I was contracted to do 2 jobs on Aug 9th 2023, job totaled 600$. I completed both jobs to customer satisfaction and with project managers approval. I filed my paperwork on time for payroll and was told I would receive my check by Friday the 18th of august. it is 9/7/23 and I have not received any payment and have been told accounting has sent my check multiple times but to never receive it. I entered into a contract with Green Home Systems in March of this year for a rooftop solar system for my house in ***** (*****************************************************). The planning, permitting and installing took place over several months, with payments at specified intervals. The final payment was made when installation was complete, for a total of $36,000. Installation was completed by the end of June of this year, and the system was up and running after the required inspections. Up to this point Green Home Systems was helpful and responsive in facilitating the whole process. However, in mid-August I had problems with the app that shows the system's energy production, and my calls and emails to GHS were not answered or returned. I did get help with my app from the installer (Atlas Technologies, *******, *****), but during that process I was told on the phone by *************************** that his company had not yet been paid for the installing of my system. I made more calls and emails to Green Home Systems, but again with no response. On Sep 1 I received a "Notice of Claim for Unpaid Labor or Materials" demanding payment from Green Home Systems for the claim amount, $8071.20. I again have called Green Home Systems, left messages, and have heard nothing from them. I am very concerned, to say the least. The installer needs to be paid, as the work was done and done well.Business Response

I've had problems with this inverter with communication errors and I've had to contact customer support several time and spoke with ***************************. Numerous times I would just get a copy and paste email saying I need to purchase a 5G cell kit for the inverter and I bought it and had to install it myself now the other inverter is not communicating. Called customer support several times and can never get anyone to pick up the phone or return phone calls.Business Response

Signed my contract over a year ago. Still have no connected system. I never get a call back from anyone at the company. The last time I heard from anybody was a month ago now and I found out since then. That after I signed my contract, they knew that they could not get a permit to execute my system and continue to take my money anyway.Business Response

On 2/17/23 I signed a contract with Green home system to provide a solar system. As stated in the contract GHS is responsible for providing all labor and materials, including, including the ** modules, inverters, and monitoring equipment. Contractor is responsible for a typical solar system, including, racking equipment, mounting rails, standoff and flashing and electrical accessories, machinery, tools, transportation, project administration and other services and items typically required to complete and deliver a solar energy system to a property.After over six months I still have no power. I have gone through 3 project managers who have left the company and now dont even have a project manager assigned to me. After emails and phone messages to the company I finally received a call from a senior manager on 8/25/23 who informed me that the project will not be completed until the electrical contractor they hired completes a final checklist that La ************** requires before the system is approved. The electrical contractor informed me they will not complete the project and would not say anything else due to potential legal steps being taken in this matter. These simple steps for startup include installing a production meter and proof that the state electrical inspector has approved the system which I have already provided. Also provide proof that La **************s inverter settings have been programmed into the inverter and they need a signed by myself and the installer Certificate of Completion.I have been in contact with the electrical contractor they hired who refuses to complete the job for Green Home Systems.I have paid the full contract amount to Green Home Systems as requested.Green home systems should hire another Preferred Installer immediately to complete the final scope of work to satisfy the requirements for a final inspection from La **************.I have satisfied all my contract obligations and expect Green Home Systems to do the same.Business Response

This is simply more stalling by this company to delay the installation and startup of my solar system that is fully paid for. I continue to lose money on electricity that should have been provided months ago. They have no concrete plan to send a qualified electrician immediately to complete the simple installation of a required meter. Their explanation of someone being on vacation so the company couldnt contact me shows me they really are not ready to complete the project, and shows they dont care about their customer and are deliberately delaying the project until they settle with the electrical contractor that they hired. That is not my problem and I shouldnt be held as a **** in their ongoing contractor problems. Im afraid they are just buying more time and I will not even get a response for more weeks. This is obviously more stalling by the company as I said in my previous response. This complaint communication with the BBB started August 21 so we are now another month into this exercise. A person is on vacation, that is no excuse to not complete this project. Now we will wait another couple of weeks to get their next response. They should hire an electrician immediately and finish their job.
Green home should pay our electric bill starting in September. They should pay me money to hire my own electrician if they continue to refuse to honor their contract. I should not be treated this way as I paid them all the money in the contract, over $24000.

A Resolution to the problem would for me to hire an electrician to finish the installation and the company pays no more than $1500 and I pay anything over that amount out of my own pocket to get the system up and running.

I have been charged an extra $4,000 rafter supports that were not needed nor were installed in my house- I was told by the company that had made a mistake and thought I was a different house, and actually did not need the rafter supports. However, in the mean time, the company amended the original loan to add an additional $4,000 to pay for the cost of the rafter supports. After everyone realized it was a mistake, I asked if I could have the loan changed back to the original amount without the cost of the rafter supports. They told me the loan couldnt be amended back to the original amount but that the company would send me a check to reimburse this amount. Five months later I have not received this, and have not been able to get ahold of anyone from the company, including the project manager, the original person that put my loan together, two different customer service numbers, and someone that followed up with me in July about my experience. I have left messages/emails for everyone. I am starting to feel like the company is ************* on not reimbursing the amount and instead, effectively steeling this money from me. If I do not hear back from anyone, my next step is to contact a lawyer, along with the attorney generals office. I understand that mistakes are made- that isnt the problem- the problem is in how this mistake is not being rectified. It has been five months since this mistake was made, and should have been rectified by now.Business Response

Our ********* battery that was installed May 2022 along with my Solar panel system has been unresponsive since April 14, 2023. On 4/23/23, I reported the issue to our original Project Manager who quickly forwarded my issue onto the **************************** As of 8/23/23, four months later, no one has been out to service my battery, nor have I received confirmation of when someone will be out. Over the course of the four months, I've made eleven contacts with GHS and received four separate communications my issue would be resolved. I feel GHS does not stay committed to following up on their service requests. I received a call on 8/25 from GHS that someone would be out on 8/28 to service my battery. No one showed and when I called GHS **************** back at the end of the day on 8/28, I was told they were trying to get a local solar company out to service my unit and that they would check into it and follow up with me. I have yet to receive service or a return call to keep me informed as to the progress. I still feel like Im getting the run around. If GHS needs to rely on other companies to service the units they install, they should find reliable and reputable companies and at the most stay on top of their customer service calls as this is a direct reflection on their company. We performed work on several Green Home System projects and have not been paid. We've talked to several people including Rain, who from our understanding is over everything. He has promised payments everytime we've managed to get him on the phone but never pays. Customer relations reached out a few weeks ago after we put a review up. She was able to find some of the amounts owed. Stated she was going to see about getting the ones she found paid. A week later we tried to contact her via email and we were blocked from emailing her. They are crooks who try to work you to death and when it comes to paying they don't.Business Response

I have previously backed out of a deal for solar panels installed on my roof. I was within the three day period when I requested my desire to cancel the deal. They became very aggressive suggesting that there is such a thing as "good" debt versus bad debt. The salesman further suggested I was racist for calling him "boy" when I have never seen this person so I have no idea what color he is. I was calling him BOY because he was acting like a total child to me having a **** temper tantrum because he lost the deal. Further more my mother taught TMH ***** children in the inner *************** ********, because these children needed her and it was her calling. I am in NO WAY RACIST! I have previously asked this company never to contact me again, but I was called today, August 15th, 2023, at 8:20 AM MDT from ************. I told this man that called today that if they call again I will be filling charges against them for constant harassment.
