      Atlassian is allowing spam accounts to run rampant on its services and provides no protection for victims to prevent, or stop, the spam, harassment, and scamming taking place. Anyone can create an account with **********************, and in these cases the spam accounts are allowed to add ANYONE with an email address to a Team within the service. The target of the spam is never asked to accept an invite, or confirm that they even know the account inviting them. Ignoring the fact that this should clearly be an opt-in situation, Atlassian provides no way to opt-out once the email notifications begin. If Atlassian is not going to handle the spam account problem, they should be providing users the ability to report the notifications they receive as abuse. I even took the additional step of creating an Atlassian account in the hopes of stopping these notifications. Atlassian DOES NOT allow a user to leave a team of their own accord. The team creator must be the one to remove them from the team. How is this allowed? What year is it that a company operating a service on the Internet is allowed to be this negligent?
