  They are calling from the legal department of stafford and associates and if you tell me like you told the last girl that you never claimed that I have a screenshot of the voicemail and a recording of it sent from my mother. Asking my direct address and I have absolutely no debt! ********

  This company has been calling and harassing me and my son about an unknown debt. The voicemail states that they have questions regarding some of my property located at my current address. I am not sure who or what they want to speak to me about. No company is mentioned about where the so call debt that I owe came from. They also left a case number #******. I would like for them to stop harassing me and my son.

  Stafford contacted me regarding my mother and said they had sent documents in the mail and needed to know if she received them. I told them I wasn't with her but I would let her know. I continued to ask multiple times if my name was associated with anything but they said they couldn't give out information to a third party, when they called me. They would not tell me who the "reference" was who gave them my number. I decided to get on their website and chat with them and the chat agent just left the chat. I just want to make sure my name is clear and if not I need to dispute it because of what my mother did.

  We have reviewed the complaint sent in by the consumer. Our records indicate that we contacted this consumer because their number was left as a reference in the event that we couldn't get in contact with the consumer who owns the account in reference. We do not give out any information to third parties which we advised the consumer of, but they demanded that we tell them. As we had mentioned to the consumer, we only contacted them in attempts to get in touch with the person who the account belongs to. If the consumer has further questions or concerns, they may contact our office directly.

  A representative continuously called my phone and has left voicemails citing a complaint against my property that I need to resolve. However; when I called the county tax appraisal office, I was informed that there were no complaints filed against me nor were there issues concerning my property. When I contacted the Stafford ******************************************* concerning this matter, they presented themselves as a litigation company and not a debt collection company. I advised them to cease and desist from contacting me and that I would be reporting them to the BBB, as well as, file a lawsuit if their harrassment continued. Their address is listed as ************************************************************************************************************* and their phone number is: ************. The person who answers the call will not give his/her full name or employee ID number nor any federal identification number( i.e. EIN) or other pertinent information concerning this company. They will only repeat that they are a litigation company that misleads the caller to believe they are some type of law firm. They seem fraudulent and may be scammers. I do not want any further communication from this organization.

  Never verified debt. Kept asking me for my personal info. After I persisted in asking what the call was for and what was the supposed debt they were calling me about they refused to answer. They kept repeating about sending it to legal. Then proceeded to say they would start calling family members and hung up. I called back to not only get 1 but 4 rude individuals back to back that would not answer any of my questions. Illegal practices at best and they can be sued since I record these phone calls. They also call from multiple numbers and continue to call even when I requested to be taken off the call list which is also illegal.

  Our company has reviewed this matter and unfortunately, we must deny all allegations that are being made by the consumer. Our company is well versed in the ***** and other state and **************** regulations. We absolutely obey and adhere to all collection laws governed by the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, ********************* and the Attorney General. Our records show that we have only attempted to contact the consumer once on 01/10/2024. When we made initial contact with the consumer, they refused to verify their identity which is crucial in order to not give out confidential information to the wrong person. The consumer became unruly thus causing our representative to terminate the call and not reach out to them again. The consumer then called our office back minutes later in which a different representative answered. The consumer was adamant about not verifying who they were and became extremely difficult. The consumer was transferred to a supervisor who was better suited for the situation. Ultimately, we were unable to give the consumer further information due to being unwilling to verify their identity. As of 01/10/2024 this account has been put under a cease and desist queue. If the consumer would like to voluntarily come to a resolution over this matter, they may contact our office at any time. It must be noted, though, that the consumer needs to verify their identity for security purposes in order for our company to advise them of the details to this matter and better assist them.

  They called me on A # that's not listed it was 10 Am to 11 Am Pacific time asking for ***************************...They Announced themselves quickly and were handing me off to multiple individuals which I do not have names Stating I have Complaint filed against me...they asked me if I have received any documents sent to my home in regards to this Complaint against me, I questioned them, they sked for my name and I refuse to give it to them unless they announce the Agency they are with. I was told that I needed to respond or this complaint against me will go to Court......after call attempts I was transferred to a gentleman Named ******.....he explained to me Owed money on something but could not telle in detail what this purchase was I owed money to ***** center on... Instead they told me I owed over 1600$ but still could not give me the item in Question ?or any detail..they wanted to cut A deal with me to receive payment they could not give a discription of iitem I owed money on ..I don't know how they have My Demographic information my Social security number birthdate and my new mobile Number and Email address I called a few times but got passed to different ppl.

  This company is trying to scam people out of money, dont fall for it. They called family members and say they are trying to reach me because I used them as a personal reference and they need to speak to me about a complaint. I also filed a complaint with the **** They need to be stopped
