    I made several seller support purchases from a seller on whatnot that goes by ************** during the live stream prior to making my purchases the seller **************** said verbally that every game sent in their seller support purchases would equal in value to the purchase price many of my purchases were for ** dollars plus fees the games I got were all well below 10 dollars and the game I received for a ** dollar purchase is sold on eBay for the same game and condition for 39 dollars most games were valued around 5 dollars per price charting listings I reached out to the seller and was blocked from being able to message them I reached out to whatnot and whatnot is allowing the seller to breech the contract by stating the seller sent games even though they did not meet the value for the purchase price like the seller guaranteed during the live stream and refuses to return my money or to send me games worth the price I paid and honoring the guarantee giving to me which is why I made the purchases because I was guaranteed to get a game worth what I paid I did not get that and even got a few games that were damaged and beyond repair I want my mo ey back or the value that I paid for

    Where to begin.. On 11/28 and 29/2022 I purchased almost ***** in ************** from seller *********** in two different live auction streams, On 12/5/2022 I received a package which contained an ***** ***************** DVD. I immediatley reached out to the seller and Whatnot asking for refunds. I have sent almost daily emails to their "Trust and Safety" department as well as the support platform and have yet to receive a valid response or refunds of these fraudulent transactions! I have provided multiple times all the requested information and now just get ignored. They are holding my money as they are the ones who charged my credit card yet fail to refund me even though all other buyers from this fraudulent seller have been refunded already. I am a very unhappy and more to the point ****** off user of this platform.

    I was approved as a seller at the beginning of September, and started doing live sales. WhatNot had a $200 referral program for members bringing on new sellers. Some sellers have made thousands of dollars by referring other buyers and sellers. I started talking to my friend and neighbor about my WhatNot auctions and she used my link to sign up. Per WhatNot guidelines, I was to receive my referral credit once she completed her first sale/transaction. This is on WhatNot's website. After several weeks, I sent an inquiry as to when I would receive my credit. They later informed me that my friend **** must not have used my link. I have proof of my sending the link to her, and of her confirmation that she followed my link yet WhatNot refuses to honor this referral and says they have no record of my link ever being used. In the meantime the big sellers making thousands of dollars for WhatNot are being provided boxes of Lululemon belt bags to give away. While us smaller sellers have difficulty getting ten people to come in for a live sale. This is wrong, and I'm reaching out to the BBB finally, after several attempts to resolve this as a part *********************.

    I emailed WhatNot per their response above. They first emailed back for my user name and then the user name of the person I referred as a seller. I have not heard back since then. My friend **** had another show today with more sales. She literally lives a mile from me and is a good friend. This is not fair to either one of us and not an ethical business practice when other big time resellers are selling out each show and making thousands, I'm lucky to get ten people in a show. I'm a mom and grandma and just want to be treated fairly.

    I'm just so sad that I have to go through all of this. I'm 53 and the main breadwinner for my family. My husband is a disabled vet with a reconstructed back of titanium and service connected PTSD.

    It's just not right. Please add the $200 credit to my account asap.

    I received the same response I did before my complaint was filed, which is unacceptable. The company gave me a referral code, which I proved was provided to my friend. She has advised repeatedly of following my link to enroll. She even followed up while her request to join was pending. This company has paid thousands of dollars to big resellers. And people like me are treated so poorly.

    I do not accept the offer of zero/zilch. It is unethical and dishonest of the company to advertise this and not follow through.

    I love to support my friends on the app, but I'm disheartened by my person treatment.

    As a seller on the platform. I was notified of a complaint of harrassment. Asked to see the evidence of the claim, the evidence was an altered text message thread between me and gamergalaxy over personal differences. The thread had been altered to only show my responses and did not include anything she had said. I attempted to file the same claim after turning over the actual message thread showing both our responses, as well as call logs where she had called me numerous of times without me answering that day. Well after investigating, they determined i was worthy of a warning and nothing was done to gamergalaxy. My father than was admitted to the hospital despite his best efforts, ended up passing in the hospital. So the day of his funeral, i was greeted with another email that a complaint of harrassment was being filed again against me, and that i was being blocked. I had made no contact what so ever with the alleged "victim" and demanded to see the evidence brought fourth. No evidence provided, because none exists. And rather than remove my account that contains my paypal and credit card info, the account exists and i am permanently blocked from ever accessing it. Whatnot, and there teams of scummy sellers like gamergalaxy are a disgrace

    No i am not satisfied. So basically in there response, they still can not provide any evidence to back up the claim of harrassment. Lied when they make the statement, all get a chance to appeal. Because the 2nd email i got from them, they would not respond back to my response. So obviously no appeal was given, or an opportunity at least. And 3rd, they just confirmed that they still have my account. They just have me banned from using it. ****** then deleting the account which contain personal information like my bank account and address

    So i was a seller and a buyer on the app. I was moving faster than anyone on there app as i was selling a ton of cards and gaining over ****k followers in less than 10 months. They gave me 4 violations that weren't valid. i had only 1 valid violation and they refused to appeal any of the violations, i found out through a friend of mine that works for whatnot. He was able to see what they had found out and they determined that i was actually not guilty of the violations i was accused of but they wouldn't appeal it and used it against me to ban my account. They destroyed me. I had sold over $700,000 with this company and had over a **** customer rating with amazing reviews and never had any issue with a customer ever. They refuse to give me access to my account and will not reply to any of my emails. I have them in writing blatantly lying about a handful of things and they don't ever acknowledge any of the questions or concerns i have. Since ive been banned my email has notified me of several thousands of dollars coming to my whatnot account from previous sales. they refuse to give me the money for those items i sold and deflect or ignore anything i have to say. I would love to speak with a lawyer about all of this as I've been stripped of my livelihood. i have hundreds of emails back and forth with them and have recorded videos calls and screenshots. They even contacted me telling me how amazing i was and how they have been watching me for weeks and told me i was gonna be one of the biggest on there app. ****** is there scout that scheduled appointments with me and literally 1 week after they told me i was gonna be taking over and going to the top they suspended my account gave me a bunch of violations and before i knew it i was banned. I have tons of proof abiout these violations and vouchers that can attest to all of this. Looking at my email history its insane the way they have broken relations law and ********** needs to step in and not stand for this anymore.

    I bought about $400 worth of cards from a seller named ************ and he has completely cut off communication with me and tons of others. I wish to be reimbursed for this and whatnot allowing negligent sellers on the app.

    The company has strep seller fees and takes much more then they should. If a cunsomer orders multiple items and pays 20 for shipping and it only cost the seller 5.00 to ship the item Whatnot takes the 15.00. It does not go to the seller or the buyer.

    I was also put on a suspension for items I shipped out months ago. I had resolved this with them but they cannot seem to get there act together and did not look into this. I made very expensive purchases and have no way to see when these items will be shipped to be.

    These are the reason I would like the company looked into. I wonder the legitimacy of them

    October 2022 I discovered this app and made a purchase. Immediately my card was hacked and purchases was made without my authorization. I did not receive my purchase until long after 14 days. I was disappointed how the item arrived. But It was the last costing me $500 + but I won the giveaway that was more than what I purchased. My card was charged $10,000 which I was floored when my card only had a limit of $5000. **** Complained, received 1 response from whatnot, then dead in the water, then wanted a cancelation, denied. Then kept getting charged no items filed complaint multiple times. Finally, moved card and closed account and now have $10,000 in charges. I know we all have to make money and I support hard work. But when someone or a company takes advantage of there customers are BAD BUSINESS. I'll make it my business to fight this company and the sharks that jump in the pool and take advantage and ripe off the small fishes and EAT THEM ALIVE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WHATNOT APP AND BACKYARD-savvy that will rip you off!
