    Okay here is my whole statement , plus the resolution that i am looking for

    On 05/06/2025, I ****** camberos ****** was on mc ****** located ********************************************  At approximately 12:25pm I entered mc ****** , I made a purchase , wait for it to be ready, and walked outside to eat because ********* was   too crowded.  Once I finished my meal and i was ready to go, i went to the parking lot looking for my vehicle, but my vehicle was gone.  A towing company called metro towing *** located at ********************************************* towed my vehicle without a valid reason, they charged me 514dlls, and they said they had the right to towed. They didnt give any explanation, they didnt care that i was a ******** costumer. I tried to dispute the fact i was parked in **************** because i was a ********* costumer. they threatened me Saying that they were going to keep my vehicle if I dont pay the money they resquested. Also one of the guys snatched documents from my hand and pushed me while being on their metro office. Please i want something to be done about this, this isnt the first time they treated people this way. While being on their business office i personally with o bad they were treating two other people.


     

    I want metro towing *** to reimburse my money, I believe someone need to check the way they do business and to dont let that operate them the way they do.

    Im reading his explanation of what accrued and I'm not sure how is it possible that he ate outside and he didnt see a tow truck towing his vehicle   
    its a big truck and he missed it and it take about 10 minutes to hook up a vehicle. 
    also the ********* receipt is very wrinkled like it was picked off the floor 

    I will request the cameras at ******** to see if he was there at the time of purchase as he claims

    To whom it may concern,My name is ******** *******, and I am submitting this complaint regarding an incident involving Metro Towing, Inc., which occurred on April 13, 2025, near *************************************I am disputing the towing of my 2007 ****** Prius (license plate: ********. English is not my first language, and I may have misunderstood the parking signage due to limited language proficiency. However, I made a good faith effort to comply with the rules I parked near a coffee shop, read the signs, and understood that parking was permitted if I made a purchase. I went inside, placed an order, and then briefly stepped into the same coffee shops restroom.When I returned just a few minutes later, my car was already gone.I located it at the Metro Towing yard at *********************************************. I explained the situation to the staff, but the employee refused to speak with me further and stated that only the manager could help and that I would have to come back the next day. I was told I had to either pay the full amount or leave without my car. With no other option, I paid $514, a significant financial burden that required help from friends to cover.The next morning, I returned to speak with the manager, but again, my concerns were dismissed. I was told I broke the rules simply because I stepped away from the vehicle. I tried to explain that I had only gone into the restroom of the same coffee shop where I made a purchase, but no one was willing to listen.I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed. I am a new driver and had purchased my car only a week before. I did not intend to violate any rules, and I believed I was parking legally. The penalty feels severe for a very short and unintentional mistake.Please consider a refund or a reduction of the fee.     Metro Towing was called to the property. We follow all rules and regulations, metro towing does not come and tow vehicle. Its unfortunate that the vehicle was towed but its her responsibility 

    we always check the property before we tow the vehicle

    On March 13, 2025, my ****** Prius was towed while I was inside Jack in the Box. The tow truck driver came in and asked if I had a car. I said yes, but he continued questioning me. I raised my voice, saying, Bro, I have a car here. Please leave me alone. Despite this, my car was towed. When I retrieved my car and paid $371.80, I wanted to contest the ticket. They told me I could only do so through them. When I asked how they knew I was inside the restaurant, they said the tow truck driver reported it. If they knew I was inside, the towing was unjustified. I request a review and refund of the fee.

    I asked permission to park my vehicle at a business and was given approval. This company towed my vehicle. The veterans administration made attempts to pay and get it back. They require a number from the tow company for filing paperwork. The company refuses to give information and will not release my vehicle. The price increases daily.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The response from the business does not address the issues that prompted me to request a partial refund

    I am requesting a refund of $75 for one day of storage. I was charged for two days of storage, even though my car was in their position for less than 24 hours.  

    Im requesting a refund of $137.50 because I was charged for something they called an after our release, Presumably because I picked up the car on Saturday.

    They will argue that they are closed on Saturdays and that it is posted on their door which it is. However, when I called the business Friday evening upon discovering my car had been towed and asked if they were open on Saturday they said yes, and told me to come at 10 AM.There was no mention of an additional day charge or an after hour charge. 
    I am still requesting a refund of $212.50.

    ed my car the previous evening and had it in their possession from no later than 6 PM Friday evening until 10 AM the following Saturday morning). When I said this to the clerk, he rejected my license and credit card and said he would no longer accept a credit card. He said if I was going to contest the charges, then he was not going to accept a credit card even though the sign in the office carried the credit card logos as forms of payment. I offered cash and he wrote a new receipt for the cash. When I signed it I also hand wrote I make this payment under protest at which point the clerk said he was not going to release the car at all because technically they were closed on Saturday. He was essentially holding my car hostage. Eventually, I acquiesced paying fully in cash $577 with an added fee noted, "after hour release" $137! I hope you will look into their unscrupulous practices and help me secure o refund of excessive charges Back to top

    She was told the price and then when I took the credit card as payment she then said she will dispute it, this is a good reason for me not to accept her credit card

We are called to the location throughout the day for parking violators, if you think you were wrongfully towed you should contact the **************** The complaint shouldnt be made against us. We are called to service the management. Also we accept all form of payments, another untrue fact!!!!!!

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Dear BBB and Metro Towing ****,

    Thank you for your response. However, I must respectfully disagree with the claims made by Metro Towing **** regarding this matter.

    1. Cash Only Demand:

    I requested to pay by credit card at the scene, but I was explicitly told that only cash would be accepted. As a result, I had no choice but to run to a nearby ATM to withdraw the required cash. This is a verifiable fact, and witnesses, including the propertys security and management, can confirm this interaction.

    2. Acknowledgment of Parking Violation:

    I fully acknowledged and apologized for parking on private property at the scene. However, the subsequent events clearly violated California law.

    3. Illegal Towing While Present:

    Despite my presence and willingness to pay, Metro Towing **** towed my vehicle while I was momentarily away withdrawing cash, after explicitly instructing me to do so. Under California Civil Code *****, towing a vehicle when the owner is present and willing to resolve the issue is illegal.

    4. Small Claims Preparation:

    Due to these actions, I am currently preparing a small claims lawsuit to address the financial and emotional harm caused by Metro Towing ****s unlawful and unethical practices. I strongly believe Metro Towing **** must acknowledge their wrongdoing in this situation.

    I respectfully request that Metro Towing **** take responsibility for their actions and work towards a fair resolution. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

    She caught the driver off the property and we are allowed to charge a drop fee off the property, the driver pulled over for her she refused to pay with cash or credit then the driver proceeded. Then she came to the location paid for her vehicle. Majority of our business is credit cards so this is untrue. 
    She left her vehicle at a restaurant private property not medical facility

    I dont understand what is overcharged, the rates are posted at the release room and at the the time of the release the charges were explained and the receipt has details of each charge
