1 starI to ask why there is an extra $7.99 charge on my account, in addition to the regular monthly charge. She stated (10 times because I couldn't understand her through her strong accent) that the extra charge was for searching for a report by using an email. Firstly, I never search with emails, only names and address.Secondly, the person she claims I searched for using their e-mail was for my deceased mother who passed 10 years ago. She said she could see the e-mail at her end that I used. This was a total lie because my mother never had a computer, cell phone or an e-mail. The e-mail she said she was looking at was totally made up. She did refund the xtra service that she said I used, and never ordered, by the way.Review fromDayna B

Instead all you get is a circular advice to try again your LOGIN, or reset your password, or the problem must be on your end. They won't return my payment. I've wasted so much time and energy. 1 starIt's a bait and switch scam. While looking for my own information. It kept giving these ominous loading screens and acting like it's finding things. But in reality, it's just a loading screen coded in. It's not searching anything at all. It eventually said I had criminal reports. When I clicked and bought to see what fake information they had. The criminal notices disappeared and I had a empty profile with nothing interesting. They claimed I had records, but after purchase, had nothing. It's a bait and switch scam. I requested a refund for wrong information and got my money back.Truthfinder

1 starUnethical, disgusting behavior by this company. Wasted 45 minutes of my life answering questions and waiting for their snail-like system to process the answers. This is after signing up for a "free" account and being led to believe that I was going to see the report that I was creating, and all of the "shocking" information it would reveal. Then, they inform me that the membership is $30 per month and no reading reports without it. They know exactly what they are doing and the fact that the BBB gives them an A+ rating without investigating their unethical practices tells me all I need to know about how corrupt and toothless the BBB has become. 1 starTotal scam. Paid for membership to obtain my own report. Was unable to access it after I ordered because it could not verify my identity, even though all of the information I entered was correct and up to date. I kept getting notifications that my report was ready and tried to access through my reports page on my account. It sent me a text and email verification to confirm my identity, only to say we can't verify it. Tried to get a refund because I could not even view the report. **************** was rude and said that they can't refund because I violated their terms of use because I told them I was going to view my report so that I did not have any surprises when applying for an apartment. Said that was for business purposes. So if I view my report for myself, but share it with no one that's a violation of the terms of use.
