We were able to locate the customers account using the provided information. Our Try Once Before You Buy program allows customers to try any of our products without upfront payment, making it
easier to discover new favorites. From the day the order is placed, customers have 21 days to fall in love. After that, the payment is automatically processed unless a return or exchange is initiated within that window. The amount the customer saw for $97.95 was a pre-authorization hold. During the trial period, the preauthorization hold can remain in place for an amount of time, (usually between two and five business days) dependent on the bank's policies, but will not be charged the full amount unless the customer decides to keep the product(s) after the trial period ends.
To address the issue, weve canceled the customers trial to prevent further charges. We also noted that an attempt was made to bill the customer for the ******** trial charge on June 10, 2025, but the payment was unsuccessful. As a result, no refund is necessary. The only settled charge is $5.95 which is the shipping fee for the product that was sent and received. As outlined in our terms and conditions, the original shipping fee is non-refundable. Additionally, a return shipping label has been emailed to the customer so the product can be sent back to us.

The website states that if not satisfied, they can ask for a refund within 21 days. She still paid $49 for shipping. My daughter is mentally disabled and on SSI so has limited understanding. However, she did write to them on the 19th day and asked to cancel. They went ahead and billed her another $104.00 stating that she could get her money back if she returned the product minus the shipping, which they would mail her another label and subtract the $49 again from her. So basically, she is still paying $98 for a product that does not work. She can not return it because she obviously took it. I attached her emails, their and mine. On June 4, 2025, I placed an order through the SkinnyFit website for the Super Youth Multi-Collagen Peptides (Peach Mango Flavor) as part of their "Try Before You Buy" promotion, which clearly stated I would only be charged $5.95 for shipping and had 21 days to try the product before being charged the full price if I chose to keep it. During the checkout process, the website had multiple pop-*** and special offers that kept interrupting the flow. At some pointwithout my intention or clear consentan additional product was added to my order: the SkinnyFit Super Youth Gummies Collagen and ****** (Orange Citrus Flavor) priced at approximately $60. I did not select or approve the purchase of this second product.I realized the unintended charge when I received a notification from my bank app. I immediately emailed SkinnyFit on June 4, 2025, asking for the order of the gummies to be canceled. I received an automated response acknowledging my request and stating that I would receive a follow-up within 48 hours. However, as of June 12, 2025, I have received no reply regarding my issue, despite multiple follow-up emails.Meanwhile, I continued receiving unrelated promotional emails and shipping updates. I also called the SkinnyFit customer service number, which claimed to offer 24/7 service. I was stuck in a loop for over 13 minutes hearing a message about high call volume and being encouraged to leave a voicemail. I did leave a voicemail outlining my concerns and emphasizing that I had already sent multiple emails. I have not received a callback.I have documentation and screenshots of my emails and the lack of response. *** also read online that others have experienced similar difficulties with SkinnyFits ordering process and customer service, raising concerns about the companys transparency and reliability.This experience has been frustrating and time-consuming. I ordered the try and buy and they started charging other products. I sent an email to cancel and they said it was to late. I never received the package. I went to the **** and asked them to check into it. They said it was delivered but I never got it. When tracked the package it was in ******, ********. It has been since April. While the subscription rebill product was successfully returned to us, the customer has initiated a chargeback dispute through their bank for the amount of $75.50. Unfortunately, once a chargeback is in progress, we are unable to issue any refunds directly. The outcome of these disputes will be determined by the customer's bank, and if the claims are found valid, the bank will process the corresponding refunds.

Skinny fit Fruit Punch collagen drink was ordered on May 19, 2025, under the try for free for 21 days just pay shipping and handling. I received the product on May 27, 2025. I began using the product and it aggravated my gout and gave me diarrhea. I stopped using it after 4 days. I tried it again a few days later with the same results. On May 9, my credit card was charged $107.96. This timeframe had not allowed me the 21 day try-it trial. I contacted the company via email. I responded to their email and provided the information they requested on June 10. I never heard back from customer service. I called customer service, ****, on June 12 and was told the try-it-for free began on the day the product was ordered and a refund could not issued. How can you try something that you did not receive until a week after requesting the product. My I request for the refund was due to an adverse reaction to the product and it was still within the 21 day trial period due to receiving the product on May 27. I signed up for the 5.95 trial and I have emailed three times because they charged my card three different times. I do not want this product. Company charges fees for no reason continuously after offering free trial. I had to dispute a $107.38 charge with my bank I never agreed to AFTER sending multiple emails and calling multiple times to get my account canceled to no avail. Though my bank was able to refund the money, SkinnyFit took it right back and I now have to get a new debit card and file a new dispute. Trial order date 05/09/25 return must be initiated with 21 day from order date.Per SkinnyFit instructions, I initiated my return on 05/23/25. I left a voicemail with my number for callback, I waited on hold, as did my spouse, for way too much time and I emailed the company to receive a return label, yet never received one.On 05/28/25 I feared the company would consider the mailing date as a return "initiated", therefore I used the address on the saved envelope that shipped to me ********************************************************* responded to my emails as if they had already charged me and were waiting for a return, yet I initiated my return well before the charge debited from my account. My proof of delivery is 06/02/25 and I have sent this proof to the company as requested. On 06/04/25, the debit did occur and the company has stated that they will refund my money when they have proof of return.I have contacted my bank regarding this matter as well with all proof and all email correspondence. Timely and efficient customer service response with a return label would have easily avoided this. SkinnyFit makes it a priority to charge and should assist with customer service and read correspondence to respond effectively rather than using verbiage.
