    On 7/23/25 I received an email from Intuit Quickbooks the following message. "Hello **** ******,This is a follow up to case number *********** sent on 07/17/2025. As of this notification we have not received a response and this information is critical to supporting your account activity. Please respond by 08/16/2025 to avoid any adverse actions on your account. If you have a QuickBooks Online subscription, access your case here. If you don't have a QuickBooks Online subscription, access your case here." I spoke with someone at qucikbooks about updating the address and I sent a utility bill that had the updated address for one of our LLC members **** ***. I received an email on 8/7 that stated the following. "Business Name: Apex Proposal Group Case Number: *********** Hello **** ******,Thank you for providing the requested documentation. We have been able to complete our identity verification process and no further action is required on your behalf, the account has been updated accordingly.Thank you for choosing Intuit Quickbooks for your processing needs. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you and your business.Thank you."I found on that on 9/25 they closed my business checking account ending in 4556 and the only reason they provided was it was a business decision. We have all of our bills that came from that account including paying for Quickbooks, ********* Tools, Company Email, Website, Domain, *****, and other. We have 1 transaction for $1000 on an open invoice that were also waiting to get paid. I spoke with many agents including a manager whose information is below. The money we had in our checking account is gone and all we want is the account back open and the money returned. "********* ********** - Manager Escalation Case Number - *********** Checking to see if they can get the account reopened. Call back after 48 hours if not receive any update."

    QuickBooks Inuit has my payment from a client on hold for almost 3 weeks now I call and they don't do anything they basically get to the gist of it and then start trying to hang up with me. I can't call them "the department" that they say I need to speak to directly and they just say that they're going to call me but they never do. they say somebody accessed my account and changed one of the deposit accounts but they don't it looks like there was only one incident of it happening and I'm not even sure it was what it was or if it was me since it was back in July. it's $3,000 my employee left cause I can't pay them and I struggle to buy food they won't basically eating bread crackers and peanut butter now because I can't get the money. Most recently they are asking me to take my phone and any device I use to login to a computer place to get checked for malware and spyware or whatever which is frankly ridiculous, then there the fact that the resolution page doesn't have a submit button of any kind and I've checked with multiple browsers and it none what ever. I'm losing my business and family

    I received a QuickBooks email stating that theyre closing my business checking account stating that any funds in the account will be mailed to the address on file and when I call to get an explanation, I was on the phone for 7 1/2 hours between QuickBooks and drink that bank which nobody was able to give me an explanation on why my account was closed and nobody was able to give mean explanation or when an expected refund of my business strictly count funds was gonna be in my hands. It was extremely unprofessional extremely frustrating to myself to deal with this, and that company did not provide any source of help.

    I called QuickBooks on 9/2/25 because I could not access the checking account statements for an account I closed 3/2025. I needed the 1099 form for 2024, end of year ***ort and monthly statements. I spent from 4.30pm to 9.15pm speaking to a customer service *** after customer service *** verifying my info at least 4 times per hour and no one had any clue how to help. I was lied to, multiple times the phone line was disconnected. My last conversation was with ****** who wanted to follow up today and assured me that she follows up so she can make sure the problem is fixed. She apparently scheduled a call with someone else who called me at ***** ( time was from ***** to 12) asking me if I was interested in signing up for a product. She knew nothing about the issue. When I told her I need a printout of my statements and will not sign up for any accounts with QuickBooks in a million years she just hung up the phone. Please listen to the conversations. Listen to the incompetent employees. Do I need a court order to be able to print my statements?

    I am a female military veteran with a small business. I noticed that Quickbooks by ****** was trying to charge me $115 for services even though the plan I signed up for was only $11.50. When I called to cancel this subscription, (they dont allow you to cancel it online they force you to call), I spoke with a female representative and she denied the $115 was being charge even though o have email and bank proof, she also refused to cancel the subscription and the account, I asked for her name and location and she refused and kept giving me the run around. Clearly the employees are trying to defraud American companies. The subscription is still active which is FRAUD! ******** requires companies to notify customers before their billing date. They do not. Im so glad I recorded her refusing to cancel it and refusing to give her information. There was someone else on the call, a man, he popped in on the conversation twice.

    I renewed my QB Desk top Pro 2024 until January 2026. With a woman named ***. I paid over $700.00. When I attempted to sign in to my Quick Books it was a read only file!!! I cant get into my book keeping to finish and close it out. I called the number *** gave me and her extension. It has been disconnected! I called a number from the internet! I spoke with ****! He said that she downloaded read only file, and it corrupted the books. I had been hospitalized for months after an accident and was behind. We sold the business. I have no way to retrieve my books from 2024.. He said I would have to pay $1700.00 to get help! I just paid $739.14 to renew ?? I asked **** if I should go back to an earlier back up, he said you can try and hung up on me ?? I have used QB FOR ********************************************* ********** for 16 years. Then 16 years here in ******* running our own Restaurant/****** also for 16 years. I am so disappointed with the treatment I received ??my phone number is ***********. Thank you for hearing me out

    Quick books has been holding $1600 for an account we opened call wet duck pressure washing llc for over 3 weeks. We have sent passport, driver liscense, ******* bills, *** EIN documents. And still they are not releasing our money

    I am a photographer and I understand some of my clients pay using certain things. This particular client wanted to pay using quickbooks so I opened a quickbooks account. Upon doing so, I sent him an invoice and he sent the funds. Quickbooks said since I just opened the account it was going to be reviewed for 5 days. After that, I tried to deposit the funds into my business account. ********************** proceeded to tell me we need to verify you and the transaction. Then they proceeded to have to verify me again. Each verification not leading anywhere or solving anything. It has been 3 weeks and the funds have still been on hold, not been deposited, and now my client has stated he will cancel my services. This now leaves me out $2400 because quickbooks have been verifying me for 3 weeks! Nearly a month! *** now lost a client, funds, business, and they outsource their call center calls to people that dont know whats going on or what they are doing. Have also been told by other agents and supervisors that supervisors cant do anything but listen to your complaint. ******** customer service! ******** business! Horrible!

    Program not compatible with windows 11. Want it fixed and working. Tired of contacting Quickbooks for 4 months and being told sorry there is a problem with product not working. One gentleman attempted to get the problem resolved but was unsuccessful and said he would discuss it with their engineers but never returned calls or made further attempts to fix the issue.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am submitting this formal complaint to request your urgent assistance in resolving a serious matter involving QuickBooks (**********.), which has failed to fulfill a critical service I have relied upon for yearsfiling my monthly payroll tax returns with the IRS.I have been a longstanding customer of ******************** and Intuit, consistently using their monthly tax filing services to ensure timely and accurate IRS compliance. For years, this process was handled without issue. However, in January and February 2025, QuickBooks abruptly failed to file my monthly taxes as expected.What makes this situation even more troubling is that:1.QuickBooks continued to collect the monthly subscription fee for those months, despite failing to provide the core service I was paying ******** a result of this failure, I am now facing serious consequences from the **** including potential seizure of my propertyconsequences that could have been avoided.Therefore, I am asking the BBB to please intervene in this matter and help facilitate:A full explanation and investigation into why QuickBooks failed to file my returns despite collecting subscription ******* least, they should have stopped collecting subscription fees if there are changes to my account or give me the option to cancel or continue with the services if I did not agree with their changes. They worked hard to protect their business financial interests while exposing me to a huge financial loss with the ***. Immediate corrective actions by ****** to mitigate and refund the fees imposed on me by the ****Refund of subscription fees collected for the months in which services were not delivered..Sincerely,******************************************************************** ( business account used to subscribe to Quickbook payroll)
