my Chime account and direct deposits. This was a one time situation and Chime couldnt even show an ounce of flexibility or support when it mattered. I feel insulted, ignored, and beyond disappointed. Im strongly considering closing my account because this experience proved to me that when you really need Chime to show up, they dont.

    Hello, my name is ******* ******, I'm writing to make a compliant about Chime. I have been a customer for years with **********************. I haven't had many problems with their service. Today June 4th I deposited a check that I usually deposit from my 401k, and it was rejected. I called them to find out because this had never happened before and they've cashed it as soon as I submitted it. The agent told me that on her end she doesn't see a visual on why the check was rejected. It went through clear on my phone on both sides twice. It was not postdated which she was able to see. All she could tell me is that she didn't know why it's being rejected by the computer system on her end! From calling I could understand that Chime has a new AI system from the last time I called Chime. My opinion is that the system is flawed, and no one can answer why it rejected the same type of check that I've deposited multiple times! I asked her to let me speak to someone on another end who could tell me what's going on with rejecting my check, and she told me that the department she works at for checks deposited wouldn't still be able to answer my question! So basically, AI for Chime can dictate my check deposit procedure and they don't have an answer for it! Then she tells me places I could go to cash the check! Even a check cashing business would give me the reason why they couldn't cash it! So now I'm inconvenienced and KNOW this is supposed to be a service that I'm definitely supposed to get through my banking service! I'm very upset one- Because I've cashed this check multiple times with Chime Two- Now I have to go out of my way and most likely pay fees. Three- Is this going to happen again because of your AI system not recognizing a long-time customer that has deposited this check multiple times before!

    THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, THEY TAKE YOU'RE MONEY AND WHEN YOU WANT TO CLOSE OUT THE ACCOUNT FOR NONE ACTION ON THEIR BEHALF, THEY CLAIM IT'S FOR A SERVICE, BUT DOESN'T STATE THAT FROM THE START, THEY MAKE IT SEEM AS THOUGH YOU PAYING FOR A CREDIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT, IT'S A SCAM TO JUST TAKE SOMEONE'S MONEY

    My experience with chime financial is that they do not care about their customers and will not do anything to help benefit the customers if something goes wrong with your account. I was a victim of identity theft and my accounts were compromised. I went through all the proper channels and steps of reporting and disputing. I sent over all the documentation to chime financial due to over 10k dollars gone out of my account and disputed the transactions 3 separate times for them to say no error was found. Even the officer that took my report and investigated it said they were fraud due to similar cases she had filed recently. So dont use chime financial or anything chime at all because if your account is compromised, they will do nothing but waste your time.

    They will take money from your disability check and then tell you why is because youre late on your loan, but you cant pay them back because they took double what you owe.

    If I could leave 0 stars I would. Or negative even!I have been trying for two months to get my money back (again) after Chime let a purchase go through while both my physical and virtual cards were frozen. It was opened as a dispute, then a rebuttal, multiple times, until just yesterday I spoke to someone who said she was the highest up they could go and they were unable to open the claim again. Every single person I have spoken to (multiple people over the past two months) has refused to take responsibility for Chime's negligent actions. This is also not the first time this has happened. The last time money was taken out while the cards were frozen, they did give me the money back the next day.However, this is a larger sum of money, so naturally, I don't expect to see it again.I have since emailed the CEO of Chime. Not anticipating an answer, I am in the process of vetting a lawyer. DO NOT BANK WITH CHIME.
