    I bought a set of Global knifes for my son for Christmas on 11/1/22. Unknown to me, he had already bought a set himself. When I went to return them, I was told there was not an extended return policy for holiday purchases. I received the knifes in early November - they were in the original packaging and untouched. I kept the receipt with the package and never opened it (which does state that there is a 30-day return policy) The return policy is in the fine print of the website, but nothing is mentioned while placing the order. When I spoke to customer service an explained the situation, she actually laughed and said that this should be a "buyer beware moment" and now "I will know better". I informed her that the return policy only says for a "full refund", and I would accept a partial refund since the knife set was almost $200 nor does the policy distinguish between calendar or business days. She again said there was nothing she could do. When I asked to talk to her supervisor, I was told that she would put the request in but not to expect a call back since nobody will tell me anything different. I do most of my Christmas shopping online and try to get some done early but obviously this company doesn't want to support that concept. I have never had a product not be able to be returned 2 days after Christmas!

    Worst customer service ever. Told me to boil dish washer detergent on stove ten (10) times to clean the pan. Ridiculous. I have owned them for years and a defective pan should be warrantied. Unfortunately two reps who answer the phone REFUSE to get a supervisor or transfer me to corporate. She keeps saying they are busy and will call me on 24 hours. However I work 3 jobs and am not available for their call anytime. I can't leave my job to take a call about a FRYPAN! For a corporation to not have supervisory help is terrible. She then told me I had to boil detergent which vaporizes chemical in the air and made my asthma flare. I told her it's unsafe to vaporize deterrent. Then she denied saying that. Website clearly says to do this!!! She refused to allow me to hold while I waited for supervisor to come. Her name was TIARA. I told her I would put a bad review online for the pan and customer service and no pan should require hours of boiling detergent and any pan that needs that isn't a pan I want. She stated "go ahead". I asked why manager not available after the THIRTY minute call and she said "they have things to do". Then I called back and got ADRIANA. Adriana refused to put me to a supervisor also and I asked for corporate president office. She refused anything saying "it's our policy". I said what policy can you repeat? She said "no". She REFUSED to repeat the policy!! She then hung up on me. I called cuisinart for a pan that was peeling. In 5 min got a new on sent. Do not buy scanpan. The customer service that used to be (I've owned them 25 years and had 1 pan replaced once), and I will never recommend anymore. I am in a Moms group of 6000 or more people. I always recommend Scanpan. I will no longer and actually will share my bad experience since I previously recommended. Shame on Scanpan-open normal business hours and working people don't work. No need for pricey pans that require 10 detergent washings by boiling on the stove TEN times. Supervisor
