After reading other one star reviews on Yelp of Eastgate towing, saying they wish they could give ZERO stars, I have to agree.I was in a car accident at the *********** gate, and rushed to the hospital. My car was towed by Eastgate towing. My brother and buddies from base went to get my belongings out of my car, but Eastgate had ransacked everything they could in my car. I had a mid-engine, sports car, with storage under the front hood, and a locked trunk. It was a two-seater, with small storage spaces behind the two seats. Fortunately, with the trunk locked, and Eastgate not able to find my keys, that is the only area that was not ransaked by them. I had S.C.U.B.A. gear under the front hood, as well as wet-suits behind the seats. The seat back tops, touched the back wall, so it was impossible for anything to have "just fallen out", the same goes for the front area under the hood.Eastgate's story was that somehow they didn't take anything, that either things fell out, or other Marines stole these items.Both when my brother and Marine buddies went, and when I went a week later, they could NOT have been more rude, unhelpful and lacked any basic courtesy, to the point that the man we were dealing with was yelling from an upstairs room, and didn't have the decency to come to the downstairs room where the customer counter was.It was difficult enough that I broke my neck, and had a "Halo" bolted into my skull, but worse then to find out that the tow company that was allowed on base turned out to be dishonest, thieves and lacked any decency. They also had exorbitant, daily storage fees, higher than other companies we checked with in the area.I wish they were blacklisted from ever towing on base again.Marines and sailors in the ********* area, be WARNED, they are Dishonest and Thieves! Find a DIFFERENT tow company. Eastgate might as well be named Wastegate, in my opinion.Do yourself a HUGE favor, find a DIFFERENT, HONEST tow company. AVOID Eastgate!!!
