      I created 3 kids accounts and after seeing the *** resigned, receiving an email in error that my account was being closed, and searching other reviews I decided this company wasnt a good fit or trustworthy for investing. On Nov 15 I closed all 3 accounts. I was given an estimated withdraw date of 12/14/2023. After reaching out myself to be sure my funds would be back in the account on that date, I was given the run around that my bank needed to be re-verified or re-linked. I was never notified of this until reaching out and Inquiring myself. In checking my app, my bank was still linked. When I finally got an agent on the phone she stated that I was originally having the money transferred with one account and at some point linked another bank account and had the money withdrawing from there and that in order to get my funds back I needed to relink the original bank account I used or send a bank statement for the current account for verification. I opted to send a bank statement to verify my account. Ive sent many emails and messages and have called a couple times in the last couple days, and I have received responses here and there, but no ETA of when my funds will be back in my bank account. Also, after closing the accounts I was still billed the subscription fee for the app.

      The client's funds were sent to her linked bank account on 12/14/23 on the estimated withdrawal date that we had provided to the client.  The total amount sent for the 3 children was $618.67. Child 1: $179.51. Child 2 $$178.85 and Child 3: $260.25.  As per compliance policies, the client was asked to provide a recent bank statement as a different bank had been linked one month prior to UNest receiving the cancellation request.  Once the statement was received, the funds were sent to the linked bank account.  A new email has been sent to the client (1/23/24) confirming that the funds were sent on 12/14/23 and asking the client to confirm receipt.  As a courtesy, UNest will reimburse the last subscription of $4.99.

      I opened accounts for both of my sons trusting that when the day came I would be able to withdraw their funds in a timely manner. I initiated a withdrawal in mid July with an expected withdrawal date and funding by 8/1 and this company has given me nothing but the run around! They keep pushing the date further back for me to receive my funds and at this point I want ALL accounts closed and refunded back to my account immediately. This is terrible what they are doing with peoples money! They said they sent the funds on Monday 7/31 and I have not received any of my sons money and his tuition is now late because we have not received the money to pay it! We will be starting the process to take legal action if we do not receive the funds by today, 8/2. This company is SCAMMING people out their money!!!

      There was a slight delay with the customer's withdrawal due to a recent bank change made on the account which required further verification due to security and compliance reasons. The funds were disbursed to the customer on 8/1/23 and we provided a screenshot of this transaction to the customer on 8/2/23. The issue has been resolved and have not heard back from the customer since.

      I opened this account to save money for my daughter and have been disappointed with the service for a couple months. I now need the money returned to pay for my daughter's school supplies as the school year is almost over and she has events for school that need to be taken care of. I withdrew all the funds in the beginning of March. I don't have the email still but in the attached screenshots they acknowledged that I did. I was supposed to have the money in my bank account 4/12. Which they acknowledged. I downloaded the app again to check the status and then had to withdraw again because they failed purposely or not to close the account and send me the funds. I shouldnt have to chase this company for my money. In the attached emails you can see they acknowledged, apologized and said they would take care of this yesterday. Still not return, no response, and the account is still open and showing the same amount. This company is a nightmare to use and I will be taking my future savings goals elsewhere. I just want the money in my account returned, but am being given the run around. Based on other reviews I am seeing this is common practice for this company.

      We communicated to this client on 4/13/23 that his funds were disbursed on that date and sent to his linked bank account on file within 1-3 business days from that date.

      I opened an account with them for my child After depositing $50 ($25 twice) and seeing that for many days it was not reflected on the account, then I started considering their credibility. Then I did a deep internet search about UNest and I found out the company hasn't even been around long enough to be reputable I decided to close out the acct The App will say account closed and refund will process in 10 days. 10 days later, still not closed. After multiple attempts, I emailed They said account closed but will refund in 10-15 days or so. Even offered some discount. It's been months and no refund and no closure. But at least no charges but the $50 which the company has sent at least 6 emails about how they will refund it someday It's a sh*t show

After receiving required documentation and approval from the customer to proceed with withdrawing funds via check on August 23rd, a check was issued on August 26th and mailed to the customer, and the account has since been closed.

      I have been using UNest for the past 10 months and I want to find a better way to save money for my children for their college education but on the app that UNest has there is no way to go in and cancel the recurring charge on my account. I have tried writing the company from my UNest account and leaving my information for a representative to contact me and I have also tied leaving a message on the phone, with no response as of yet. The company does provide a customer service number but they don't provide any live representatives on the phone to speak with so that you can have your issues addressed. I need the assistance of the BBB to help me to cancel the agreement with this company because I no longer wish to do business with them

Also tried calling UNest from the number that was provided and no one ever got back to me about this matter until the Better Business Bureau contacted them. I will never so business with this company again

      On X-XX-XX I received a welcome email from UNest and I immediately contacted them to inform them that I did not open and account and it was fraudulent. When I called I had to leave a voicemail. A woman called back and left a voicemail saying it would be taken care of. It was never closed so I started communicating via email only, and those are attached. As of today, June 26th the account is still open and my information has not been erased from their system as promised. I believe the "****************" people are the scammers. I need all of my information erased from their system and that account closed down.

The customer has been reached out to and UNest has explained that they are a regulated entity and have to abide by record keeping laws. UNest has provided the customer links to both the SEC and FINRA websites with detailed information on why their information cannot be deleted at this time. Customer was reassured the safety of their information is very important and their information will not be used for any other purposes.

      I opened a trust account for my granddaughter ******** in early April with payment from PayPal in the amount of $50 per month beginning on April 6. The money was taken out of my account and sent to UNest but never deposited into her account. On May 6 the same thing happened. I have tried calling and emailing and sending messages but nothing has happened to correct this situation. They did give me a $25 credit for my trouble but my money is still not in the account.

      I am trying to close out my children's accounts and get my money refunded to me, they have yet to respond to the emails and voice mails I have left them trying to understand why it's taking way more than 10 to 15 business days to close out my accounts and refund me! They sent me ONE email asking basically me to reconsider closing the account and that they can "review other options" with me if I contact them, but I responded to them stating I just want to close out my accounts, no response back so far. When you call their number, they don't pick up and they don't call back! I'm getting worried at this point, I have requested that they close my account at least 3 times via the app and as of now, they're still open and I have no way of stopping deposits or payments for this app! I think this company is scamming people! You'll have no issues opening accounts, funding them, customer service even responses if you have issues... But as soon as you go to close the accounts because you want to use another investment company, you're ignored and money not returned to you. I'm fed up and I'm considering legal action at this point. Please, can you reach out to them to help me resolve this?!

On 04/20/22 the customer reached out again and was followed up with on 4/23/22. The follow up confirmed that the account was closed and funds were received on 5/2/22.

      I have opened 3 accounts for each of my 3 children earlier this year. But I have decided to close these accounts and withdraw all the money I have deposited by then. On 2021/7/20, UNEST emailed me to confirm my withdraw. On 2021/8/3, UNEST emailed to confirm my account cancellations. I have yet to receive my deposit made to those 3 accounts which they said they will be deposited back to my bank account. They said the process may take up to 10-14 business days which was stated on 2021/8/3 email which was the last email I have ever received from them. I have emailed multiple times since then and got no response and no money has been deposited back to my bank acount either.

      Company is not closing my account out as I requested multiple times through email and still taking money out of bank account. I was informed that the account would be closed but a week later more money was withdrawn from my account and it is still open. Since the first response I have gotten no response from UNest and the account is still open with additional money scheduled to be withdrawn. Today 8/28 I noticed that this company took an additional money out of my bank account to fund the account that I requested at least 3 different times through email to be permanently closed.
