      I need this loan to be settled. I have already paid back the amount I owed. I opened this acct in desperation and was recently laid off and cant afford the insane interest rate. I found out this company is not licensed in WA and I didnt read the fine print carefully enough. I cant afford the 600 percent interest. I already paid back the amount I borrowed.       First Loan is taking money out of my paycheck for a loan they say I received in 2020 , which I never did. Ive never heard of this company until I received a letter saying theyre garnishing my paycheck . I did not apply nor get a loan from them ever ! I want this garnishment stopped and my money back !

      First Loan has tried numerous times to garnish my check, I repeatedly informed them I never applied for a loan with them, This ongoing harassment is stressing me out medically, I filed a police report of an account they claim was open in my name. Every time i call they ask for my social which I will not give them, they also send me a loan agreement that looks like a child signed that can not be made out. I want them to stop calling me. emailing me and trying to garnish my check. you re the BBB and see numerous complaints about this business that needs to be shut down for their fraudulent claims against random people. I am also filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs and NAACP to get this matter resolved as well, this business licence needs to be revoked and shut down for to many complaints of the same is***s, no one applied with them but they want to *** random people that they either obtain/bought a list of people that applied for a credit card or other accounts. I never applied with them or needed a loan when I have family/friends that I can ask for money. Plus my job gives us advancement on our paychecks, Please resolve this before I take further actions and we all that has been harassed can file a class action lawsuit against them.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have been speaking with them for weeks and this matter has not been resolved, the continue to harass me at my job and when I call no one understands English and those that do say they will forward my complaint to a supervisor. This is not an acceptable excuse their business license need to be revoked and class actions lawsuits filed against the company for opening up loans in vulnerable victims names and than harassing them to pay a loan we never applied for, they continue to ask me for personal information which I refuse. 

      BBB its your job to hold them accountable and fine them for numerous complaints about the same thing, we didnt open a loan account with them. I filed a police report and they still are harassing me..its your job to investigate and shut them down. Thanks

      THIS COMAPANY HAS SENT A WAGE ASSIGNEMENT (GARNISHMENT) TO MY EMAPLOYER THROUGH A COLLECTION COMPANY. FIRST I APPLIED FOR A LOAN AND GOT APPROVED THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT GOT DENIED IN UNDERWRITING AND I NEVER ACTUALLY RECEIVED THE ****** SO FOR THEM TO TRY AND GET MONEY FROM ME AND I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED FUNDING IS BEYOND ME. THEY ARE TRYING TO COLLECT MONEY FROM MY EMPLOYER WITHHOLDING IT THROUGH MY PAYCHECK WHICH I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS SINCE THE LOAN WAS DENIED. I HAVE ALL THE EMAILS TO BACK UP WHAT I AM SAYING FROM THEM SHOWING IT WAS IN FACT DENIED AND I NEVER GOT THE MONEY FROM THEM. ATTACHED ARE THE 2 EMAILS. ONE SAID I WAS APPROVED THE 2ND ME LETTING THEM KNOW IMMEDIATELY IT WAS DENIED AND I NEVER GOT THE LOAN.       I am rejecting this response because: I never even got a loan through them. I put that in my first complaint!  I applied and got rejected so I never received the funds!  They need to quit contacting me and my employer regarding this since I owe them NOTHING and no funds were ever given to me!  They need to contact their people and tell them to quit harassing me and trying to get a garnishment from my employer like I already told them. They have not and do not follow the laws in place. If I have to I will get an attorney involved and come after them for fraudulent tactics and since I never even received a loan through them myself I dont owe them and I will go after them for that as well including attorney fees and for harassment. They can go back and see that I did not receive any funds through them ever!  I have the bank account records and emails to prove it!

      I obtained a loan with first loan for $600 November 2021. I was in a serious financial bind and was made to sign loan agreements prior to approval. Fast forward to November of 2022, without any contact with me sent a wage garnishment to my employer. I've since then have been garnished every week at the rate of 15%, which is put a SERIOUS burden on me and my family's well being!! I have already paid back thru pay garnish over $900, and the wage garnishment states a total of $1,250!! I've tried to login to my account via there website to make sure of my balance to only find out I cant because they a big message that you cannot get past to access your account pops up saying they no longer offer loans!!! I did some research and found out that there is also a class action lawsuit against them, for illegal, fraudulent practices!! I do acknowledge the $600 I borrowed. However, no contact from them, and no court ordered judgement for garnishment has ever been filed! I demand the garnishment STOPS NOW, and that I'm also reimbursed every dollar I've already paid back through payroll deduction aside from the $600 i originally borrowed!! This company is a SCAM and should be prosecuted for there illegal and non transparent practices!!! I will be filing the same complaint against them, with the ohio attorney general!

      I received an email on 11/06/2022 titled "Notice of Voluntary Wage Garnishment" from FirstLoan.com. I have been called at home at all hours of the day and night and at work from 8am until I leave, constantly throughout the day. I have tried calling and emailing without a response. This loan was discharged in a Chapter 7 in 2020. I should not be contacted AT ALL. EVER. I forwarded the email as well as some of the voicemails over to the district attorney and I am going to contact the ************************************* I have since contacted my attorney and we are going to file a lawsuit not only for her time but for harassment and illegal business practices. We truly fear for our lives.Just FYI - Tribal loan companies are covered under CFPB v. Great Plains Lending, LLC while People v. MNE applies in **********.

      I am rejecting this response because: This was not "in error". This was illegal. Most people that received that email would have paid something because they were scared. The email I received trying to scare me and demanding money was illegal. Calling my personal cell at all hours of the day and night was unacceptable. But calling me at work at hospice and telling the receptionists that you were collecting a past due debt is against the law.

      Luckily my lawyer called and scared First Loan; that's the only reason they responded. We are reporting this to the bankruptcy judge. There are laws that govern this and penalties that can be requested. We are going to demand compensation and are currently contemplating a class action lawsuit.i want this company to admit they tried to get money not owed and I want compensation for the harassment.

      I am rejecting this response because: This is completely illegal and unethical of a business. What if someone received that same email and just paid them? That has probably happened many many times. This company needs to look into their illegal business practices or a government body needs to take a deeper look. 

      If this doesn't happen soon, I am going to the news, Five on Your Side and bring all of this to their attention. Hopefully this will cause a governmental body to look deeper into this company.

      I wonder how many people this company sent those letters too "in error". How many people had to pay their lawyer like I did to get assistance.

      Yesterday 11/7/2022 I received a threatening email from First Loan about a notice to wage assignment garnishment. They are telling me like they did Oct 2020 they will be sending a wage assignment to my employer unless I fill out a form or send a letter revoking the permission for the wage assignment.I have already done this back in Oct ******************************************************************** the future.Yesterday same email. I replied several times including forwarding the email from Oct 2020 and the certified letter I spent money to send again with the images.I tried to call yesterday morning 11/7 after getting the email but when I refused to give my DOB and offered the reference number on the email instead the agent hung up after saying "how can I verify you then?"Today I called back and spoke with ***** first. I verified my info anyway and asked to speak to a supervisor. He asked what it was about before transferring and I said the threatening wage assignment email I received and he replied there was no assignment on my record.I still asked for a super. After waiting a few minutes I got ******. She claimed it was a glitch in their system and there was no wage assignment. I demanded an email for proof. She asked if I wanted to wait on the line while she sent the email and I did. I received the similar email from Oct 2020 stating "We are in receipt of your inquiry in which you want to revoke your Wage authorization. Per your remarks, I have revoked to prevent further Wage Assignment withdrawals."She proceeded to speak about the loan saying "since I called them" asking when I will pay. I told her I could not discuss that now as I am preparing to give birth and after the suffering they caused me yesterday with the email, I experienced symptoms including mild contractions and stress. ****** KEPT repeating the same questions. I finally had to hang up to get her off the line because she refused.

      I received an email from this company stating that I defaulted on a loan from them in 20** and they would begin garnishing my wages in 10 days. However, all of my debt was discharged thru a ch.7 bk in 2020. They have also not provided any validation of this debt and are in violation of the United stated bk laws in even attempting to collect on a discharged debt. Bk case #**-32662-jda. I am requesting that they immediately revoke any VOLUNTARY WAGE ASSIGNMENT that *** have been entered into prior to the discharge of this debt thru the ch.7 bankruptcy. They do not have permission or the legal standing to assign my wages to themselves as a means to repay a debt that was legally discharged thru ch 7 bankruptcy.

      I am rejecting this response because: this company illegally and erroneously contacted my employer in an attempt to "voluntarily assign wages" on a debt that was discharged through a ch. 7 bankruptcy. Even in their response they are making no attempt to make it right or reassure me that they will discontinue their illegal attempt at collecting on a legally discharged debt. I won't consider this issue resolved until they assure me that they will discontinue their attempts at garnishing my wages. Based on their response above, if they are not willing to concede then my next step will be to initiate a lawsuit. There is nothing voluntary about attempting to access my employment wages to pay themselves back on a debt that was lawfully discharged 2 years ago through a Ch 7 BK. If I did agree to a voluntary assignment of wages that was buried in loan paperwork, then I revoke that permission and it has be revoked anyway by way of the Chapter 7 discharge. What this company is doing is wrong & illegal and it needs to stop.

      I am rejecting this response because:this company has promised me that they would send me something in writing (via email) confirming that their attempt at having my employer voluntarily assign my wages was their error and they would make no further attempts to intercept my payroll, however to date they have not provided anything that I would consider adequate. This is an extremely unscrupulous business and there collection practices are equally as unscrupulous and illegal. As *** stated before, I will not consider this matter resolved until I receive something in writing from them stating that neither they or any company on their behalf will make no further attempts at collecting on this discharged debt and that I have their assurance that they will make no further attempts to garnish my wages under the false claim that I agreed to a voluntary assignment of wages so they are within their legal rights. I also simultaneously have a grievance filed with the state attorney generals office and will not back down until they provide me what I am faking for in writing. I will not tolerate illegal and abusive collection attempts.

      I did sign loan with them but did not realize they were breaking law by charging 764% interest on my loan as a fraudulent ****** leader. The state of ******** has filed a class action lawsuit against the company. While I am in ******* the suit accuse firstloan of fraudulent behavior and I doubt a state would bring a suit if they did not have facts to back them up. I am requesting a refund of any money amount paid above ******* legal interest rate.

      Complaint: I have previously emailed and tried calling just about my balance and my concerns on the legality of the loan it has been several weeks with no response. I had this loan since the beginning oof January of this year at ********************************************************************************************** full and stop taking payments out my bank account. I have forwarded my issue with ******* attorney General about the legality of this loan . On there site they are no longer giving loans I believe due to class action lawsuit. If they believe they did nothing wrong they would be continuing doing loans.
