      I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at ***************** in ********* on 12/6/24, where my $3000 ************* purse was stolen during an event. I had my purse with me at the event, and the only time I took my attention off of it was during the last 30 minutes, when security was ******* off the property, and the event had already gone past midnight. Not 10 minutes after I left the venue, I realized my purse was missing. I immediately returned to the patio table I was last at and asked the staff, but they claimed to have seen nothing. I requested to view the security footage, and was told I would have to call back in the morning. I called Saturday, I spoke with Junior, the manager, who told me that the cameras didnt work. I found this hard to believe, so after some back-and-forth, he directed me to *****. From the start, ***** was dismissive, telling me that while the cameras "do work," she had just learned that she couldnt access the footage. This contradicted what Junior had told me moments earlier. My only goal was to see the footage. On Monday, Junior informed my cousin (who was picking up the deposit) that they could access the footage, but not the last two hours. I called ***** again for a follow-up, and she was unhelpful, stating they still couldnt access any footage for the night. I couldnt understand why I was receiving conflicting information. She promised to escalate the issue to the owner and call me back the next evening. On Wednesday, I called ***** again for an update. This time, she told me that there was no footage at all for that night, and then made an incredibly insensitive remark, suggesting I should have "taken better care of my property." This is not how a venue should treat its clients, especially when renting out a venue is such an expensive investment. I expect professionalism, integrity, and clear communicationnone of which I received.
