      They dont have a support live agent to speak with over the phone. They dont want to accommodated customers and just protect the company, so you cant reach a manager, when you do its through email, and when you reply to the email, someone totally different and not a manager responds. It takes them days to a week to respond to a question that might need a follow up, which means another week, and half the agents dont even bother to read or even understand the issue, they just copy paste scrips all day, and unless you state it exactly as they need it, they put no effort into a resolution, and even then its bare minimum, while they are getting paid to do this. This is absolutely company criminal behavior, and they should be shut down for such abuse, sluggish, antagonizing behavior thats jeopardizing so many peoples lives for their own insane behavior and system. Why is this harassment and abuse tolerated by the BBB? These are my taxes and labor that are helping these businesses stay afloat.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      that doesnt resolve their terrible customer service system. There is non. No live agents, takes over 5 days to hear back from their agents via email who dont even bother to respond with relevant info. They just copy scripts and refuse any further assistance. So if they make a mistake or need documents, it takes several back and forths if even. Which turns into weeks. Not an acceptable or relevant response.

      On June 19th my wife was forced to do a background check for Spark delivery service. After already working for them for six months and passing their background check the first time. Nothing happened to change the previous information. Now its been over a month and there is zero progress been made on completing the background check. That had already been completed once. Trying to contact the CHECKR background agency results in cyclic results its always another agencys problem. You cannot contact anybody via phone. And the Agents just copy and paste scripted response. This company provides zero customer service by real people.

      I am well into my second week waiting for my Spark check to be completed. I have been with this company for over a year and and a new background check has suddenly been ordered with no reason given. This has put me out of work for no apparent reason . All this company seems to be doing is making more money. Clean is my history. No human support at all. Only bots with repeated answers. Help I need to feed my family with a company that I have been with for over a year. I need this company to do what has been promised and stop moving there completion dates by a week at a time.

      Most background checks complete in 3 to 7 business days, but it depends on things like the *** and courts being searched.

      Checkr has told me time and time again that i will be contacted by a manager so i can get my dispute esculated. Every support agent tells me they put in a support ticket and never do.

They have told me a manager will contact me within ***** hours and ive still yet to get an email from a manager. This company doesnt care about the lives that are suffering because of their lack of accountability.

      I have my expungement documentation for the charges that are now 7 plus years old. I demand that they be removed within 15days by law because it is causing me hardship from obtaining a job door dash, Amazon flex, etc and need this fixed.       I am disputing inaccurate, incorrect, and misleading information contained in the pre-adverse notice received by Clipboard Health. Check r IS IN VIOLATION OF THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT ON CONSUMERS AND WHICH THEY REPORT OUTDATED OR NON-RELEVANT INFORMATION. CHECKR INADVERTENTLY PICKS AND CHOOSES TO DISPLAY INCORRECT AND OUTDATED INFORMATION WITHOUT TAKING THE TIME VERIFY OLD DATA; THEY ARE IN BREACH OF COMMITTING DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER BY BEING LIBEL FOR PUBLISHING, PRINTING, EXPRESSING THROUGH WRITING FALSE STATEMENTS THAT ***** A PERSONS REPUTATION. BECAUSE THIS INFORMATION IS PRINTED, IT IS OFTEN MORE PERMANENT AND EASILY SHARED CAUSING MORE HARM. I HAVE SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS TO CHECKR FROM THE COMPANY INDICATING IN JANUARY 2025 THAT I WAS NO LONGER ON AN EXCLUSION LIST. HOWEVER, THEY WROTE TO THE CLIENT THAT THEY SHOULD CONSIDER I HAVE DONE 3 BACKGROUND CHECKS SINCE JANUARY 2025. CHECKR EACH TIME HAS STATED THE SAME THING THAT I WAS ON THIS LIST. HOWEVER WHEN YOU GO TO THE SITE AND TYPE MY NAME IN TO SEE IF I AM APART OF THE LIST MY NAME DOES NOT APPEAR AS WAS STATED IN THE LETTER BY THE COMPANY ******** WHO TOOK ME OFF THE LIST. WHY IS THIS COMPANY REPORTING WRONG INFORMATION TO HINDER ME FROM OBTAINING CREDIT, EMPLOYMENT, HOUSING, AND ANY OTHER THING THAT WE ARE RIGHTFULLY ENTITLED. THIS COMPANY HAS HINDERED ME SINCE JANUARY 28, 2025. CHECKR IS HAS CAUSED ME TO BE DENIED EMPLOYMENT BY SEVERAL NURSING COMPANIES, BUT MOST RECENTLY WITH CLIPBOARD HEALTH ON SATURDAY JULY 12, 2025. I CONTACTED THEM OF THE ***** AND TO HAVE THEM REMOVE DEROGATORY INFORMATION, BUT THIS WAS NOT DONE. Checkr never went to the site to easily put my name in and it would show that I am not on the list. They continue to be libel for putting wrong information on their site.

      I have been waiting on Checkr to complete a background check on me for **** since June 6, 2025. I have gotten multiple background checks in the past by Checkr and they never took more than 1 day to compete. Now all of a sudden, the background check has been pending for over a month. I have no felony or misdemeanor record. My MVR shows a ticket that I received under conspicuous circumstances that can be classified as a misdemeanor, but that was handled as a minor infraction on my MVR report because it never reported as a criminal conviction on the criminal portion of my background record. Recently, I had some really bad, vindictive people threaten me with the notion that I had a "misdemeanor". I believe **** and Checkr are working collaboratively with these people to force the minor infraction on my record to report as a criminal conviction. They may be contacting court officials to "stir the pot a bit" just to cause problems, instead of just leaving "well enough" alone. There is no other explanation for why something that usually only takes one day, is still pending 37 days later. The other issue worth mentioning is I requestedctgecreportvon june 6, 2025 and waited, made calls, and waited, and then all ogmf a sudden on June 30, 2025 **** canceled my report without reason or explanation, and neither **** nor Checkr even bothered to notify me of the cancellation. I only found out randomly after logging in to the Checkr candidate.portal.

      While most checks complete in 3 to 7 business days, some can take longer. 
      Oftentimes, DMV and the courts have delays and closures. Checkr reviews many databases and county records, and some county courts take longer than others to report data. 

      Please know I completely understand your frustration. We want the report to be completed as quickly as possible as well - and once that's done, you'll be notified.

      I applied for a job. The company hiring me used Checkr to do my background check. In this background check, they stated that I have a felony from 93'. If you look on the Winnebago County Courts website, you can see the case they referenced was a misdemeanor with a fine of $150. Nothing even close to a felony. This has put my job at risk due to their inaccuracy. Their review period can go from 30 to 45 days. This is unacceptable since I have already interviewed and this is the last step before hiring. I tried to get ahold of customer service. ******* John **** kept telling me its being reviewed and 30 days is the timeframe. I asked to escalate with no answer. I may lose my chance at this job because they can't help you.
