1 starThis is a terrible company. You pay a monthly fee even if you only want to search for one or two family members. Then when said you can cancel at anytime, they charge you $14.95 for a "registered letter" to say you cancelled. This is certainly the 1st time I have seen this.

Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email for any orders placed on the site.Customers are able to cancel online from within their account, through our Customer Phone Support, or by sending an email to ******************************** After a thorough investigation, we have determined that no cancellation attempts were made through any of these channels. Additionally, there is no fee associated with canceling a subscription and we do not accept cancelation requests through the US Mail, as stated in our Terms of Use. The charges associated with the payment method in question have been disputed, resulting in a chargeback. When a chargeback occurs, it indicates that the account is in dispute with the financial institution, and the individual should contact the institution directly for any refund requests. The membership was promptly canceled and deactivated, with no additional charges to be incurred. Furthermore, due to the dispute, access to this account will no longer be attainable. 1 starThis is so blatantly a scam, has at least 12 fake loading screens and then makes you wait an extra 4 minutes when it pretends to be done before demanding payment for what it has advertised up to that point as free. They boast an A+ BBB score but all their scores are 1 star. Dont waste your time.Truthfinder

1 starTruthfinder uses some of the worst, most underhanded tactics to get your business that I have ever experienced. It's bait-and-switch agenda digusted me. I felt raped by the time I made it through the search process to find the information I wanted. They lead you to believe the information that they might provide you is free, even though anyone knows it won't be free, step after step, after step for what must be close to one half hour only to add more steps, just to get your personal information until they finally post the prices. Then they have your email. To unsubsidized from their emails there's a new, intentionally confusing process. I would say that Truthfinder would be considered a criminal organization by ethically conscious people.Truthfinder

After 10 minutes of question and answers, there was a fake pop-up stating that found "x" number of records and that you need to pay to access anything. Then the head office never returns or answer call so millions of people who were ripped off can't cancel the bs membership they were signed up for. However,I can't opt out because they use phone numbers and email addresses that are 20 years old to send the information I need to verify my identity. I "reached out" to someone in their support team to get assistance but I have yet to hear from them,Truthfinder
