Sunday January 7, I was browsing lawn care company's in my area to hire for leaf clean up. I have no grass on my lawn- just mulch and lots of trees. The website is a true problem- a trap of sorts the likes of which Ive never seen and I am tech savvy. It requires you to put in lots of info including payment info before getting a quote with statements at the bottom of the page that you will have a quote and other info before paying or joining-NOT TRUE. After going through this rigmarole and choosing a date for service i come to a page that basically says VOILA- your cut is scheduled? I dont want a cut- and I certainly did not choose to sign up for some "3 Cut Minimum" I have NO GRASS! I was backing out of the website and trying to cancel service because the leaf clean up quote was just nuts- WAY TOO EXPENSIVE- and there is no way to cancel. Ive tried to call- the auto customer service also *****. I have emailed. I did the only thing I could manage to do which was "PAUSE YOUR SERVICE". This company is NOT FOOD. They trick you into becoming a subscriber without letting you know that is what you are doing and then charge you this 3-cut minimum- should be and may be illegal. Bad Bad Bad, Lawn Love. Someone keeps charging my account but no one comes out to mow the lawn. The leaves are not raked up and the plants and bushes are not trimmed back and the drive way is not cleaned up and blown off. I called a ***** number and I'm not even sure it's a scam, but they should have the proper cyber security so these things do not happen. Also, we have been paying with a credit card. I was charged for 2 lawn cutting services that were not provided by the ********* Specialist Leray. I reached out to the Lawn love representative and was simply told the services were rendered and that was the end of it. The services are a mere $40 each or $80 total. This value is irrelevant and has not been reimbursed to me appropriately. These were two unauthorized transactions as I never received the services. I work from home, my husband works from home., and my baby sitter is here sun up to Sun down and can attest, these services did not occur. I was even told that the lawn provider advised me to remove my decorations for the Halloween holiday. I am very disappointed and disatisfied with my experience.Business Response

This past week I contacted this business to get a quote for one service however they kept trying to sell me other services and asking about the maintenance on the property even though I expressed it was not my property and I only needed a one time cleanup.After she kept insisting on these things I told her I was no longer interested and they have been harassing me through phone calls and text where Ive blocked the number and they keep calling from other numbers. Hi,I contacted Lawn Love for a service - fall clean up, mowing, and shrub cutting.I agreed to a window of Friday November 10th and Saturday 11th. I never received my services and it is now Monday November 14th. I called to cancel the service since ethe agreed upon date has passed with no service.It took 2 hours to reach anyone and I was told that my service extended to Monday since their contractors don't work weekends. This was not the explained and made no sense when the dates agreed were Friday and Saturday. They also said that I don't have to be home to approve any services and they refuse to cancel my services.I will not be working with a company that has shady practices like this and that does not honor their word. This company is a huge scammer. Once they get your credit card number, they force you into recurring billing and refuse to stop charging you. First off - Lawn Love lied to me when I called for service. I was told that I would have to pay a minimum of $147.60 for 3 cuts, minimum. It is now November, we have snow on the ground in ****, the grass does not need to be cut, and they just billed me a SECOND time for $147.60. I don't even think they know what they are billing me for. I certainly don't. This company is a nightmare!Business Response

In October 2023 I was lied to by Lawn Love. The salesman who took my call promised that I would not be paying for having my grass cut in late October or November. He assured me that the cut would be delayed until the spring, when grass season would be resuming. Instead of honoring that verbal agreement, Lawn Love ignored me and continued to cut the grass that did NOT NEED TO BE CUT. I asked for a QUOTE to trim the bushes. I NEVER authorized that service. Now, Lawn Love says they get to charge me for that. I still don't know what they are trying to bill me for. Best case scenario - Lawn Love is very deceptive and does not respect their customers. Worst case, they lie to people and commit fraud. I really do not have time for this.
I will never have anything to do with this company again and I will never have anything good to say about Lawn Love - ever. Just stay away from me and do NOT call me.

I requested to have my lawn mowed from Lawn Love. They came and took pictures of my grass and quoted me over $160 to mow my lawn due to the long grass fee. I declined the service and did it myself. I was still charged over $30 even though no service was done. Then it scheduled me for monthly service. I cancelled the appointment on the app and it showed on the app that it was cancelled. After it was cancelled, I got an automated text and email that someone was coming to mow the lawn. I had just had a new driveway put in the day before which cost $16,800. There was caution tape over the wet concrete driveway and a construction vehicle parked on the lawn. The app did not work properly and so the service being cancelled was not properly put into their system. The worker, instead of contacting me or taking pictures and leaving, walked their mower all over the wet concrete, and around the construction vehicle leaving MASSIVE DAMAGE ON MY NEW $16.8K DRIVEWAY. I put in a property damage claim (#********) in which they say they are not liable for any of the damage and that only the independent contractor is liable. They should be responsible for damage that their contractors do. When I tried to cancel the service it said I needed to have a 3 mow minimum. When I called to complain they finally cancelled the service. This was the 1st time they had mowed my lawn and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage. Lawn Love committed to providing two separate services. First, a lawn mow on 7/9, which was completed and I paid $166 for. Second, a debris clean up to be provided on 7/14. The crew did not show, however marked that they did. I reached out to Lawn Love and explained they did not show up and they rescheduled. Again, the crew did not show up and marked the job done. I was charged $182. After disputing this in email, they agreed to a partial refund for the clean up service. I did not receive any refund and disputed the charge with my bank. Lawn Love has sense provided fraudulent statements to my bank stating that I am making false statements, that the service was completed and I am not *********** any refunds. They provided misleading photos taken from 7/9 to support their allegations that the clean up service on 7/14 was provided. I have photos clearly dated and showing that the service was never completed. They have already received these photos and continue to provide misleading statements. LawnLove forced service upon me twice without my prior consent. I tried to cancel service 10/03 and 10/10 and was ignored both times. The first time, I was trying to cancel a mow, and I'm not sure what they did as the reason I was attempting to cancel is because my grass isn't growing. Then, on 10/15, they showed up despite me trying to cancel on them twice for a lawn cleanup. I did NOT want them to do this service, as my mother in law and I made plans to spend the day doing this together instead. They are blaming me, but I have proof of several messages going through and the pro ignoring them.Business Response
