      I am compelled to leave a one-star review for Riverside Towing and Recovery due to troubling incidents and non-compliance with ********** towing laws. My vehicle was towed without proper authorization; no documentation included the name, title, signature, address, and phone number of the person authorizing the tow. Furthermore, they denied me access to my personal property within the vehicle until a fee of $605 was paid The signage for the towing company listed incorrect local law enforcement information, and I was not provided with the actual law enforcement contact details, which is required if I believed the tow to be unlawful. It is also worth noting that the parcel map from the *************************************** indicates that my vehicle was parked on public property at the time of the tow.I am filing a small claims case to recover the towing and storage fees, along with damages for conversion, as Riverside Towing and Recovery wrongfully took possession of my vehicle.I have concerns that this company is targeting the ***** community, as the tow took place at a location frequently visited by its members. I have an appointment with a civil rights attorney to discuss the potential for a federal lawsuit.Additionally, Riverside Towing and Recovery's business practices raise serious questions. Their displayed ****** and ** numbers do not match official records, and they are not on the rotation list for local law enforcement towing. Their business appears to operate from a residential location in Riverside, not the commercial lot they use for vehicle storage. I have discovered a video on their social media offering monetary rewards for reporting vehicles parked illegally, which is against the law. Moreover, I have come across an image of their driver with an assault-style rifle next to the tow truck, which is deeply concerning.
