BCO misrepresents themselves. They state they are under StudentAid.gov, this is false. They received the first payment of $199, which they told me would go towards paying my student loan and nothing. I was robbed. Ive reported them to numerous agencies TransUnion, StudentAid.gov, FTC, my ******************** Do Not Call Registry, and to my local ****************** They continue to harass and threaten me after I have asked them to stop. BCO Consultants needs to be stopped. They are professional criminals. Id advise all of us to lawyer up and *** these people for misrepresenting themselves and harassment.Review from john L

thank god i ****** their business. i almost got scammed. they need to hire a better scammer. i knew something was fishy when he ask for my debit card number. i dont know how you have my information but i am on the phone with the police right now to report this scam. they will call you and have all your ********** as if they were legit. Then towards the end they ask for your account number or debit card number. ********************* and *******************. Please stop scamming people.Review from Tyler M

This company is a scam. They hook you in with "Student Loan Forgiveness" program eligibility and lead you to think that the payments to them will be going toward your loan balance. THE PAYMENTS DO NOT GO TOWARD YOUR BALANCE. Unfortunately, I have been paying them for months thinking it was bringing my balance down. That was until I got an email from my REAL loan provider saying student loan payments will resume in June with my whole balance remaining. So, they put my loans on forbearance when I thought I was paying toward them, when really in the small print I have been paying for "consulting services" this entire time. I'm out over $1,000 that could've been used to pay down my loans. It is entirely my fault for falling for it and not being 100% thorough when signing up for their program. I will **** it up and take this one as a loss while learning from my own mistakes. But, hopefully, my failure can help you! DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM. BCO CONSULTING SERVICES ARE CON ARTISTS. They have not consulted with me on anything. They seemed like they knew what they were doing when I was talking with them and they had all my student loan data, so I thought they were legit. The federal government already pays for the services that they claim to provide. Save yourself a lot of money and ignore them if they contact you. I thought this company was legit. When they called me, they had all my federal student loan information. They said I would pay ****** the first four months, then after my payment would be **************************************************** 10 years. They pushed me to give my credit card information, which I did. Once I got off the phone with this company I decided to do some.more reading on them, and found out the first **** you pay goes to them, not on your loans. Why would I pay a company that money when I can just do that myself for free. Luckily, I cancelled my card before the first payment was made. They still contact me daily about making my payment. Please be aware, they are not what they seem, and what they offer you can do yourself for free.

I received several emails, including text messages of eligibility for a student loan forgiveness back in May of 2021. I had requested the forms and letter stating that I was actually a candidate for the forgiveness program, including the payment plan which I got the run around. No one to this day, has disclosed who's the company, how they obtained any information, where they are located. To date, I have nothing in writing about the contract, payment plan, letter stating this company is authorize to handle the loan, where the money is going or anything other than pay X amount of dollars for the first 4 months and thereafter X amount for ************************************************** a payment plan and then by September the quote had doubled. When I questioned it, the representative threaten me with saying the amount will continue to increase or disqualify me from the program. It's interesting, I only got phone calls from them regarding payment, particularly, bank information. Late September, I contacted a loan officer and OMG, it was everything I feared. BCO is a SCAM. They are not contracted by any of the organizations listed and contracted by the ***** of ********** The information these representatives quoted me were the most outrageous figures and finding out that the loan figures they said I owed was NOT THE ACTUAL FIGURE, it was all made up, fabricated. They were very convincing and persistent in getting personal information and money.Shame on you!I want my money back but more importantly I WANT MY PERSONAL INFORMATION BACK!!!!!BCO Consulting Services Response

They are a scam!! The services that they offer can be done by yourself. They lie to get you to sign up. I canceled my account and they charged me anyway costing me 5 insufficient funds. They would not reverse the charge for me. I went through h*** with them!! They are a SCAM!!!Review from Angela C

This place is a scam... As the rest of you initially I thought, who couldn't use debt relief especially right now. The representative on the line was very professional and had all of my loan information, emergency contacts, my driver's license number... I continued the call and of course I was approved for a debt relief program, we went over some questions he needed to help fill out the application and as we got to the point he needed my banking information (I don't give that EVER) I thought to look this company up while on the phone if something sounds to good to be true it usually is. I told him I'm not comfortable giving my banking information and I would just make the payments myself but he insisted and said that wasn't how this program worked... I then read him some of the statements here on the BBB site and he immediately got silent and would no longer respond to me... needless to say that was the end of the conversation! This is a complete scam taking advantage of citizens already in a hardship situation... do your homework and stay away from ALL predators!Review from Rafael F

Very unprofessional the status of my student loan has not changed. As a matter of fact my loan has increased with interest
