    Lemne is a p2p lending app. I signed up, was able to borrow $50. I was late repaying it, but it was paid and I have the bank statement that proves and reflects that I paid the exact amount outstanding on the app. This was on November 24, 2023. It is now December 9, I have been trying to contact them regarding the payment, and have not been helped. I message them and they respond with general auto-replies and they have now sent my loan to collections despite it being paid in full in the amount of $73.96. This has now negatively impacted my credit score and I STILL cannot contact them or get somebody to reply to an email (since they don't have a phone number) with something even remotely useful, helpful, or geared toward resolving this issue.

    You must pay a monthly subscription fee to sign up for the service. However, in the months of having this app, they continue to take subscription fee even though the app doesnt work. Reached out several times with no response. Finally got one and the associate said, I cant use the app because they couldnt complete an external verification and there is nothing they can do about it. They were going to continue to take my money without notifying me, I cant use the service. THIS IS FRAUD!!!! *** requested a refund for subscriptions paid and they all of a sudden stopped responding to my chat request on the app.

    Find the order you want to return.

    I downloaded the app and began to set up my account but when you request funds, it asks for your ssn and after multiple attempts at inputting it, it still says that my ssn is linked to another account. I have messaged support via the app and I have emailed back and forth with what seems like automated messages for a thread containing over 12 different messages and my final answer from them was the same as the initial response; that ssns get linked when you set up an account.. etc. but I have never set up any account!! This company cant be reached any other way!! Im wanting my information on what is under my social in this businesss records!!

    Users can only create one account which locks onto your SSN. Unfortunately, for yours and others security, we cannot provide details about any other account created by you which is linked with your SSN. We recommend contacting the local authorities if you think someone is using your SSN.

    This company is a complete scam with generic response. I have emailed over an an over to delete my account an also remove my bank info from your system, I feel they are out to steel peoples info due to the loan requests always saying pending an that u cant cancel it or delete the info from thme

    This is a generic response, the loan request feature has no way to be cancelled, This response even makes me more concerned of this app possibly collecting personal info for a scam ** I have reached out several times to have the account deactivated directly. Even following the steps the claim to be needed there is no options to deactivate account

An according to other reviews it seems hundreds of people have this same exact issue.  I will not allow this to be closed until my account is closed a deleted.

    After arriving at the third and final payment for a loan through lenme, there was an error in payment. Lenme kept giving an error stating that there wasn't enough available funds in the connected bank account. I checked with my bank and there were more than enough available funds.It may have been a function of needing to re-connect the bank, I'm not sure but there was no way to figure it out because they do not respond to their online chat support. I have records of trying to connect with them numerous times with no response. When you click on the connected account there are no options to do anything with it.Once they responded to an email, asking for more information. I provided a screenshot of the error and asked for a method by which I could make the payment. They have not responded to this email even after several follow *** and now the loan says it will be going to collections even though I have the means to pay it.Lenme has awful customer service to the point of preventing payment and this could have a negative impact on a credit score. Do not under any circumstance conduct business with Lenme if you do not wish to have your credit score impacted.

    About a year ago I signed up for this app but for some reason it never worked I was never able to fully set up my account. Back in June the app started working for me and I was able to create my profile. But when asked to enter my ssn it said my ssn was tied to an account. After reaching out for help multiple times I kept getting the same auto generated response. No body will help me and I believe someone at the company stole my ssn or somebody is using it and they wont tell me who. *** contacted my state police for the criminal part but I need the BBB to know what this Lenme company is doing.

    In early April, I applied for a loan and was approved for a small amount of ****** including the interest. The bank account I originally linked to pay this back was closed. Today, I have asked no less than 3 times to be able to make a manual payment out of my good bank account and/or be able to change the bank account on file. This company keeps telling me I can not change it in the app and does not give me another option except to default on the loan. I am trying to remedy this issue but Lenme is forcing me to pay extra fees and eventually get sent to collections. I would like to pay my loan back and Lenme is not allowing it in order to just get money out of me. I would like Lenme to respond with an actual resolution instead of just closing my support tickets out.

    They charge $10 a month to get a loan, you have to request a loan and once you do, you can't cancel said request until you get an offer. I paid for multiple months and didn't receive a single offer for a loan, which wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact I can't cancel my request OR delete my account while I have an open request(WHICH I CANT CANCEL UNTIL I GET AN OFFER). It's a total scam and just doesn't make any sense. Can't cancel or delete account until I get an offer which never comes. Such predatory and scummy behavior. PLEASE SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN

    I did a cash advance with this company for approximately $40/$50. I had and still have financial difficulties as a college student. I contacted the company pay them back but they said the balance is now $342.20 because of fees. This equates to 7/8 times the original amount. Isn't there usury laws against this? I wanted to settle for $100 but they refuse. I am a college student and cannot afford the excess fees. I asked for options but will not budge on amount owed.

    I took out a loan in 2020 and it was sent to collections, ******** ****** of Collections to be exact. I paid off the collection debt in March of 2021. Recently I have been receiving emails from LenMe telling me I owe them and will be sent to collections if I do not pay. I was already sent to collections and the debt was paid, so how are you trying to come after me again?? I previously emailed the company and was told that the debt was settled.
