    I registered as a seller on WhatNot and after completing onboarding, ran two live shows selling collectible figures. I met the seller goal for a $150 promotional bonus, which on top of my sales totaled about $406. I then tried to cash out my funds once all the orders had been shipped and completed, and WhatNots app required me to register my personal information. I did this, and entered my social security number and other information as necessary. The app stated that it would take up to three business days to verify this information. It has been a month with no feedback, and I am unable to view the status of or re-input my information. Support has been completely unresponsive, as I have contacted two different email addresses, submitted a ticket, and filled out a seller survey to zero response. This is unnecessary and possibly criminal of them to hold my funds that I earned by selling collectibles with no communication at all.

    I have had several issues with this company. I have had issues with receiving the product which shows delivered but tracking is stuck and I dont have the item. I have experienced issues with unauthorized charges, purchases made with my card that I did not approve. Issues with receiving items that were inaccurately described and have opened disputes for all of the above to receive a response that it was being looked into and then to have the request closed with no update. I have received a response stating that the items received were as described when they were not. And was told to wait on opening a claim for items not received that extends outside of the timeframe that their policy states that they will step in to help.     On December 31st purchases were made using my ****** account on this website 10 of them to be exact, then on January 10th 10 more purchases were made. I only noticed after I had logged into my ****** account. I sent an email on January 11th to let them know my account was compromised and havent heard anything back. ****** opened a dispute for merchandise not received on my end as I havent received anything because I didnt purchase anything and the seller has refused and sent me an email telling me to reach out to them before making disputes with my bank which I did. I dont appreciate them not responding to my initial concern and then sending me an email telling me not to file disputes and to reach out to them. I did that and they have been no help. I had to close my entire checking account due to fear of it being compromised from it being linked to my ****** and Im out $367 which I find incredibly unfair. The company is stating that due to there being tracking numbers Im not eligible for a refund as they show they are delivered. I have had nothing show up in the mail.

    I recently bought a ****** thinking that it was real but when I recieved it was fake. I messaged the seller if I can get a refund. They agreed and let me keep it. However to get a refund, whatnot has to approve my refund. I was rejected for refund fraud which violates the buyer protection and counterfeit protection they have in their policies. I messaged them for an appeal to lift this unfair ban but they have not helped me. Even if my account is in good standing they reject all my appeals.

    I purchased a pair of ****** 1 Off White UNC from a seller on Whatnot, as soon as the shoes were received it was apparent they were counterfeit goods. I immediately had them authenticated and they failed, additionally, they came in the wrong box and didn't have any of the additional required accessories that would qualify them as brand new dead stock. I messaged Whatnot support on 12/21/24 notifying them of the issue, they responded with a request of proof which I immediately uploaded. On 12/21/24 I received a shipping label and shipped them back to Whatnot. Shoes were marked received at Whatnot on 12/30/24. On 12/31/24 I sent an email asking for an update, received no response. I sent another email on 1/2/25 asking for an update, no response. On 1/3/25 I sent another email asking for an update and requested a response from a Supervisor, still no response. On 1/6/25 I sent another email asking for a manager and informed them that I would file a chargeback with ****************, as well as a complaint with the BBB, **************************************, and the ***, still no response. Total fraud, and they will post a canned response here stating to contact them through the website or app, clearly it is apparent that using that form of communication is useless.

    2 live stream shows were completed with over $900 in sales being completed on the platform. On 12/22/2024 my account lost access to the "Seller Hub" which allows for order management and transfer of profits. I am unable to help buyers with their orders, receive funds from sales and create any more sales. I have contacted support 3 times separately and have not been provided any useful support and have been told repeatedly that they need more time to look into the issue.

    On 12/26/24 my account was banned. I have submitted a request to have this appealed. I have received no information on why my account was banned and no response to the request. I have sent multiple emails days apart in an attempt to get a response with no luck. I have reached out on Instagram and X but nothing. I do not believe I did anything wrong and this was a mistake but the system.

    I reached out to seller and whatnot team multiple times to rectify situation on a never received item I purchased. They tried to send me to the courier I reached out to them and they said to contact seller and whatnot that they are the ones who can refund. They threatened me with making my account In poor standing. They also said they refuse to refund me based on the fact that theres nothing they can do. They have refunded multiple of my friends purchases and now have placed my account in not good standing meaning I cant reach out to them via the app or file any other claims. They are punishing me for telling the truth.

    MANY sellers on the WhatNot selling platform engage in "Buyer's Only Giveaways," which per the WhatNot policy on their website, as well as state and federal laws, is illegal. Specifically, I made a purchase on @Trupullz (seller's tag on the app) stream, which supposedly qualified me for a buyers only giveaway at the end of the stream. After I made the purchase, the seller, Trupullz, banned me and blocked me, removing my name from the hat and unable to participate in the giveaway. So, not only is WhatNot and this seller running illegally-styled giveaways, but then they are acting maliciously to remove the buyers from the giveaway, which makes it even more unfair and predatory.

    This business is committing fraud against the customers. It allows sellers to untruthfully sell items without disclosure of major defects. Then when an undisclosed threshold of refund requests are reached the business tells the buyer they are committing abuse or fraud and the buyer us punished by not being able to get refund for items purchased from fraudulent sellers, even with video proof of sale and photograph evidence of defects.
