    I filed my taxes with TurboTax online. They charged me approximately $85 for services that were never rendered. They were not able to file my taxes because of a discrepancy on verification of my adjusted gross income. Long story made short I have to have my taxes done elsewhere. And they absolutely refuse to refund any of my money. My advice if TurboTax wants your money use someone else.

    Deceptive pricing practices, charging for the software, requiring payment to continue on a state return and only to be charged at the end again for another state return. Zero transparency with ultimate cost of the service until they hold your filing hostage at the end.

    They hide some of the options and don't show the cheaper ones so that you end up paying more than you want for services you don't need. It feels like forced sales and should be prohibited.

    My income tax refund was supposed to be $1346.00, which was the amount approved by the **** Once my refund was direct deposited, it was short by $458, allegedly due to a 3rd party banking system by the name of TPG Products, and this was their fee. This information was not disclosed to me prior to filing my taxes. I agreed to pay $117 to utilize their services, I did not agree to paying $458 to a 3rd party bank to process my direct deposit. After several years with Turbo Tax, I am very disappointed and will never use their services again.

    I had a simple tax return for federal and state and my federal taxes should have been free or under $30. Yet when I got to the end of filing my taxes on TurboTax it forced me to upgrade to their "delux edition" for a grand total of $138. This is a con job by them and I'll never file through TurboTax again.

    Please be aware of the misleading scam at the end of filing your taxes on TurboTax where you are given the option to get your "refund 5 days faster" by using Credit Karma. If you click "yes", you basically create a Credit Karma account without knowing it and cannot use your own bank account information for the refund. Instead, the Credit Karma account is given to the *** for refund purposes. This process/outcome is NOT disclosed anywhere except the fine print (which was corroborated by a TurboTax supervisor with whom I discussed by concern). She (the TurboTax resolution specialist) confirmed that it's been misleading and confusing and that she wishes it was made more clear to the costumer that they would actually be signing up for a Credit Karma account by choosing this option. The only solution now that my taxes have been accepted by the ***, is to wait for my "advance" (aka my refund) and then transfer this to my own bank account, then shut down the Credit Karma account. I will also be filing a BBB complain with Credit Karma.

    Advertisement says many times that taxes will be done for free, I had no income and they tried to charge me $89, thanks for nothing
