I am currently a client if New Life Detox Treatment center. I have completed the 30 day program, however, I am still sitting here at the ********* house on 4th and ****. I am waiting for my flight back home to be purchased once the COSTS of fare go lower in price. I, never, had disclosed to me before making my decision to commit to flying to **********, that once I was at New Life Detox Treatment Center, I was expected to sign an agreement for TRANSPORTATION BENEFITS. This agreement consisted of a paper stating that New Life Detox would not be responsible for paying for my flight home unless I completed 30 days. I would have NEVER agreed to fly so far away from *********** had I known of this **************************************** this expectation, I found out only once I was sitting in the office, dopesick and desperate for some type of relief. This was my first of many experiences of misleading information I found to be repulsive at this facility. I was lead to expect, caring and dedication for and to my sobriety and recovery. There was ONE licensed therapist between 4 female houses. The Doctor visits consisted once a week and lasted only a few minutes at longest. No exams, No tests. The "group sessions" consists of a paper "packet" that is read off in the form of questions. You would be expected to answer these questions, usually without any depth. Depth of our circumstances that lead to addiction was barely embraced by a unlicensed staff member that was usually sober themselves, less than 6 months. One staff member had "years" in recovery but had no certification in leading a "group therapy". There are SO MANY MISLEADING INFORMATION WITH THIS PLACE!! I do not have enough space to list them all here! IF YOU WANT A+ SERVICES, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS CENTER!
