I have multiple accounts with ********************** reported inaccurately on my credit reports. These include:Account ********* with a charged-off balance of $7,913 reported as a derogatory installment loan.Account ********* with a balance of $30,523 reported as charged off.Secured credit card account ********* with a charged-off balance of $93.Despite these accounts being removed by Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion after disputes, Unify repeatedly reports them as reopened on my credit reports, which is misleading and improper. This continual reopening after removal causes ongoing damage to my credit.Reporting dates and statuses fluctuate inconsistently across bureaus, and Unify fails to provide accurate or verifiable information despite numerous disputes and CFPB complaints filed since 2023.Unifys practices violate the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). I request the BBBs assistance to ensure Unify immediately stops these misleading reopenings, corrects or removes all inaccurate information, and fully complies with credit reporting laws.Business Response

No one has responded to me from this business about someone opening an account in my name without my knowledge and I wanna get in touch with the business to know who did it, why , and where but they have yet to respond to any of my calls or messages, it is very hard to reach them, I want this item off of my credit its hurting me badly in succeeding in life, They have not sent me a copy of the contract as requested. I did a voluntary repo on a car in June 2019. The account was charged off with a balance of $12,753.00. I recently discovered that they have continued to add late fees and interest to the account making the balance now at $19,634.00. I was terminated from my job due to this misinformation. I have disputed with Transunion several times. Initially they agreed and removed this account from my report only to put it right back on the next day. I am not understanding how any company can continue to add fees and interest to a closed/charged off account. I am seeking to have this account removed from my report asap. I would like to get my job back. Unfortunately I no longer have the account number. I can provide my social security number if needed.Business Response

I opened a account with this ********************************************* because my employer has this credit union specifically as a benefit. So I went thru the process initially online and they said that I failed the identity and I would need to step into the branch so I stepped into their branch and opened a checking and savings account and upon the initial sign up done by Ahvee Yisrael (Member Financial Specialist) I was signed up for the totally wrong type of checking account (echecking) based on my needs of letting it sit I needed the (Free Checking Account) as it is called and unfortunately had to chat in your guys chat support to fix it which it did fix it but then I was greeted with a unrequested transfer done by the branch due to the banker not fully informing me of the minimum required to deposit and now I have unnecessary transfers on the account that I rather don't need. Internal transfers based on experience make someone's tax experience that much hard. I have set up a appointment calendar to fix this. I simply want to see how this could have happened and why I was not informed resulting in a miss match account. I find it very scary in fact that the banker is the one we depend on for anything related to banking and this happened directly by the banker. I will have to drive a unnecessary 12 miles there and 12 miles back to fix a mistake that your banker should of just done right off the bat like how can one mess up simply on minimums like i put 40 in the account and so if I needed that 25 in checking he should have simply informed me by saying something like hey I see you gave me 40 and there is a minimum of 25 to open it did you want me to open this with 25 and put the remaining 15 into your savings which did not happen in fact. The $5 minimum for savings and turning on e statements was the only thing truly told me to me.Business Response

I had a ChexSystems inquiry added to my ***ort in Nov 13, 2023, and I was unable to complete this application due to a technical error with funding on UNIFY's side. This was ***orted to them at the time and the application was cancelled. Because of this, I asked the *** who handled this cancellation, ****** *******, to remove this inquiry, and she confirmed that this was submitted to Chex on Feb 24th. I understand that it can take up to 60 days to remove but Chex has stated that they. have not received anything from UNIFY and, unfortunately, UNIFY denied my Chex dispute, which would have removed this inquiry immediately. I do want to make sure this is submitted correctly with Chex as this inquiry should have been removed alongside the dispute I submitted.Business Response

On 10/11/2024 i deposited a check from the same anniuiy company that *** received many .much larger checks from. They released part in 5 days and supposed to release the rest on the 18th. No explanation for long hold which contradicts their written policy but on the 18th they extended it to the 31st? We banked wirh them since 1983 when it was trw and never had any problems. Now they claim bc I had a 45 dollar overdraft but their policy states a 5 days hold could be imposed. Nowhere does it say 21 days. By the time they reluctantly lifted it on the 22nd the damage was done. I incurred hundreds of dollars in late fees on my bills some of which made special arrangements to allow me to pay on the 18th just as the unify representine and supervisor ****** assured me would be released there is no justification for such a ridiculous hold. It's unreaosnable in this day and age where I'm sure they got the money right away. It's not like we are new customers or have any history of fraudulent behavior. I'm getting old and forgot about a reoccurring 45 dollar hospital bill.Business Response
