1 starIf I could give a zero I would! Below you will find the email responses I received from them.Settle down if you want our help and stop your baseless accusations..1. We are a manufacturer, you purchased nothing from us.2. We never deliver "used" generators to our retail partners.With those two points firmly established, please forward your purchase receipt and any relevant photos you may have and let's see if we can help you. And As to my lack of professionalism, too bad. All you need to do is be nice. Try it next time. ****** This was in response to my email:I have attached the photos! My "accusations" are not baseless. And I can understand the need to defend yourself, but your response is very unprofessional and disrespectful! If you look at my email, it was never directed towards you personally, how would you feel if you purchased a product for almost $900.00 just to feel duped when you open it! Pictures are attached!This is so unacceptable!! Disrespectful, rude, uncalled for! This is what happens when companies are not held accountable for what they do! Is the consumer not allowed to be baffled when we spend hundreds of dollars and we get junk from the seller. Are we not allowed to reach out and demand they do right by the hundreds we spent!! I will continue reporting this until someone with some sense at pulsar reaches out to us!!! I hope someone who matters reads this and sees what some of their employees do to tarnish their name!! This was the second time buying pulsar brands we were so happy with the first purchase we made so we decided to update/upgrade! ************ attacked ** with baseless accusations. Generators like the one you bought are too big for *** and too small for a full trailer, They ship LTL and occasionally have to cross a dock. That's where we believe you generator got wet. .. on a transfer dock, not at our factory, not here at our warehouse. We offered to replace your generator at once, immediately. ... Around 3 minutes later, a man who identified himself as your husband contacted our service department and he threatened VIOLENCE against our staff. That is outrageous and your behavior is outrageous. 1 starPurchased one on e-bay November of 2023 wouldn't start the screws on the side panel were stripped so i couldn't get to the battery no remote i blamed the seller at first but come to find out if you don't buy a pulsar from one of there approved dealers they will not warranty the machine. I also think its a crying shame that e bay allows these people to advertise these generators as new when they are considered factory seconds by the manufacturer i am very disappointed with both companies there's no purchase protection any more so i am limiting my on line purchases as much as possible so buyer beware of any pulsar product as customer service is non existent like there warranty and parts department as this machine is a piece of c***Pulsar Products Inc

***** - ***** is an auction site completely beyond the reach or control of Pulsar Products. How far do you expect us to extend warranty coverage? .***** - You were helped by ****** back in January. You bought your third-party generator from a vendor called "New Born Spirit"? Who does that? This is like buying a yoga outfit from a Harley *********** What were you thinking??.It turns out that ****** broke company policy for you and he sent you free parts and a shop referral, just to be nice to you *****. Then what did you do? You went right back to **** and you bought a SECOND Pulsar generator from the same online Shaman who sold you the first one. 1 starReceived a generator, did not work out of the box. Paid for a pallet and straps to ship it back. 2nd generator did not work out of the box. They refused to do anything to resolve. Spent $1,000 and never had a working product for 1 second. Absolutely insane and unacceptable.Pulsar Products Inc

I've been waiting for this one! --This ~*****~ cussed out a young lady in our support department late last week, attacking her with sexually suggestive vulgarity. That should be enough said, but I'll provide a bit of background on the behavior of this infant, for the edification of others who may have crossed his path.--The man-child purchased a generator 15 months ago and he left it in the box for 9 months before opening it and discovering and alleged problem. What the child failed to mention in his tantrum is that Pulsar replaced his generator with a new unit immediately. The child received his new, free generator and... he put it away for another six months. Unbelievable. Eventually the child phoned us to report another issue, with another generator.... on a product not know for issues.--Of course by now the child was far out of warranty. Informed of this he became belligerent, profane and foul. Nevertheless we still dispatched a replacement LP regulator and hose in a last ditch hope that the "troubles" were of an etiology other than this petulant person's abject ineptitude. --We tried. Three different ways across 15 months to help this pitiful soul, only to come in on Monday to see his digital graffiti micturated across our reviews. 1 starBought a generator of theirs thinking it was a great value at **** dollars for **** amps. Found out immediately why they are so cheap. Board was bad straight out of the box. Was told to contact their support by retailer. Contacted for the first time 6 weeks ago and the rep explained to me they would have to send me a new board to install myself. I wasnt happy about having to work on a new generator but I was going to change it and still feel ok about my purchase. 3 weeks later I still hadnt received my new board. I contacted them a second time to question where my board was. They told me they were pressing my order to be shipped either that Friday or the following Monday. After 3 more weeks of waiting I was fed up and ready for a refund of my purchase as they clearly sold me a faulty product and still hadnt made it right. Contacted them today and they told me since I never provided proof of purchase (which I was never asked for, only serial number) they had never processed my order. I told them I wanted a refund for my purchase of their faulty product and was told they dont refund purchases only send out parts to repair. This company has terrible customer service that is equal with there cheap generators. Avoid them at all cost. Currently I have a generator with a faulty board that I paid over **** dollars for 6 weeks ago that has never been under. Its a **** dollar paper weight and a ****** learned. Do not buy from these people unless you want a 150 pound paper weight and terrible customer service.Pulsar Products Inc

**** - This is so much ignorance to unpack, I am not sure where to begin. First, ****, you never bought anything from us, we are a manufacturer; we do not take or give money. You purchased your generator from *********** If you want a refund, why not ask the store where you paid money? -- Next, no one forced you to do anything... Generators are large and heavy and often difficult to move. As a COURTESY ONLY, we offer guided self-repair, only if the customer is able and willing to do so. If you aren't willing to do that, then why did you ask for this help?? --- You allege that you received a "faulty product", ... frankly your writing makes very little sense, I suppose you speak in a similar manner which means that our technicians were burdened with finding an effective way to help you. Also, the issue you reported with the generator made no sense and is without precedent--- You proceed to moan about being asked for a proof of purchase, which is a standard thing to ask for in warranty claims, globally. I don't know what to do for you ****, or if you can be helped. Perhaps a friend or a relative can explain these things to you better. -- We'll be here. Until then, I have canceled your parts order that was staged for today, we don't want to create any hardship for you. I suggest you contact your retailer and ask for a refund. 1 starBy far, some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered ! I will avoid this company in the future.I have a Pulsar 15-gallon, 2 HP upright air compressor. When the ON/OFF-Pressure Regulating Switch went bad, I tried calling to order a replacement. Over a period of 4 days, I called numerous times, only to be sent to voice mail every time. Each time, I left my name, telephone number and the part I needed. I NEVER received a return call.Finally, after days of trying, I got someone from Tech. Support on the phone. First, she claimed the company no longer makes compressors. I pointed out that their web site lists at least a half dozen different models. So she put me on hold.When she returned, she asked for my model number. I read her the model number and serial number of my compressor directly from the very clearly printed label on the unit. The individual told me my unit wasn't a Pulsar product because their model numbers begin with a different letter sequence.I told her this compressor is very clearly labeled Pulsar. And that the model and serial numbers are very clearly printed on a tag on the machine. Once again, she put me on hold. When she returned, she again claimed my compressor wasn't a Pulsar product. So I offered to email her a photo of the machine and the model number label. You guessed it - on hold again. And there I stayed for nearly 15 minutes until I got frustrated and hung up. That's probably what she had in mind.This is without a doubt one of the worst companies I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. This Pulsar compressor is going to the metal scrap yard. I'll replace it with a compressor from a trustworthy, reputable company.My advice, avoid Pulsar products at all costs. Dealing with them can only lead to frustration.Pulsar Products Inc

Since you never defined your "Worst customer service" complaint, I'll assume you are simply blowing smoke for the sake of attention. You found it.***** - You kept giving our staff a 'ZJ' number from the motor data tag, this is a factory motor number. Our reps kept trying to redirect your attention to the GIANT LETTERS vertically aligned on the front of the tank which begins with 'PCE'. Apparently you argued, you did not listen, you would not pay attention, you would not accept any help, you just kept banging on about a a "ZJxxxxx" model number, which does not exist except on that data tag that you were fixated on. *****, you have a model # PCE6150.--Do you remember the nasty email you sent to us *****? This is the one where you told us you found the parts you need on Amazon and to cancel your parts order, and you said a few other things too. We got it, we all read it; wow; ok.--*****, contrary to your bitter rhetoric, we are a reputable company, we manufacture for some of the largest brands in the world. But when a customer only wants to argue and be stubborn... well you tend to get put on hold a lot while our staff collaborate on what to do with you. This is universal. --You have declared that you intend to take your Pulsar air compressor to the scrap yard and you further advise to "Avoid Pulsar products at all costs". To the first part, Pulsar encourages you to recycle your unwanted compressor responsibly, or perhaps donate it to someone less stubborn. To the second part, well, bye!Review fromKeith G

I purchased a Pulsar push lawnmower from Home Depot on May 5, 2021. The model number is:

The lawnmower did a great job cutting my grass, even when it was kinda tall and thick. The mower has a 150 cc engine and it had ample power to do the job well.
In May of 2023, the recoil start did not catch every time it was released and pulled. I kept trying until it eventually caught well enough to start the engine. I put up with the process for a couple of weeks, but then decided to call Pulsar customer service on June 23, 2023.
My call was answered by Erika in technical support. Boy, was I surprised, and a smile came across my face, because Erika was so pleasant, and even better, I could understand every word she spoke clearly. The communication between us was GREAT! Thanks, Erika!
I told her my problem and she asked me to send a picture of my mower to her through a text. She was wanting to make sure what she had in stock was the correct replacement for my mower. I told her that my warranty had expired it's two years in May, but she told me she would ship it to me without cost. Wow, I was again surprised. I don't know of very many companies that would honor their products past their warranty period.
I received my replacement item on July 17, 2023, and installed it on July 21, 2023. The process was pretty simple and did not take long to complete. After doing the normal procedures before starting, I pulled the rope one time, and "VOILA"...the mower started right up!
I would like to personally thank Erika for being a perfect example of how customer service should be, and to let her know she is a shining example of Pulsar Products, Inc.

1 starFirst. I've had the generator 3 months and the pull cord broke. You have to disassemble the whole generator to access the cord housing. Bad design, I'll never buy from them again. Although I might have just because of how cheap they are (get what u pay for). The reason I will never buy a Pulsar product again as long as I live is because of how they handled Gregg V (see 5/23/23). First off, the fact that you would've cancelled the order if you could have confirms how bad the customer service is. Second, it took you 2 weeks to respond to his review, for which you awaited, so you could put quoted correspondence from him in your response?! Nothing at all wrong with what he said to you. EVERYTHING wrong with your response. Confirms how unprofessional, indeed, you are. "Demanding, entitled customer.... Horrible man" is what you say about someone who spent money on your garbage product. Unbelievable. No wonder you're so shocked when someone leaves good feedback. I hope Pulsar gets bought out by a company who does things right, or better yet, folds. Garbage company. And it shows right on this very page.Pulsar Products Inc

You referenced a case belonging to a "******". Is that how this works now? When someone gets smacked back for an unfair, nasty, libelous review, they gather their friends to hit us separately. That's sounds a bit like gang activity to me, right here on BBB, who could ever imagine it? Can we look forward to more collusion with more of ******'s friends, or are you his only one? 1 starI would leave a big fat zero if I could. Ordered the machine, started working fine, but then the self-propel wasn't working right. The reason I got a self-propel is because I have some lower back issues. I spent days waiting for them to contact me for a handyman to repair - Pulsar's customer service sucks! I had to email them back asking what the heck is going on, they gave me the steps to return the mower for a new one. They took their sweet time doing that. I was supposed to get my new mower a week and a half ago, but Pulsar didn't ship on time. I'm still not getting it until tomorrow and my lawn is HORRIBLE looking, no thanks to Pulsar. I will never deal with them again. I'll spend the extra money and get a Toro next time.
I dealt with multiple people who were not on the same page and I had to keep explaining myself over and over again. Come on, people!Pulsar Products Inc

The whole process, from beginning to end, was unacceptable. If it would have been shipped on time, it wouldn't be an issue. What ever happened to great customer service? It's long gone....
