Awful business and customer service. I was charged a fee for a client paying an invoice online, something I specifically did NOT agree to, yet Quickbooks charged me anyways. In trying to get a refund from Quickbooks, I have been re-routed and told after 2 hours of looking into it that I would receive the refund, yet when I called 2 weeks later no one knew what I was talking about. I've now been on hold for almost an hour with no response, and they would not give me a direct number to call so I didn't have to be transferred multiple times if this happened again. It seems that they purposefully make getting a refund as difficult as possible so people will just give up. Absolutely appalling company to deal with.

Extremely aggressive sales team. I was genuinely interested in using their product for my business for accounting purposes. I started out in the chat, but then while were in chat they start CALLING me. I was just looking for the right product is all. Then I got off chat because I had to go. Then came the countless emails an 27 missed calls in TWO days!!!! They literally pushed me right out the door with their sales "tactics" and I am so glad I didn't work with them after reading all of these other reviews. They're definitely DOING THINGS WRONG. I don't like the feeling of being chased or harassed and that is exactly what they did.

Intuit turned on merchant processing in my clients file, took a $4000 payment from one of their customers and has held onto that month for FOUR MONTHS! Refusing at every corner to return the funds to their rightful owner, which is steeling! At some point they started saying the operating officer needed to verify his identity, so they decided to shut the payroll processing down for the company until they got this verification.... They got it and now 2 weeks later the client still does not have their $4K, they still cannot process payroll and have wasted hours and hours of my time. This is a pretty bad way to conduct business to say they least.

I bought QuickBooks for the sole purpose of invoicing my four tenants once a month. There are two payments of about $10,000 per month and two for about $2,500 a month for a total of about $25,000 per month. When I bought the program I saw advertised that there was a flat fee of $10 per transaction which would have been $40 per month. After billing I saw that they charged 1% so I ended up paying $250 in fees. I called to try to get on the fee basis but was told that I would have to wait with certain conditions being met and then after three months of meeting these conditions I could request a "review". I would end up paying $750 in reviews but this was unacceptable so I am now have another company who will provide the same services for a low fix fee amount. I told the QuickBooks customer service that they should have disclosed all of the details before my signing up. Very low transparency and I would not recommend using QuickBooks for ACH payments.

Intuit is committing fraud and I can prove it. On March 2025 I filed my taxes and used their Credit Karma account to expedite my return. However, I never got a return and when I called and asked, they said it was sent to the incorrect account and that it would be coming in the mail instead. It never came in the mail and so I filed an IRS form 3911. In the mean time, Intuit has been holding onto my return, as well as countless others Im sure, in order to boost their quarterly numbers. Bad business gaining at others expense. Avoid at all costs! *** needs to look into this.

I have been an INTUIT client for *********************************************** customer services. They have lost our order without providing any assistance to our company. Their overseas call centers agents are the worst ones I ever experienced as a client of a company. Our company is been harm due to INTUIT negligence and they don't even respond the emails. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM INTUIT. Our company deals with hundreds of suppliers daily and we never had such a bad experience and not obtaining any customer service at all. If you have a company, don't select. Please don't use INTUIT for anything because if INTUIT does what they have don't to us as a 10 year loyal client, they will treat you and your company in a worst level than us. SAY NO TO INTUIT.

Hello, On 21st August 2025, Intuit, "QuickBooks", sent a request for me to provide a letter from my bank to confirm I have removed the ****************** Pay Debit Block Feature for QuickBooks, to allow unlimited debits. About a week later, on August 29th, I sent the letter via email to QuickBooks from **********. Then I called a few weeks later and asked how to send the letter correctly, as I had noticed no difference in notifications on the website. I was sent the wrong email to respond to again, but I did not know it. More weeks go by. Fast forward a few weeks, im doing books, and Intuit has 13k of my money. They said, "payment failed", "was not deducted from your account." The money was deducted but not sent to the vendor. So, after another 30 minutes on the phone today, I finally got the correct link. I am told, "Yes, Intuit has the money, 13k". "We can not give a timeline to review the letter, we can not give an average time it takes for a letter to be reviewed". "It takes an average of five business days after the letter is reviewed to refund the money that was taken." My issues: The process to get the letter back to Intuit took three phone calls, over a month, and I had to say, "im was going to call the State of Michigan", for Intuit to send the correct email to direct the letter to the right inbox. This took 4-5 weeks. All the time they have my money, the website says it was not taken out of my account. The next issue is that they should be able to tell me how many days to review the letter. They have had the money for over a month already. Zero notification, actually misinformation when logging in. Intuit wasted its customers' time and refused to compensate them for the inconvenience. If the money Intuit takes from its customers like this was in a non-interest-bearing account, I find it hard to believe that it would be so hard to get back.

I have been on the phone since 9/19/25 trying to resolve an issue with a payment a client made, and QuickBooks put a hold on it and refuses to release it into our account. You cannot get any help; they are incompetent and talk in circles.

I purchased quicken 2017 to use as a stand alone product and intuit has change its policy to require a monthly subscription. The product currently does not work unless I start a subscription. I paid for a stand alone product and should be able to continue using it as such.
