    Last month, I made the regrettable decision to purchase a truck device from MOTIVE.COM, lured by the promise of starting my own trucking business. However, my experience quickly soured when I was informed that I could not proceed with the trucking company, rendering the device unnecessary.I immediately contacted MOTIVE.COM to cancel the transaction, only to be met with closed doors. The following day, my request was met with a demand for patience, as I was told to wait for a representative to reach out. This contact came four days later, with the frustrating news that the device had already been shipped, and my order could not be canceled.Despite not having a business or even a truck, I was told in no uncertain terms that I was still responsible for the payment. To add insult to injury, the device was delivered to the wrong address, as evidenced by the *** tracking photo that clearly did not depict my house.My attempts to dispute the transaction and explain my situation were met with indifference. MOTIVE.COM has refused to refund my money and has resorted to daily harassment, threatening my credit and legal action.This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. MOTIVE.COM has demonstrated a complete disregard for customer service, showing no willingness to work with me or understand my predicament. I urge the public to steer clear of this company and its abysmal treatment of customers.

    Before I got the *** device my truck got totaled. I don't even use it. Then I try to cancel it, It told me I have to pay 900 which means I have to pay all of it even I don't use it for one day. It is rediculars. I can not pay for that robbery.

    Last year I inquired about *** service with Motive, i was told by the sales representative *************************** about their program, all wanted was Electronic Logging Device but ***** told me they had a special going on, a package that included dashcam.I asked ***** if I decided i didn't want/needed the dashcam could I remove them from the package and his answer was yes of course you can make changes.I called to remove the dashcam a couple months later i was told i could not remove them but if i paid an additional $840 i could cancel them. this is the first issue with motive obvious they lied/deceived me to increase their profits. The supervisor spoke with was rude and was I toll to keep them otherwise I am out $840.00 to remove them. As of January 9th one of my ***'s has not worked but yet being charged for the monthly service for a broken device. ********************** tech have tried several times to repair the *** remotely but could not, I've asked to replace the broken *** but I am yet to receive one. Again still being charged for non operational *** device. ********************** has deducted 5 monthly payments for service they have not provided and Motive have breached their contract by not providing service they committed too. I've send cancellation emails but my account is still active and monthly fees being deducted.I am writing this complain to minimize other small business to go through what I am going through with Motive. I should be reimburse for 5 months of paid monthly charges for service not provided. Motive contract has a clause to protect both parties.Motive 8.2 Termination for Cause Either Party may terminate these Terms and any applicable Services if (a) the other Party is in material breach of these Terms and fails to cure such material breach within thirty (30) days after receipt of written notice of such material breach, or (b) the other Party ceases its business operations or becomes subject to insolvency proceedings.Could not add the 2nd paragraph. Please advise

    FIND ANYONE ELSE. BEWARE! ZERO STARS. I wish this were an option but it is not. This company's support is horrendous. The truckers like this for usage, but if you need "HELP" or Tech support they will talk circles, ask for your credit card information multiple times, and provide you with zero customer service. ********************** bought out the previous company we worked with and since then it has tanked. They sent us a bill for two years worth of service and then shut us down our dashboard. We requested an invoice and paid it by check. The dashboard stayed down, our truckers couldn't log in, so we called and they said, we don't even accept checks. Well, their invoice says you can pay by check and they cashed the check. When we presented this information they said they will have to "Review This" and get back to us. Two months later... we are still fighting to keep our dashboard active and we are always told, "We will have someone call you back." Guess what, no one calls you back! When you call back they just put you on hold then tell you the person will call you back and they never do. How this company is in operation is a shocking thing but they still are. Going on two months waiting for that call back. Guess they stepped out for a break and just haven't got back to work after two months. Just find anyone else if you can.

    The process started off simple enough dealing with ***************************, we went through giving the information needed such as the headers, descriptions, etc. After calling ***** back twice and after providing all necessary information, there were still areas that had dummy text that wouldn't allow us to edit because of the coding. We attempted to reach ***** again..... Couldn't get through with him left a message with another associate one one week later never heard from *****, sent email MAY 1,2024 no response! Fast forward to today I called again, of course I'm asking him about changing the dummy texts and the layout and he just rambles as he has every call and his explanations basically spins you in a circle leaving you more confused! He got rude with me when I didn't understand exactly what he was say and asked him the same question again, and told me not to be rude! End result is now a live website with dummy text and fake AI generated pictures that we cannot revise because we now don't have access to the coding.

    Motive invoices my company in Canadian dollars and charges the company **** in USD. It was a very painful process to get the money back only to see they have again charged the **** in USD. When I got ahold of customer support he talked in circles and played stupid claiming the money had already been refunded! Worst company ever to deal with!!!!

    ATTENTION!!! THIS COMPANY "Motive" Dose NOT ACCEPT returns! You CANNOT Return the products or Services, that Cannot be used by you due to different reasons. Stay away from them, I will not recommend to anyone to use their service. Now my experience with them.I ordered a eld device and service from them, following day called the insurance, the truck I have ordered the device and service cannot be insured. Tried multiple times to return the device, because it cannot be installed or used. Their policy is You Buy it You Own it. I went out of business asked the Motive Customer Success team to return the devices, cancel the service, and of course you CANNOT do that, the answer I got from them.

    This product is garbage that sort-of works.NOTE:There is NO U.S. based support. So any support you receive will be by telephone, from (sounds like) ******** or *****.Every phone call results in a transfer - every single one.They're ALL using VOIP telephones, so sometimes communication is tough beyond their accent.There is no on-site support regardless of the problem. It's make phone calls, make phone calls, make phone calls.I do NOT recommend the product. They're comparatively inexpensive, and it shows!

    Stay away! There should be a lawsuit against them. They want to charge me $4000 to remove 5 devices that im not using, those trucks are gone. Or keep paying until renewal in 10 months. Just killing small businesses. What a shame this is allowed.
