I accepted a job offer and they use Checkr as their background checker.Checkr reported false information. My disposition was not guilty and should not have put this on my background check. Now I might possibly lose my job offer due to the incorrect information on my background check.I have submitted court documents to them and have not heard back.I will most likely follow up with a law suit if they cannot get it corrected ASAP. and 100% will if the false information from my background check causes me to lose my job offer.Business Response

Ive been trying to work for DoorDash for over the past month. I applied for DoorDash in 2020 but was denied due to background check. I understood but now a lot of driving violations have fell off. All I need is for CheckR to run another background check and I should be good to go. I drive trucks fulltime so I know Im a safe driver. I just need CheckR to run my MVR again but its taking forever. This company has been extending and forgetting about background checks. People with zero things that affect the background check and no criminal records are waiting for no reason while other people with a abundance of things that extend the background check are potentially getting done faster. This is extremely unprofessional and has me consider what has happened to customer service anymore I have reached out to them for assistance and nothing has been done.Business Response

Same issue as other have been having, attempting to apply to doordash and must get a background check through these people. They keep suspending my check saying they need additional documents, when I attempt to reach out to provide these documents I get no answer, currently been on phone support for over an hour and 30 minutes and still no answer. Email support is just as unresponsive. Going though their automated system just gets you stuck in a feedback loop telling you to go back to doordash. This level of incompitence is uncalled for and is also costing me my job.Business Response

For almost a year, I have been actively fighting 2 criminal cases involving 3 charges that I am innocent. One of the cases was dropped after 30 days, unfortunately checkr updated all of my employers of my arrests and was dropped from 3 apps that I was employed from. The issue is a federal matter that prevents employers from adverse action or even denial of employers because of an arrest. The process is algorithmic based and unfortunately it was not programmed to follow the law. Once I was dropped from my apps because of the first charge I contested the results from within Checkr portal and it was removed but the other case was highlighted as "Consider" and the employers upheld their intitial decision based on information that is not legally supposed to be considered for adverse action or otherwise.Now the new background reports have denied me employment on 3 occasions that I can prove and there is no recourse for me. All I want is the public to know that they are facilitating unlawful behavior based on information that is not supposed to be disclosedBusiness Response

I have been waiting on my background check to clear because I cant work at shift key without it but checkr keeps saying they cant complete my report with the *** that I entered which is crazy because thats my *** and checkr cleared a background check for me last year with that same ***. I cant get ahold of anyone, Ive sent multiple emails with no response and I have called the number 3 different times and been on hold for up to 2 hours with no answer. I moved from ********* to ****** recently. I have been an Uber Driver for a while and was a driver in *********. Since my move to ******, I have gotten my vehicle registered in ****** and changed my licensed state from ********* over to ******. I have an ACTIVE ****** license as of March 20th, 2023. Uber requires a background check to be completed on me. Uber used Checkr to run their background check on me. My report came back on March 30th with issues. The report contains inaccurate and outdated information regarding my licensed state, zip code, and license. The report states that I am licensed in ********* and that my current zipcode is *****. I have since then reported these errors to Checkr, yet they have failed to respond to me. I have provided my current ACTIVE ****** license as shown on the ****** DMV website. My current zipcode is *****, my current licensed ***************, and my Drivers License Number is different from the outdated one that Checkr reported on the background check I desire them to fix these errors, resubmit the report with CURRENT information to Uber fir their background check, I want them to formally apologize to ne that they completely messed up, and I want them to repay me for lost time and wages that I could have been earning had they actually performed a correct and current background check on me. We run reports based on the information provided to us by the company requesting the report. In your case, Uber ordered two separate Motor Vehicle Reports. The first one was requested on 3/29/23 with your TN license and TN zip code. The second one was requested on 3/30/23 with your NV license and your NV zip code. We have successfully updated your first Motor Vehicle Report to your NV license and have alerted Uber so they can determine the next steps. Unfortunately we are unable to update the zip code on your first report, that is something that Uber would need to request if it was required. We do recommend reaching out to Uber directly though since the newer report has your NV zip code already.

I have submitted 2 background checks to be completed by this company one on 3/17/23 and one 3/27/23. Every time they email me back stating they need more info I provide the social security number again and then it keeps saying that its pending. I has called 5 times and have been left on hold for 3 hours and it hangs up on me. I have emailed them a submitted help tickets and get no response and providing documentation that they need to process the request and have still gotten mo where. I have also submitted the call back selection and have not received a call back either.
