Transaction ID: ************ Date: 1/29/2024 I used ePlastics.com chat to engage in project with employee from the company, and told them I was interested in purchasing material to make a canopy. We both decided acrylic would be a good choice, so they sent me a link to the direct product page. From there I ordered the material stated at 1/4" thickness. ePlastics also offers precuts (at a charge), so I payed extra and provided detailed cutting instructions which required the material to be 1/4" like the website states. Once I received my package and began to fit the pieces together as expected, the parts did not fit. That is when I noticed the stated thickness of the material was way out of specifications. I immediately emailed the company hoping they would take credit for their mistake, but proceeded to tell me that the material is with tolerance. No where on the product page does it state they have a tolerance of 10% or more, so I had no idea I was making precuts to the material that would not work. I have asked several times for them to refund my purchase because their website is misleading and I was not informed of their material tolerances, and they have refused and ignored my emails until I reached back out again. They finally offered me $25 to make me go away which wouldn't even cover the cost of shipping. I am honestly stunned at how poor of a response I receive from a major company selling products all over the US.
