The reason for my letter is to inform you of my experience with a company called Healthylooking based out of ***********. This company runs advertisements on radio-station **** & ***** in **** ******** ********** claiming that their products erase wrinkles & bags under the eyes; I had the mis-fortune of dealing with this company. The company touts such products as "Instantly Ageless" & "Luminesce." On July 18,2021, I ordered a starter kit for both products at $19.99 for each starter kit, for a total of $39.98 for both. The operator who took the order informed me that I would be receiving a one-month supply of each product. On July 23, 2021, I received two (2) tubes of "Instantly Ageless" good for two (2) applications & a one week supply of ************** both certainly short of a one-month supply promised. I tried to call the company @ ************** (the same telephone number on which I placed the order) but the telephone was out of order; then I tried to write the company at: "************************** but that e-mail address turned out to be bogus as well!I certainly would not have ordered the products had I known that the doctor making the promises/claims of the Healthylooking Company is misrepresenting & falsely advertising. The samples sent are certainly not a sufficient amount to evidence positive results, which was my reasoning behind the exercise. So no matter what justification is used, the bottom line is that I got cheated out of $40!I have already written the host of the aforementioned FM stations, *** ****** ****** informing him of my bad experience with this company & that the FM stations should bear a certain responsibility for touting a company conducting such fraudulent activity. I wrote him that people like myself place a trust in what appears on their program run over the airways because the expectation is that the stations would have vetted the company & its claims more carefully.
